  1. Ranallo apparently had the night off so that he could attend Kevin Randleman's funeral.
  2. Brie Bella's line delivery when facing off against Charlotte was reminiscent of a rudimentary text-to-speech application with an "angry" setting.
  3. Dude, it's a great narrative they're building here. Such a classic story of redemption and self-actualization when Dean Ambrose overcomes the backing of the fans to lose to Brock and Reigns at Fastlane. What more can you want?
  4. My girlfriend looked up from her phone to audibly LOL @ Naomi's "kick rush". Fucking hell.
  5. I've noticed that many online joshi fans seem to be kind of dismissive towards OZ Academy. I have to say, although I recognize Stardom as the superior promotion in-ring, I'm actually way more invested in the angle between Mission K4 and the veterans than just about anything else going on in wrestling. It's got that car-crash appeal reminiscent of ECW, even if it often becomes annoying to see Police interfere and subsequently oversell (for no apparent reason) in all of Ozaki's matches.
  6. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Prophetic wisdom as usual from Fight Professor Craig Hudak. Leap forward and throw a big hook and grind out fights against the cage, what stellar, attractive traits to look for in your favorite fighter.
  7. Also, a manager who failed to notably improve upon what Van Gaal and Heynckes had achieved before him at Bayern.
  8. But listen to THE WWE UNIVERSE cheer for ROMAN, Maggle!
  9. You only know Rob Gronkowski because he's Mojo's friend? That definitely qualifies as the "wrestling bubble". Or the "not American" bubble, which is bigger than you might think.
  10. Hey look at that, Dana's latest over-hyped golden boy taps in his first remotely-competitive matchup.
  11. No, it's far better to just be pedantic instead of responding to the actual issue, which you also highlighted. Or better yet, you can just say whatever bullshit Zheroen said, which is par for the course for that guy too. In any event, the actual video in question was a YouTube video put up on the official WWE channel. They're already going through the effort of taking a clip from whatever non-linear editing software they're using, one that would have tracks for the other feeds occurring at that same time, because that's part of how NLE works. It takes seconds to trim out the clip you want to save and then upload to YouTube. This particular point wasn't addressed. Yeah, being pedantic about a minor issue about which 99% give zero fucks is just the absolute WORST! Now instead of talking about the event, I'm going to whine about production choices that will be forgotten within 48 hours of event airing.
  12. Stro being stro. You really don't see the difference between editing during a PPV and uploading footage as is without editing as soon as show is over? God you are such a troll. Don't worry Rippa, I know, ignore list. Jesus Christ when did this place get so soft. OMG YOU DON'T AGREE WITH EVERYTHING I SAY I MUST IGNORE YOU shit. Could be worse, Craig H could be reporting you because his delicate sensibilities were hurt by a screenshot of a woman.
  13. The NHL is a joke, and has been essentially since Bettman was appointed commissioner. You'll get no arguments from me on that. My issue is with the overwrought emotional bleating about how poor John Scott deserves that money and how him being in the game would have made it somehow more interesting.
  14. I'm not "working hard" to defend this, I'm just genuinely curious as to why anyone is so worked up over the prospect of seeing a shitty player get lit up by the league's elite in a game that means nothing, for the prospect of a financial bonus in the event of a win. Which his presence on the ice for said team drastically decreases the chances of him receiving, because HE ISN'T VERY GOOD. This "PLAYING HARD" of which you speak, are you referring to this? Or maybe this? I'll bet you'd be totally okay with this joke of a player if he concussed a skill-player like Tarasenko during this glorified exhibition, right? Because he actually cares! And the fans voted him in (as a total joke, which is why it came to this)! The Coyotes asked him to step down, he refused. Do you think that was wise, considering that he is a marginal player who is lucky to be in the NHL at all? Here's a wild idea - maybe if John Scott wanted to earn more money, he should have worked harder to become a better player and earned a selection on merit. And not went against the express wishes of his employer. What's actually insane is catching feelings and frothing at the mouth over a trade of a player who has made no positive contribution to the sport in any fashion, except to stoke your RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE.
  15. Was anyone seriously going to watch the All-Star Game specifically because John Scott was selected? What exactly is it about seeing a middling defenceman playing in an exhibition game against players of a much higher skill level that interests you so much, El Dragon? Considering that Scott had been waived/demoted multiple times already over the course of this season before any of this, is his being traded and subsequently demoted to the AHL something that would not have likely happened anyway? This isn't some talented worker being buried under a glass ceiling, it's a mediocre hockey player experiencing something that happens to mediocre hockey players all the time. This one just happened to have been voted into the All-Star game for the lulz because fans on the internet thought it would be funny to engage in shenanigans akin to writing "Deez Nuts" on their high school class president election ballot. It's not "horrible shit", it's business as usual in the NHL. The All-Star game is inconsequential, to be sure, but so is John Scott.
  16. Your second sentence is essentially bang-on what I'm talking about: he was a joke entry for a spectacle about which no one actually gives a damn. He's a mediocre-to-nothing shit of a goon, who was lucky to be in the league to begin with. Fuck him, along with the tiresome "but the fans!" (who were obviously just trolling in the first place) sentimentality that has caused this non-event to even become a talking point deemed worthy of discussion.
  17. Well, I mean...if his own team gives so little credence to Scott being worthy of an All-Star game appearance so as to trade him away for nothing, why should anyone else?
  18. I'm actually relatively-okay with drawing away against Stoke. Walcott didn't offer much, and Oxlade-Chamberlain flattered-to-deceive (as per the usual). Özil being back for Chelsea should see a return of the cutting edge that was lacking.
  19. If you've been watching Big E's ass shake recently, he's obviously trying to fix that "untapped" thing. explain
