I really enjoyed the new ring rope colors. I had been saying for a while they needed to spruce up their ring. I wonder what the occasion was, and if it's going to stick from now on.

I'm going to agree here. I believe that when Dark Elevation first launched, that was the initial goal (the old intro certainly showed it.) There's enough folks either within the company or local talent that gets reused frequently enough that they could make the show that. One of the things I really do enjoy on Dark Elevation and Dark are seeing returning local talent, I'm sure several of us have favorites that they'd like to see more often!

I watch all four programs, and there's definitely a hierarchy when it comes to preference: Dynamite (most weeks) > Dark Elevation > Dark > Rampage I love that Dark Elevation and Dark AREN'T recap shows a la WWF Superstars/Wrestling Challenge, and that they have their own semi-universe of stories and nuances.

I'm not 100%, but my mom swears RJ City was the guy that kept turning his face in the QTV segment.

No one should ever be scared of Riho, even with a pipe. Speaking of which, that segment made me do a double-take and think I went back to 1994 with those outfits everyone was wearing. I'm pretty upset about the QTV bit. IT DIDN'T EXPLAIN ANYTHING. What happened to The Factory? Especially now that we've seen that he's kept Solo but not Carter or Johnson. IS NICKY BOY OKAY?!

JACK CARTWHEEL is a total boy, and is totally in my stable. I want to see more of him. Call of the night was Tazz with "she's got a slanky woman vibe".

GIVE HOBBS AND TAKESHITA ALL THE THINGS. RD Reynolds called Julia Hart "Evil Stevie Nicks" and now I'm never going to refer to her as anything else again. Matt Hardy tapping immediately was totally intentional (if you didn't catch it, he smiled subtlety at the end.) That was the one and only time I rooted for Toni, still can't stand Riho. The Kingdom are just the worst and I don't understand why they're still employed. You could audibly hear the air being sucked out of that arena during their entrance (and pretty much every entrance of theirs.)

I totally popped for Peter! Ironically, at the time he showed up, I was having a convo with a co-worker. He mentioned that he's been intrested in AEW so far (he really likes OC) but doesn't have cable, I suggested he watch Dark Elevation and Dark. He mentioned he was weary due to perceiving that those shows featured lesser talents, I had said there's a lot of great up & comers on those shows, and you'll never know who will show up, one of the reasons I'm such a fan of their YT shows. Just as I said that, The Wingmen's music hit and I went "Speaking of!" but unfortunately it was not to be.

Tonight's Dark was an amazing thrill ride. References to Tom Zenk and Duran Duran! Tazz calling Slim J a sketchy cat! Emi and Billie practically killing each other! Tazz being annoyed by large sodas! Sketchy math regarding Bear Boulder! And of course, lots of HIP THRUSTING

An interesting aspect of this week's Dark Elevation was that Tony joined commentary due to Mark Sterling apparently banning Paul Wright from ringside....for some reason.

Dark Order, don't give up, YUKA SAID YES. I really hope they revisit this soon! S.A.P. continue to be the best thing(s) about Dark/Dark Elevation.
