  1. You can't say it because it would require you admitting that Sasha isn't the best ever at everything of all time. btw, I thought of more women with better resumes than Sasha. You know, since the company had enough faith in them to allwo them at least one successful title defense on the main roster. Paige AJ Lee Ivory Jacqueline Molly Holly Asuka Becky Lynch Michelle McCool Mickie James Victoria Bull Nakano Wendi Richter Moolah Melina Eve Torres Natalya Chyna There's no objective measure that puts Sasha over the level of any of these women. And that's BEFORE you take into account the botches that have cost her ring time and ended Paige's career, the multiple broken noses she purposefully inflicted on Alexa Bliss because Sasha decided she and she alone was qualified to determine who was worthy of being in nxt and who wasn't, and the outbursts backstage. But she doesn't have to play by the same rules as everyone, right?
  2. No, because people have done that multiple times, and it's still a "bu-bu-bu- instagram!" response with you. And again, you make no attempt to counter the criticisms made. You just spout off subjective nonsense. But, since you asked, here's a list of five better; Charlotte Bayley Trish Madusa Beth Phoenix. These are just the first five off the top of my head, and aren't in any particular order. She isn't special. She's just another in a long series of acts that got lost in translation once they started playing to actual audiences that weren't just gathered to celebrate how "in the know" they are. And none of the "bests" you listed change that. Sorry.
  3. I thought Rowan did a nice job with his promo. Not a show-stopper, but solid, and his delivery was believable. All I can ask for. I hope Nikki and Alexa are women's tag champs forever. Really fun interactions with them. Mandy and Sonya have come a million miles. Are we still teasing a lesbian angle ith them or did that get dropped? Chad Gable is rapidly moving up the list of my favorite workers. Just fantastic stuff. New Day has to get some heat back at some point. Starting to just make them look weak. Elias had his working boots on. Ali has been a revelation.
  4. FTR, you get shit for your fandom bc you say delusional things like "Sasha is a top 5 female in ring of all time." And then when people rightfully call you on what a ludicrous statement that is, you point to nonsense like how many instagram followers she has as some sort of excuse for her behavior offscreen while refusing to even address the salient points others make about the many negatives Sasha brings to the table. I'm as big a Bayley fan as you will find anywhere, but I can willingly admit there was a BIG lull in her career where I thought she probably deserved to get released. She got lazy in the ring and became actively bad. I'm happy she's had her resurgence, as she is a talented worker and works hard to improve her promos, but I am under no illusions that the criticisms others have voiced here about her are just because people don't like me or her. That's the difference, and that's why so many people give you shit for your "fandom." You refuse to admit that Sasha the character and/or Mercedes the worker are in any way less than transcendent, when that is nowhere near the case. She's had great moments, and she's had truly awful ones. Same as everyone on the roster. But sitting out for four months because she didn't get her way should be brought up whenever the discussion of whether or not she deserves a top spot is broached. It's unprofessional and points to a severe lack of maturity. And, since you ignored it before, I'll say it here too; I don't find her character believable. She's Vivica A. Fox, wagging her head and sassily finger pointing because it's how she thinks urban young women are supposed to express attitude. There's nothing at all "legit" about her character. I've lived in and around Atlanta my entire life, and I know what "wanna be hood" looks like, and Sasha is the poster child. That's why I don't see value in her character, not some imaginary "me and sasha vs the world" scenario that you've cooked up in your head.
  5. You're about the last guy who gets to rag on anyone for "trash takes."
  6. I would attribute some of that reaction to the night’s overall arc, too. That was the night Roman announced his leukemia.
  7. I still wholeheartedly reject the notion that one can “deserve” anything in a worked sport. But if one could, one wouldn’t earn said push by pouting at home for four months.
  8. Blah blah blah. Too many head bounces and Cardi-B-esque hand movements to be authentic. In the words of Triumph the insult comic dog, she’s about as gangster as an Easter bonnet. She’s not “the boss.” She’s an intern playing pretend while the real boss is on vacation, sitting behind a desk that’s too big for her and barking into a phone that no one’s on the other end of. And that’s before we mention the onesie that I’m pretty sure she bought off the rack as a “grandmas couch” Halloween costume. On her best day she’s a mediocre worker and a wanna-Be gangster. Pass.
