I was thinking of other wrestlers with a lengthy time between WWE world title reigns. Me and @Matt D said Bob Backlund and Kane. Since then and with very little sleep, I've come up with: Goldberg. Lost the World Heavyweight Championship in December 2003. Became WWE Universal Champion in February 2016. Total: 13 years. The Rock. Lost the WWE Undisputed Championship in August 2002. WWE Champion: January to April 2013. Total: 11 years. Brock Lesnar. Lost the WWE Championship to Eddie Guerrero, February 2004. Won it back in August 2014. Total: 10 years. Rock, Brock and Goldberg were gone for a while unlike the Miz and Kane.

Last week I spotted a brand new grey and black TapouT hoodie with tags on eBay so ordered it and arrived today with the AEW Logo Premium Varsity Zip Hoodie for my birthday. It's a rare style of US import when TapouT was an MMA brand. Hard to get them now since TapouT was relaunched in 2015 and new with tags on. My MMA clothing: UFC red and black Sherpa full zip hoodie. UFC grey Sherpa full zip hoodie. UFC beanie hat. TapouT grey tribal full zip hoodie. TapouT black and grey full zip hoodie. TapouT black with white trim shirt. TapOuT green shirt. I had two UFC shirts, three TapouT shirts, a TapouT pullover hoodie and black TapouT top but got rid of them. Looking forward to see what UFC and Venum come up with.

Guess what arrived today? Yes, The AEW Logo Premium Varsity Zip Hoodie! Tried it on and it's a perfect fit. So warm. Got here quick, on the website it says Due to Covid-19, international shipments may take over 30 days to arrive. Ordered on the 3rd of February and arrived on the 22nd today. I'd recommend that hoodie to y'all! Same time a brand new with tags TapouT hoodie arrived. When TapouT was an MMA brand. Really hard getting the MMA ones now since the relaunch in 2015 especially new with tags.

Yeah, Brock vs. Balor was a good one. I'd like to see all those though I'm not hopeful for Brock vs. Roman delivering, only match that did was the first at WrestleMania XXXI. Sadly I think Brock vs. Bryan was a one and done.

Yeah, I soured on 2016-2021 Brock. Lesnar mainly phoned it in but AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan were the exceptions at Survivor Series 2017 and 2018. Those were great. I don't want Brock back. I didn't mind Brock holding the WWE Championship in 2014-2015 as he was delivering inside the ring, Lesnar vs. Reigns at WrestleMania XXXI was fantastic and one of the best main events in the show's long history.

Hoping we get Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan proper at Fastlane which would be fitting as that happened at the first one in 2015 or at SummerSlam. Roman Reigns shouldn't be losing the WWE Universal Championship to Edge at WrestleMania XXXVII. On that thought, going to try and get some sleep at its coming up to 04:10am UK time. Cheers.

A suggestion I'd make is having to defend the briefcase like in New Japan Pro Wrestling and the shot is at a certain show, NJPW's is at Wrestle Kingdom. The MITB format is stale. Memorable cash-ins. The first by Edge to John Cena (January 2006), RVD vs. John Cena at ECW One Night Stand 2006, Edge on The Undertaker (May 2007), Kane on Rey Mysterio at Money in the Bank 2010, Dolph Ziggler to ADR (Post WrestleMania XXIX RAW), Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XXXI and Dean Ambrose at MITB 2016.

Matt Riddle is the new WWE United States Champion. Fuck. Least I missed that by falling asleep after Reigns/Bryan...only to awake and see how the main event ended.

I did same as you, @Matt D. Christian's run as WWECW Champion in 2009-2010 was one of the lone bright spots of WWECW. So glad Christian won a legit World Title in WWE though I always wanted it to be the WWE Championship, that's THE world title in WWE.
