    2024 NFL Draft

I didn't think it was possible to find a more thin skinned owner than Richie Rich Daniel Synder. Well David Tepper is surpassing that in droves. I guess it could have been much worse at least he didn't have a drink in his hand
  2. Maybe I haven't been paying that much attention but that seems to be only a British thing. Luckily I haven't seen any TNA or indie shows where people are doing that. If that does start in AEW, they need to somehow tied it with Marina Shafir throwing her socks into the crowd before the match
  3. You can really tell who is deep in the wrestling tribalism by how pissed off they are that Tony Khan wore a neck brace at the draft last night

    2024 NFL Draft

Only 3 picks away. Someone tell Tony Khan to put his neck brace on BOOO the Vikings took all the fun and traded up The Rams Draft watch party had maybe 500 people. Maybe they aren't used to doing anything on Thursday and forgot

    2024 NFL Draft

Man the Broncos may have no choice and have to draft Bo Nix. Which is a reach at 12 Yep. I mean at least he is better than Zack Wilson

    2024 NFL Draft

Business just picked up in Atlanta. Now Kirk Cousins knows what RG3 felt Oh lord is JJ McCarthy going to the Jets? Hasn't that boy suffered enough with Jim Harbaugh. Oh never mind here comes the Vikings

    2024 NFL Draft

Have no problem with this to be honest. I mean you can't draft a QB who was built around such a great core that he didn't have to do much to a team that literally has nothing to work with. The Falcons have to be salivating right now. Although the Titans could use a QB too
  9. Al Bundy playing Donald Sterling is certainly a choice I can get behind

    2024 NFL Draft

Yeah it seems to be a race between Albert Breer and NFL to see who can spoil the picks first. Nothing surprising so far and don't expect one from the Cardinals and Chargers. The good thing about Harrison going to the Cardinals is that if Kyler starts fucking around both Harrison's will have no problem having him find out

    2024 NFL Draft

Goddell being booed by hundreds of thousands of people at the draft. A tradition unlike any other
  12. According to Schefter, AJ Brown signed a 3 year $96 million extension that includes $84 million guaranteed.

    2024 NFL Draft

Wait you have a strong WR core even before you got Diggs and going for Harrison? I smell BS on that
  14. The other thing that worries me a bit besides the history of awful authority figure angles is that I remember heel Tony Khan in IMPACT a couple years ago when Omega was the champ. That got old very quick
  15. Tony's involvement or increased involvement in this is going to be based on the ratings. If they can get momentum in terms of ratings and fan interest without Tony they will probably not use them. But if this starts to die I have to think they will go back to the tired old wrestling well and use more Tony. Or even worse a worse "authority figure" While I am sure people will say that showing the Punk All In Footage was only used to build the match against FTR, it was obviously done as a rating ploy and a look at me Louie moment. There is a reason it was announced within an hour of the Night 1 WM main event. It worked once. Hell maybe it will work again. Again my biggest issues is that it is another company who thinks they can do the authority figure angle better than the WWE and almost always does the same shit. And the reality is that except for Austin the authority figure angle in WWE sucked. To the people who say "people are just being negative because it is AEW", I don't have any issue with the show before it. Thought the show before was really good.
  16. Yeah I have seen this game in wrestling before and unfortunately after the first time it has been awful every time. I mean what is next an authority figure that will probably turn heel 6 weeks later. Tony Khan coming back and becoming Mr. Khan who ends up being a heel eventually. People acting like this a great way to get him off TV completely haven't watched a ton of wrestling. Or you watch the best version only and was blissfully ignorant. At least the wrestling is still damn good. Just hope we don't see less it. The only thing that gives me any hope on this tired ass angle is that Shad Khan will look at this shit and say to calm down.
  17. damn it Boston why are you this way in the playoffs.
  18. I am sure there are people who will say that they knew everything about Sherri and nothing is really new but this feels like the episode where we learned more about someone well know then before. Well except for Chris Colt but he wasn't on the fame level as Martel. The early part of her career I had really no idea about. The first recollection I have of Sherri was that video someone from here or PWO posted of her in the crowd from what I assume was late 70's. No idea she was in the business in 1974. No idea she was a stripper before that. So the theory that the wrestling business caused her issues isn't necessarily true except for the Soma part. Didn't know about her kids and the issues he had It is interesting if the story is true who were the people that basically told Sherri ex husband that she is part of their business now and leave her alone. I don't think they mentioned the time line so it would either be Memphis guys or Leroy McQuirk guys. I wonder if JR would have any information on that It is strange how they completely ignored Sherri's return back to WWE after she was fired from WCW. Actually forgot that she worked SMW. Also kind of glossed over the HOF speech as "her speaking her mind" and not the general belief that she was either drunk or on pills. Yeah not one of Bischoff best episodes in terms of perception. I am sure that he will just blame it on Meltzer if Conrad talks about it
  19. At the very least he is a main eventer at Deadlock Pro given their location. But I would think TNA would be interested
  20. If you lived or know someone who lived in the Niagara Falls area between basically until the early 80's, I would recommend a documentary on PBS American Experience called Poisoned Ground about an area called Love Canal that was living near a landfill which was a dump by Hooker Chemical of chemicals as far back as the late 50's. The blizzard of 1977 and the cleanup really exposed to everyone how awful it was even though every one near them could smell and see the waste. For three or four years, a group of women fought with everyone in New York agencies to get these people out of the area because of the large number of diseases , miscarriages, and even death. Very frustrating to watch to see how the the entire area was fucked over and disregarded as having "housewife data" that was eventually proven by the experts.
  21. That lisp of his was so bad that he was almost hard to decipher. Which led to the classic CUM TOOTHDAY meme that people are still using. Going from Kyle O Reilly to Robert Stone was a huge upgrade in being able to promote himself
  22. And Embiid gets hurt already in Game 1. In other news water is wet. Although he is out there for the 2ndd half. Let's see how long this lasts Love seeing my man Duece Mcbride blowing up. Been waiting to show people he should be starting more
  23. It will also test how much of a viewership NXT really gets if that is the case. Most people now perceive quick Goldberg like wins as them hiding his ability in the ring. That is what they think of Jade and they aren't really wrong. While Bron isn't ready for some 30 minute main event like match, we all know he can have a banger 15 minute
  24. Who in the hell is Jacoby Watts? I don't recognize him anyway. Although to be fair I barely recognize Nick Comoroto either with this new look of his
  25. The rise in exposure to the WNBA and women's college basketball in the last 3 months has really exposed how incredibly awkward men are toward not only dealing with women in sports but women in general. Here is Greg Doyel proving the point When the Barstool guy is calling you a pervert and he may actually be right, you know you messed up badly
