  1. That CROWD SUCKED. There was tons of great stuff happening and they just sat there, worse then Dallas. Toni's new heel make up was terrible, it's like they tried to make her look Russian. Forgive my ignorance here for a second: I'm aware of the Briscoes, but since I was never an ROH guy, I'm not familiar with them. I'm slightly confused; their character(s) is that they're supposed to be rednecks, but they're from Delaware? I don't understand. Either way, that was a proper tribute and match, the correct main event for the evening. The cuts to Lethal crying just tore us up, though. Next week's episode is packed.
  2. Also gotta say I absolutely loved the retroconing on Dark with Tazz and Excalibur in regards to Peter Avalon's hair, that was very funny. "That's not good grammar or English" - never change, Tazz.
  3. I'm going to need the S.A.P./Wingmen to be a thing forever, they've absolutely been the MVPs of Dark lately. Congrats to Tony Deppen for winning his first match! (unfortunately at the hands of Serpentico). Deppen has been one of my low-key favorites on Dark, I dig his character and style.
  4. One of my friends had said "Why not (Cage) just beat up MJF and take his money?"
  5. Dark Order kinda proved he was this week on Dark.
  6. In the middle of January, I have to give props to two wrestlers that have significantly improved in my eyes and have really made a difference in watching AEW programing: Brian Cage and Ethan Page Both were just dreadful, unentertaining vacuums of charisma prior, I'd usually change the channel when they came on. I'm totally digging the path (so far) they've made with Cage as far as having a longer, more entertaining and competitive match with local talent he's been doing lately. Coupled with Prince Nana who is absolutely great, he's improved so much since his Team Tazz days. Ethan Page (like I mentioned in the Youtube thread) was just awful during the Men Of The Year/ATT days, as his stint there was very boring to me. I'm absolutely loving what he's been doing with Hardy Party, it really makes entertaining viewing during Dark Elevation and Dark, despite Cranky-Ass Isiah trying to stop him.
  7. I'm going to need a .gif of Avalon/Nemeth/Serpentico/Luther doing hip gyrations post-haste, that was possibly my favorite thing ever done in this company, ever. Edit: Also, I know I've been critical of Ethan Page before, saying he was boring and such (to be fair, he was, the Men of The Year/ATT was just DREADFUL) but I'm all for this new character taking down the Hardy name a peg, absolutely am loving him singing the lyrics to their theme song, and the dancing, and him calling out Cranky-Ass Isiah, he's truly made me look forward to their matches, which is an impressive feat indeed.
  8. Push Takeshita TO THE MOON! Also, I TOTALLY CALLED THE SARAYA AND TONI HEEL TURN. Folks didn't believe me but I knew it was coming. Britt and Jamie truly were the faces the whole time! Now I'm just waiting for Shida's face turn to cement it all.
  9. Only Justin Roberts did it. unfortunately.
  10. Plus, it didn't help that that's what his intro video said, but he was announced as "Heavy Metal"
  11. As for why he wore it or otherwise? I seem to recall they briefly mentioned he thought it talked to him or something similar, but it was only mentioned once and never referenced again.
  12. I mean, I do. But I also don't read Twitter.
  13. To be fair, they've kinda already been that way when this feud started. Saraya is face in name only.
  14. I'm more concerned about the fact they didn't explain how Parker got out of The Trustbusters.
  15. Send him to WWE. I have no desire to watch him (again) on AEW.
  16. R.I.P. Pretty Paul's amazing hair (I know he had gotten a haircut a while ago, but I'm still in mourning.) I still love the SAP and big props to Danhausen for wearing Homer's mumu and hat. Also him throwing out Bryce to confusion was amazing.
  17. Initially I thought they'd have Joe win so that (returning) Wardlow would get revenge, but wrestling logic dictates the crowd has to go home happy and have the local hero win. I'm guessing they're going to build up Wardlow's return to (maybe) take the ROH TV Title? Plus he has to sell the loss of his manbun. So I realize it's a bit of a rehash, but there's still so much to Hobbs' story I want to know about. Mainly, why did he join Team Tazz after weeks of turning them down? Also I remembered that short time when he was going to team up with Mox and Darby, Mox gave him a hell of a promo and I'd like that to be revisited. Despite all he's done I simply cannot boo Hobbs, his life story makes him a natural face.
  18. Geez I hope Sasha doesn't show up in this company. I want to keep enjoying it.
  19. Well that new set was underwhelming. When they said new look I was expecting more, my biggest wish was a new look to the ring/ring area, but sadly no change. Legit laughed out loud as Britt was once again correct about Saraya, as she couldn't even remember Shida's name. That seemed like a great crowd, and it was a really great show!
  20. I want to know what happened to Griff. This week's episodes were all about DANCING AND GYRATING, AND I'M ALL FOR IT.
  21. Steve Blackman had two great songs, but his character wasn't really that much fun during the first one. Edit: I'd also nominate Chaz and Jerry Lynn's WWF theme as well.
  22. I'd really be curious to see some sort of straw poll with the lockeroom; as far as what percentage is willing to take him back in and what percentage isn't.
  23. My mom was super excited, but she's not a fan of Slim J's fancy new visors, she says the money is getting to him now. Except for the part about the fired up dog, what ever that means.
  24. Cultaholic did another AI episode, this time for Smackdown: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yU90jT8bgw