  9. The Bayley turn was fun. Sometimes things that are telegraphed still work. I'm sorry, but I just don't find the whole "BOSS" thing believable. Sasha has talent, but I don't believe her promos. At all. Because I don't really think she believes them. She's a gamer nerd from Boston pretending to be hood. I'm from Atlanta, and she wouldn't last a week here. And her secondhand figure skating onesie from last night didn't help matters. I'm glad we didn't have "triple threat" rules in 1995, because that time limit draw between Michaels and Kama would've led to them going into a 3 way with King Mabel, and I don't think anyone wants to see that. Rollins is boring. Every week he gets asked to do ten+ minute segments, and every week he brings the show to a screeching halt. There are five better choices on RAW to be top guy, but still they insist on captain flippydoo. Hopefully Strowman ends this madness. Wyatt is so far above everything else happening right now. Holy cow. I like the Roode/Ziggler thing.
  10. Y'all forgot Ambrose finally getting his hands on Rollins and Daniel Bryan cashes in. The Carmella one was good, too...
  11. I think about that Ambrose/HHH match at Fastlane right before 'Mania. How cool would it have been to have Ambrose win the title there and then do Reigns/Ambrose at 'Mania with a hot crowd? Save the Reigns heel turn for the next night when he lays Ambrose out on Raw.. Maybe have the Rollins cash-in. Now Ambrose is even more over as a babyface because (in theory) fans want to see him get his hands on the guy(s) who screwed him. But WWE would rather have a tepid babyface that they anointed than a guy who got over on his own. We've seen that a bunch of times.
  12. I still think their handling of Ambrose/Moxley is more egregious than either of the other two shield guys. They had a babyface who acted like a babyface, albeit an eccentric one, who was at least pretty over with most of the demographics they were trying to service, and they had him do goofy shit while Reigns and Rollins floundered. Rollins can't promo, and they shoved him out to drone on at the top of every show. Roman got over in the Shield by spearing the shit out of people and never talking, and then the day after they broke the Shield up they expected us to believe he was ready. And it STILL might've worked if not for all that weird shit they did after that with Sheamus/MITB and that Royal Rumble where he got wheeled out and we were supposed to feel sorry for him. That night killed him. Having League of Nations destroy him and then him making the "Cena comeback" later on was just so contrived. They actually got it right the year before. He eliminated a bunch of dudes and looked unfuckwithable. So of course by the next year he was a standard issue babyface. The failure on WWE's end regarding Reigns is multifold.
  13. This. Neither of those guys could really take a clean pin without impairing their momentum. This way Mox gets to come in like a house of fire and Omega & PAC can do good shit.
  14. BlissCross is great and has brought the women's tag titles to relevancy after the first couple champs were pretty lackluster. The Revival would be scarier if they weren't in the Lollipop Guild, but FTRKO is pretty decent. Woods sold that like he got shot. Well done. Sasha's delivery was pretty rancid. I'm sure I'll ruffle some feathers in CT, but I've seen fake sass before, and nothing about her delivery made me believe she's the "legit boss." All that head wagging doesn't fool me. I'm from Atlanta. Oh good. More Seth Rollins. Maybe the natural charisma of Strowman will offset the hot trashitude of Rollins.
  15. I listen. I don’t give a shit what the other side has to say, but I listen. Wait, that’s hearing. No, I don’t listen...
  16. You're absolutely right. Not only that, but I'd have him win the Rumble as described above and then only see him in the Funhouse until 'mania. MAYBE he shows up at Fastlane/Roadblock/HOVlane/Carpoolonly or whatever that show is and faces down the champ. Then he destroys whoever the champ is in a matter of a couple minutes.
  17. Bayley mentioned in an interview that Asuka gives pretty severe receipts for getting stuffed. I know that that’s Kairi, but it wouldn’t shock me to learn she did the same thing. If I’m avoiding concussions, I’m erring on the side of caution when it comes to throwing strikes.
  18. I used to work out at the same gym as Chris when he was home. I saw him do things at his size and weight that made me wondering if he was shooting up Captain America serum. I could (and have) told stories...
  19. Saw it mentioned a couple pages back, but my outside wrestling hobbies are training Muay Thai, going to Braves baseball games, chillin’ with the wife and my nieces, and movies and stuff. I also collect funko pop! And Wwe Mattel’s...
  20. A loaded glove would be a hell of an idea for her, actually.
  21. I didn't say I wanted her with the belt. I have serious problems with the way Alexa is presented, starting with why I'm supposed to believe that what may be the smallest closed fist in the entire company is enough to put the company's top women down. She should be throwing forearms and open hands. My entire point, and only point, really, is that I find Sasha Banks overrated in the ring and unprofessional both in her interactions with fellow talent and with sitting out for four months because she didn't get her way. She had a great run in nXt, but so did Tyler Breeze, and no one here is advocating for him as a top guy. I'm also frustrated with myself. EVERY time this comes up I swear I'm not going to get involved, and then I simply cannot help myself. I think my stance on the matter is clear. I can move on to bigger and better things, like how Seth Rollins is maybe the least charismatic "top guy" company history...
