  1. Jay Lethal was world champion and TV champion at the same time. Marty Scurll, who should have won the world title instead of Matt Taven, formed Villain Enterprises with PCO and Brody King after The Elite left.
  2. Fuck, it just got dusty in here...and who decided it was a good time to start chopping onions?
  3. Doesn't the story go that firefighters thought they heard a child inside, but it actually turned out to be Frankie? I don't want to think about what an awful death that bird suffered.
  4. Hillbillies, Native Americans...I'm sure it's all the same to Vince.
  5. When Tatanka came back in 2005, I think he should have had the gimmick of a crooked casino boss on a Native American reservation.
  6. These are all questions to ask PCO should any of us ever meet him.
  7. I'd like to see Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher split off from the Don Callis Family, then re-unite Aussie Open when Mark Davis is ready to return and have Ospreay and Aussie Open remain as the United Empire.
  8. I've never been a big Matt Taven fan. I hated his ROH world title run, and feel it should have gone to Marty Scurll. With that said, I'm starting to come around on Taven. While I don't think he should ever be a world champion again, he's fine in his current role. That was a fun TV main event and I'm glad Taven got to shine.
  9. I think you're thinking of Private Party, who beat the Bucks in the first round of the tag team title tournament. I'm pretty sure Top Flight never beat the Bucks, unless I missed it.
  10. That certainly makes it seem as if we'll see a Kazuchika Okada is All Elite graphic.
  11. Heenan was right about Hogan all along. He would have been right about Vince if he had worked with Vince as much as he worked with Gorilla. The only thing we really know about Nigel, if you followed ROH during his tenure is that he thinks Bryan Danielson is a clamdigger.
  12. Taking a hiatus from the board probably wouldn't be helpful. Like I said, I've got my IOP group, individual therapist, and this board for support. If I disappear, I'm probably off to the races, and that will be really bad. I figured talking about it now will help for when March 31st rolls around.
  13. I'll always have a soft spot for Monsoon, Heenan, and Ventura. They're the voices I grew up on, with JR to a lesser extent since I was more of a WWF kid than a JCP/WCW kid.
  14. I don't know if anything holds up as poorly as the Attitude Era, JR & Lawler included. The Invasion was a big, steamy pile of shit, but Paul Heyman did his best to put the Alliance over. Lawler never would have done that, aside from Stacey Keibler and Torrie Wilson.
  15. He probably pratices The People's Eyebrow in the bathroom mirror.
  16. The two year anniversary of my father's passing is coming up on March 31st. I'm definitely feeling some feelings. I've been listening to Everclear's "Father of Mine" a lot lately. I'm worried about possibly relapsing with Mr. White. I've got my IOP group and my individual therapist to vent to. The DVDVR has always been supportive, so I just wanted to put it out there.
  17. I loved the use of the railroad spike on Mark Briscoe. That and the Young Bucks bloody suits have Jimmy Jacobs fingerprints all over it.
  18. Wasn't there a WWF show circa late '87-early '88 where Jim Duggan and Harley Race fought throughout the entire show? It may have started out as a match between them and then ended up fighting all over. Does this sound familiar to anyone else?
  19. I'd go out of my way to catch the rest of Collision, especially Brody King/Mark Briscoe.
  20. Oh yeah. I kinda forgot about Dickey Barrett's views when the idea came to me. Maybe if he could have kept his mouth shut in the first place, they wouldn't have broken up.
