Which one's more awesome, since they're both awesome?

There was a time when I would've been intrigued to see what Scorsese could do with The Rock. Now, I think we've got a big enough sample size to see that he's really not that great an actor, and I'm not optimistic about this movie.

So, there are many things to hate about those fucking Gronk/Sam Elliott USAA commercials, but there's this one small thing that bugs the fuck out of me every time I see it. It's the one where they're supposed to be shooting a commercial with Gronk directing (see, right there, another thing to hate!). At the end, Gronk says, "You're in!" and Elliott responds, "As a veteran, I'm already in.", but the emphasis on that sentence is off to me. I think he should say, "As a veteran, I'm already in.", but it's more flat. He doesn't emphasize any of the words of "I'm already in". Next time you see it, and dear god, you will see it again if you watch any sports at all, see if you notice what I'm talking about.

I used to eat at the Rax in Marion ALL THE TIME! We had so many little plastic alligator cups in our house from my little sister's kids meals. There's still one open in New Carlisle, OH. It's about three hours from me and I've seriously considered going there.

Would not have believed it if someone had told me that Barkley would basically get shut down and the Eagles would be winning, let alone in a blowout.

I don't know how widespread it is throughout the country, but here in Louisville, my kids are doing school from home because of the flu. Tons of teachers and students out with it. Multiple counties around us have done the same. It's spreading really fast.

Watched Perfect Days yesterday. Just a beautiful movie. It was perfect for a lazy Sunday morning where I could just vibe with it. Never thought a movie could make me want to go around Tokyo using restrooms.

I started buying up every Simple Minds record I’d find used a couple years ago. Very strong discography! I know they were big in their time, but I feel like they’re underrated now.

I don’t think anyone was saying otherwise.

I use streaming to allow me to preview what I may want to purchase physically. I mean, I have a few favorite artists that will get a preorder from me as soon as a new album is announced. For everything else, I stream, and if I like it, I buy the record or cassette. It's important to me to financially support artists when I can. I know things can go wrong with my equipment, but it's never been easier to find options to replace it or have it repaired. Plus, I just like having my stuff. It makes me happy.

Not an OSU fan at all, but I am glad to see the Big Ten be so successful this offseason. Might quiet some of the SEC whiners next year.

To be fair, that's probably the reason about 99% of people who watched that movie watched it.

I just watched Twin Peaks The Return over the last couple months. Might be the most "Lynchian" thing Lynch ever did. It took me a couple episodes to sort of attune myself to it's vibe. Once I did, I loved it. The Blank Check podcast just wrapped up a series on Lynch that I enjoyed a lot.

I'm excited at the prospect of some new blood stepping up for the AFC, but also this creeping dread that it's just going to be KC again. At least, in the past, KC teams were fun to watch.
