  1. Care Lord We don't talk like that here. There's part of me that would like to see blood, but I understand the reasons why it's not a good idea and grudgingly agree.
  2. The Total Divas not being the Divas champ made good sense, but I doubt it's a permanent rule.
  3. They used to use fake blood to sell 'internal bleeding' from Taker's 'Hells Gate' submission.
  4. Apologies if this has been posted, but I noticed that JTG and Shad appeared in one of the videos from the Morgan Spurlock curated 'We The Economy' short film series: (So you can post vimeo!)
  5. . It does suggest a transition to AJ vs Tamina. AJ was supposed to be in a tag match with a mystery partner on RAW, but they went another way. Judging from Twitter, Tamina has not rehabbed enough to return as yet - so it was probably set to be Bayley.
  6. I'm wondering if Paige's family will get in on the act - Ricky Knight on Total Divas could be major lolz.
  7. I can't dislike Miz anymore. Mediocre in-ring performer, whatever. He's fucking great at this gimmick. Agreed, he's really found himself here - I kinda hope he wins the US Title though he's won too many matches recently for that to be realistic.
  8. I hope lack of footage rights doesn't stop Finlay and one or two others making the WWE Hall of Fame. I am amazed that HHH hasn't gone after the rights actually; they can't be that expensive. Kilby is probably a stretch, but he's alive, Finlay could induct him, he's probably not going to go over time on his acceptance speech and it would probably generate some positive publicity to induct a 'differently abled' wrestler. He was a great babyface and most of his matches are at least fun. Kilby could lipread and so I imagine there was some communication that way, but probably not that much because those guys worked pretty hard to protect the business back then.
  9. This is remains a very strange start to the Premier League. Liverpool seem to have been a bit unlucky vis a vis playing on form teams, but I'm still not overconfident about their chances against QPR. Hoping Mario uses the occasion to get some confidence; we need to hand Redknapp his ass. If we can do that, I remain bullish about Champions League football next season.
  10. The funny thing is that up until a few days ago, Orton was at least one of the guys Cena could face and be mostly cheered. That's probably over now, and if this match ends with anything other than a RKO #OutOfNowhere then the fans are going to shit on Cena. Will be interesting to see if/how they work with this.
  11. Alan Kilby worked matches in the 21st century as well. UK wrestler Majik once answered this on a forum with 'If he wants to throw you, you get thrown'.
  12. I know who that is~! Not a big deal, but they were of course both on NXT Season 4.
  13. Dean used the GlamSlam on the indys, so it's not a big jump.
  14. The fact that Cole never ate one from Lawler was a disgrace.
  15. You're way behind on finishers...Paige is now using a Cradle DDT. And Dean Ambrose has dropped the Headlock Driver, he's using a Double-Arm DDT now. So it is ECW all over again where every worker is using some variation of a DDT or a piledriver. Paige was having trouble making the Paige Turner look good with everyone, and similar story for Dean. Random question - do people think HHH will ever pass on the Pedigree?
  16. I don't expect Ziggler never to lose, and I think the Orton match slightly helped him if anything - but jobbing him out twice in a week is OTT. I wish they hadn't just switched the Dirty Deeds name to his new finish, it's a dumb name. Dirty Deeds would be a good name for the Shelley/Rayne skullfucker or something, but not for a single move that isn't dirty. Just call it the Unstabler or Dean's Death Trap or something.
  17. I've been involved in projects which are drastically underfunded and overambitious, so I can kinda relate to him here. The TNA stuff is Corny vs Russo redux, the ROH stuff is kinda more Corny enters the corporate middle management world. As I say, I can relate.
  18. He doesn't mention Republians iirc, but yeah on the other bit, I didn't say everything he said was fair and balanced, it is what it is - I enjoy Cornette's rants.
  19. Morgan probably could have learnt the physical intimidation stuff from the right people. Mean Mark Callous wasn't that intimidating. Ken Doane was a good call by Corny, it just didn't really pan out because he was given too much too soon. WWE now has a policy of not putting people on the main roster before they're at least 21 - this is apparently why Paige wasn't called up sooner. Ken Doane is still only 28! Very little of the ROH stuff he talks about relates to booking anyway, it's more about the PPV fuckups than anything else.
  20. It kind of amuses me how they shake their asses at the crowd, but then try to get heel heat by not shaking their asses at the crowd. They kind of need to choose.
  21. Jim Cornette going batshit about ROH is great if you're into...Jimmy going batshit about things.
  22. Oh FFS. The way they cut out of that segment was terrible; why would we want not want to see the aftermath? How can that be justified? They could have cut the 'Angle bollocks MVP bit' or The Beautiful People's entrance or something.
  23. Now now gentlemen, no means no. I did find out there were ScarJo nude shots though, and she cool wit it.......
