  1. If Hangman is out of the match, I really think it makes sense for a Swerve win. Being injured and missing a title match AND your hated rival getting the win because (in your mind) you weren't there to prevent it can push him further over the edge. Also, when Osprey/Takeshita was announced, my literal first thought was "Matt D's gonna hate this."
  2. Wasn’t Alexander a big D’Amore guy? Might make sense why he wants out.
  3. WWE fans won’t care. He can come back next week and he’ll get a huge pop and everyone will be talking about how cool it is that he’s doing wrestling when he doesn’t really need to.
  4. He was a trainer for OVW for a long time. He was also helping out in some capacity in Derby City Wrestling when it was running. Not sure what he’s currently up to. He’s fun to talk wrestling with because he apparently has a photographic memory. I mentioned a date that Poffo’s ICW did at my hometown high school in the early 80’s and he busted out the exact date and the card.
  5. A hair vs. hair match with two bald guys and one that's well on his way would be something.
  6. I haven't seen if they've announced any other last-minute matches for tonight. But, due to there not being much else announced, I have a sneaking suspicion that the BCC/FTR match may go long.
  7. And here we thought George Castanza making the Yankees wear cotton uniforms was bad.
  8. I do like that this Bucks heel turn (Were they faces before? I honestly can't recall.) has given the Sting/Darby match some actual heat. I would've been fine with them facing someone like FTR with the idea of having a "good match" for Sting to go out on, but I personally kind of like the bad guys trying to ruin his last match thing better. Now, would I like it more if it was someone besides the Bucks? Possibly. But, I'm cool with it if it was Sting's choice.
  9. Generally liked this season of TD, but felt like (and this is rare for me) it needed 2-4 more episodes to tell the story they wanted to tell.
  10. One thing I like about the Bucks new character is the good cop/bad cop thing they’re doing with Nick/Matt (I’m a Matthew who prefers going by Matt, so suck it!). Nick is the “hothead” bad cop who jumps straight to punishment while Matt is the “calmer” good cop that’s still a dick but tries to project being nicer.
  11. Venture Brothers probably ruined the Fantastic 4 for me. If I see that movie, I’ll just be expecting the flame dude to be screaming in pain every time he lights up.
  12. It was never specifically mentioned that Travis was Rust’s dad. You can just put 2 and 2 together with them having the same last name and Rust mentioning that his dad was in Alaska in season one (I didn’t remember that, saw it pointed out elsewhere). Rust may have also mentioned that his dad had Leukemia at some point, too, but I’m not sure. Also, the Tuttle name that comes up as the company that owns the research lab, etc. is the same name as the villainous rich family in season one. I don’t think these things are anything more than Easter eggs for fans. It’s not going to lead to Rust showing up in the last episode to save someone and then they join forces to battle the Tuttles once and for all or any shit like that. I think it’s just sprinkling in some little things for fun.
  13. If he decided to fight this, that could be his defense. ”Your honor, I refer you to Exhibit A: my client’s entire season. Now, could any reasonable person say that this performance was enhanced?”
  14. Nope, nope, nope on the bolded part. You keep sharing when you feel like you need to.
  15. “Why can’t they just have nice wrestling matches where the boys just have fun and no one gets hurt!!?!” - my mom probably
  16. I can’t imagine a situation where a WWE scripted show is remotely watchable.
  17. Danielson/Ultimo Guerrero is pretty cool, too.
  18. No, I think they're saying Garcia is more in the Orange role where he's the star of the bunch with his friends (Menard and Parker) being the "loveable jobbers". Garcia wins championships, has major feuds, etc. while occasionally coming to the aid of his friends or teaming with them.
  19. Totally agree. I think Heenan may be the best overall performer in pro wrestling history. He was a great worker, heat magnet as a manager and one of the best on commentary to ever do it. It’s a real short list of people who were successful in so many different roles.
  20. I feel like The Rock practices smiling.
  21. If they'd have had to do the OT halftime, they has Sisqo* on standby to do a little show. *Was trying to think of who the poor-man's Usher would be.
  22. The commentators (and the ref during the coin toss) kept referring to OT as "a whole new game". So, no, I believe KC would've continued with that drive. Each team gets a full possession before it can end.
  23. The second Jumanji had Rock and Awkwafina both doing a Danny DeVito impression for most of the movie that sounded like neither of them had ever heard DeVito talk.
  24. Steve Austin’s Instagram is almost exclusively content with him and his barn cats Pancho and Lefty (well, mostly Pancho, as Lefty is pretty shy) and it’s adorable.
  25. The stuff he’s done while handcuffed looks brutal. But when you see what Darby does in his spare time, his wrestling bumps look pretty tame.
