  1. WCW did this on Sunday's with The Main Event on TBS for a few years also.
  2. I watched some of the ppv and thought the RVD gimmick is very ECW but RVD is the last guy I would expect to be pulling that off. RVD stoner ladies man in 2020. I saw a tweet also that many in Beyond Wrestling were also sick. Good to see the ppv go off without a hitch.
  3. I think it will be Ronda. The casual fan will be shocked. I wouldn't mind Ember winning it if she is healthy. Ember/Becky would be fun on a bigger stage.
  4. Tonight's show should be good. Bash at the Beach. Maybe we get the Dark Order beating down on the Bucks only for Adam Page to come out and have JR exclaim "BUT WHO'S SIDE IS HE ON TONY?!!"
  5. I thought of this as sign stealing as in someone points at the Wrestlemania sign and is distracted/rolled up and pinned. I like your version though.
  6. Is Renee on a Fox contract like Punk or is hers still considered WWE?
  7. I didn't know about the injury and thought that Impact was just being Impact and jobbing him on the way out the door. Cage-Wardlow could be fun. Cage-Hager also.
  8. I know Sami has always spat on people during his matches but the spots where he did it to Tessa made me wonder if it was because of the recent events. Also the match wasn't bad but damn did Sami telegraph everything with the "thumbs up thumbs down" garbage. 3 times at least he did the thumbs down only to be countered. It was overkill. Wasn't a bad show, have to wonder how long she keeps the tile for though.
  9. Delirious had a strange booking style. Until Mandy Leon you really couldn't say he booked his friends in high positions. Hell most of the Chikara guys he is friends with barely got booked in ROH if at all. Funny note though, if you have Honor Club the login screen still has the Kenny Omega video wall for the background. You'd think they would have changed that by now.
  10. Never spent a penny on used gear. I do however have Masks given to me by Ultimo Dragon, Caristico, and Rey Buccanero. Try harder next time Ryan
  11. Jay White worked a show out here while on excursion. He worked Jonathan Gresham and it was one of the top live matches I've ever seen. Jay was really down to earth as well.
  12. I don't know her at all. I've been going to shows on the East coast since about 2002. I've met a ton of great workers and a ton of people who nobodies heard of but should be known as great workers. Guys like Jimmy Demarco (ask Rob Naylor about him) and Jimmy Vegas who should have been big names. Or guys like the Mane Event who are starting to get noticed. they will be on Sam Adonis's February show and recently had a tryout at the performance center. I'm not sure how often shows run near you in England, but here we could essentially go to a show or 2 each weekend. Obviously the quality will range but the shows are there.
  13. Retromania?? I don't think the demos are out to play yet. Haven't heard of any NWA games but Retromania is based off of the Wrestlefest series.
  14. RJ City is a gem. He's someone who can work face or heel and have the building in the palm of his hands. I'm surprised he hasn't been in ROH, NXT, Impact, AEW, or Beyond by now. Solid worker and his twitter is gold.
  15. I'm a guy and actually was at NXT Friday night. Decent show.
  16. considering I've booked and worked with many, just had dinner with 2 today . I hear tons of stories wanted and unwanted.
  17. everything about Britt that I said was true. AEW is realizing it too. Nothing I've said is odd. I've worked for multiple promotions and seen more crazy female fans than male. But you do you Craig
  18. something that may come of this is you may see some females flat out refusing to work with Tessa because of this. I think this is going to hurt Tessa more than many think. How many other promotions are going to follow suit?
  19. basically my point is, she will do far worse for money than pose with a fan for a pic. This actually made me think of a pretty valid point. Who do you think gets creepier requests the male wrestlers or the female? I've seen plenty of crazy female fans that have practically bowled over wrestlers to get pics. I'd think most male fans would be respectful at least at shows. None of the female wrestlers I know have ever told me of any creepy requests from a male fan, but I've heard crazy things from some of the guy workers. It may be we don't hear more of the stories because the guys have no need to post them. Better question, is anyone ordering the ppv?
  20. Impact Wrestling is really "crossing the line" now aren't they?
  21. July 1988 WWF Old School, funny tidbit, the Rockers come out to the ring to face the conquistadors. They use the Ultimate Warrior theme song for the Rockers. Funny watching Shawn and Marty run out full speed to Warrior's music.
  22. it wasn't just that though she went up to the promoter and said "I don't want anyone touching me in the photo's: something to that aspect. I will say the show was in a pretty bad part of town but it made me curious as to if this is something she says at all bookings. The water thing was odd too and I wish I could remember what kind it was.
