So OC v Hager was specially designed to troll Jim Cornette right? Anyway the factory comes out, and the lights go out ITS THAT WHITCH JULIA GHOULIA READY TO REAP SOULS AND DESTROY MINDS!' HOB WITH THE SATANIC MAGICK ATTACK!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmxKGT-3FdU&ab_channel=CenturyMediaRecords 3 way tag featured zero ripcord lariets by Hayter so I rate it zero stars No home town advantage for The Elite Pac may have started the fire but Penta brings the hammer for the win! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ri6fs5X-398&ab_channel=MetalForThePeople Good lord that main event! So did Ishii open him up or did Jericho blade? anyway check another awesome thing off the list for The Ocho!

I wonder if it was less Punk had an office job and more he was starting to get TK's ear and that what helped feed some of this stuff @Elsalvajeloco I haven't seen a ton of mid 90's WWF (aside from some of the bigger Bret/Shawn matches) so I glossed over M.O.M. but the act feels very "middle aged white guy watched Yo MTV raps" twice to learn about hip hop

LARIETTOOOOOO (Ishii's sliding lariet is almost as cool as Hayter's rip cord but not quite) When the super likable Ruby got booed against Strat I read it as the Fans saying "We like the new toys but doing forget about the Day one folks in the process" I think that's kinda happening with other acts as well

Depends on the length of the show, after a certain point Im gonna want real food I was thinking about this. For a long time Rap/Black culture was treated very disrespectfully. Either White guys doing gimmicks for laughs (Akeem doing afrecentic, Too Cool being white Bboys, PN News being a bad rapper) or Vince having Slick and Flash Funk being kinda pimps beofre going whole hog with The godfather. Crime Time had young african american men doing a hip hop inspired gimmick but still had problematic stealing bit. Now you have Swerve, Acclaimed, Street Profits, and Private Party doing Hip Hop themed gimmicks that feels authentic similar to how Brody King and Malaki Black feel authentic to Hardcore/Metal as opposed to Van Hammer

If Vince had any knowledge of culture we could have had that for doink -
I'd be interested in hearing about AEW's actual demographics. Particularly do they skew younger than the competition, I feel I see a lot of kids at the shows but that could be confirmation bias

I wonder if this Jade v Bow Wow stuff is gonna lead to another mixed tag I want this to be the beginning of Main Event Keith Lee. Keith Lee going around cleaning up Malarky! He should get his own version of The Lex Express if only such a bus could be procured!
-
The real main event! (Also no pic of you in the Stone Pitbull shorts?)

Hemlsely starts his cage match against Mankind with a dead sprint to the door -
The Duh answer is work more off camera matches. This is kinda hard with the death of house shows. But I'd have her working longer competitive matches at indys and treat those as "non canon" while keeping here as Goldberg on tv. Between Jade and Rick Ross AEW seems to really be getting traction on black/hip hop twitter. Maybe they've tapped an underserved market

Only issue is that this is pretty similar, to MJF's feuds with Wardlow and Jericho
-
Kinda reminds me of the Buff v Lex feud in WCW where Buff kept getting these cheap wins, CO over the top rope DQ ect

I wonder if we run back Joe v Wardlow at Final battle, with Wardlow getting the ROH strap?
-
CONSTANTLY!!! His whole gimmick revolved around the necessity of a fresh outfit! That and GTL! Gym, Tan laundry!
