Goddamn the weather here SUCKS. It's fucking freezing and its alternating between rain, sleet and snow. The Stanford kids are thinking WTF.

I totally realize I'm a huge homer for Notre Dame and think most of their games are worth watching, but I think the Stanford game tomorrow is going to be a very interesting one to watch just to see how much of a factor the weather plays. The weather here has been total shit all day. It just stopped raining within the last 30 minutes, but the rain should be picking back up and will continue rain into and throughout tomorrow. Not only that, but the high tomorrow is 45 and windy. So cold as shit, windy, and totally soggy.

The book is pretty damn good, though. My girlfriend was like, "I'm going to know the exact moment when you get to the part I want you to get to because you're going to lose your shit and tell me." She was right. Soooooo fucking pumped for this. In David Fincher we trust...well, except for that Fight Club comic book sequel he and Chuckie P are working out. That thing sounds so dumb.

This game is baffling and one of the Giant Bomb dudes is experiencing the same thing as me. I think a lot of people are, actually. I'm not the most loot driven person when it comes to games and I fucking hate doing "runs." It's why I couldn't stick with Diablo 2 and why WoW got so boring. Doing runs and farming bores the shit out of me. For some reason this game has me hooked and damn near addicted. I just want to get that next piece of gear, find that next Engram, earn that next rank, etc. I have done that Earth strike so many times now, but I keep doing it. I think the reason why I'm not reluctant to do that run, or others, is because while it's repetitive, it isn't tedious. There is a tangible kind of joy I get from smashing the shit out of enemies in PvE, the same kind I got from being Master Chief and fucking up dudes with him.

More than halfway to achieving my level 2 Crucible rank. Fuck this shit takes forever. Same goes for the Queen's bullshit. You have to be her stupid errand boy earning shit while you do it. Only thing I haven't done is a Queen's Wrath mission because I can't solo that shit. Other than that, I'm doing about 4 bounties of hers each day and I so far away from rank 2. Argh...

When Charlie Hunnam was on the Nerdist podcast, he spoke of trying to get one developed and it did indeed sound awesome. The way he described his life was incredibly fascinating. Fuck all of the Dracula shit, don't even acknowledge it, just do a hardcore Vlad movie that covers his history, his brother's history, and their father's history.
