Sting retires, Danielson goes part time, Mox goes on vacations with his built up PTO. Instead of the Smackdown Six, who do we have as the Elite Eight in the next year or two? The wrestlers To y Khan will revolve his main programs around.

Which is sad. He really lost his funk over the years. Early on he had such a dynamic personality of over the top selling and zaniness. kind of like how Juice Robinson has such a wild demeanor. Hopefully he can get his groove back.

I was a WWF kid. I hated Hogan and Goldberg. I could not deny how cool Sting was though. NWO was just a bunch of old guys trying to be DX (lol) but Sting was a legitimate dream opponent for the Undertaker. Outside of the cool luchadors in the video games, Sting was the only thing WCW had going for it in the eyes of a child.

5 if you include the CHIKARA match. For fun though, I mentally look at the recent 3 as a trilogy. But all in all they play into an interesting overall narrative. Even with the Claudio distraction in their first match is pretty interesting to think about with the eventual BCC connection to Danielson.
If we added the 2 other matches to the really cool twitter post @AxB posted then we’d have
CHIKARA 2010 - Danielson on top of his game mostly dominating a brawling excellent leg selling Kingston. Claudio distracts Eddie which causes the loss.
AEW 2021 - Hard hitting match where Danielson chokes out Kingston while Eddie is still flipping him off. Sets up the disrespect in the 2023 matches.
When AEW is at its best, I really love the in-ring storytelling.

I’ll need to rewatch BCC vs FTR. I was kind of in and out with stuff going on. But what I saw was good stuff.

I had a lot of fun with this show. Too excited to give we’ll thought out write ups.
Kingston vs Danielson had me wiggling throughout. I loved Eddie’s arm getting worked over. My MOTN but likely has been emotionally beaten by the Main.
Cinnabon vs Bruv was maximalist excellence. I got worried for Ospreay with the weird corner bump, but he seemed alright.
Evil Cowboy. I like it. ALL HAIL CHAMPION JOE.
Main Event was beautiful and brutal. I loved his sons being there. The Young Bucks were perfect. Such pieces of shit and willing to bump and play sleaze-bags. Sting was perfect and Daby is too crazy. Such a great send off.
LOL at the cut off point. I don’t blame AEW for that. PPV company gonna PPV company. We’ll get it on Dynamite or YouTube.

And now, I've just found out that NJPW is doing copyright strikes on youtube for things still in draft format, which I've never seen before. Usually you have to make them at least "unlisted" or "private" for that to happen but you can still upload them and watch them on your phone if they're in "draft" format. So that's going to hinder my watching most likely. I'll keep poking at it but I expect my burner account to go down shortly as two strikes popped up out of nowhere.
