Honestly, Impact might be the best place right now for a wrestler who you want to see have intriguing matchups. If your favorite is in Impact, you can conceivably see them against talent form every non-WWE wrestler in the world.

Bailey is wrestling Osprey and Ibushi on the same day and Vikingo the next day this month. I’m kind of digging him not being signed to WWE or AEW.

I may go as far as to say there's no one actively bad in-ring in any televised wrestling these days. WWE, AEW, Impact, ROH, MLW, on and on down the list have very talented rosters. I guess maybe that dude with the neck tattoos that teams with Swerve might be the exception.

One last nit pick on a show I liked... At the end, I don't buy Mox backing down from a fight with the Elite, even if they are outnumbered. The Mox character, as it's been established, would never back down from a fight.

I think the issue with Jade's streak is that, due to having only one or maximum two women's segments per show, you don't get time to build up a threat for her. Ideally, it would be great to be running someone climbing the ladder, getting more and more wins against tougher competition in a different segment of the show. Then, later, you can have her and Jade cross paths. I suppose this could be done on Dark/Elevation, but it'd be nice to have it running parallel on Dynamite/Rampage.

They should do a novel thing in wrestling where someone is friends with more than one group of people.

I think one of the keys to Succession is remembering that it's a comedy. It's an hour long and it looks like a drama, but it's a comedy. One of the things that appeals to be about it is that the characters don't really change. They (the Roy kids) have one goal: get daddy's approval. That's it. They all go about it in different ways, fail in their own ways, but that's always the goal. They're all obsessed with having the kind of power Logan has without understanding at all what it takes to do that. I personally think they've done a good job showing why Logan is viewed the way he is. The first season was seeing him slip, but by current episodes, he's back to form. I'm also glad they're wrapping up. The one thing that was starting to get to me was that there are only so many times you can do Kendall vs. Logan without it getting stale. I'm pretty confident in them sticking the landing since the creators have made it their choice to do so.

This show had a lot of stuff that I didn't like within the stuff I liked. I dug the opening segment. Thought it was cool to bring the "pillars" together like that. Didn't like that it got shooty, especially Sammy's stuff. I don't want to hear "job" or "bump" on my wrestling show. Also, I was really hoping when Darby got his turn to talk, he'd just say "fuck it" and attack Max. Instead he read a few pages from JR's diary. I don't mind Hobbs being paired up with QT, buuuuuut not like that. I don't mind the idea of the Outcasts, buuuuuut not like that. I did just like the OC/JJ match and the main event with no caveats. I know it's been a long time since Hangman and the Elite have interacted, but I'm glad they waited. That was the perfect moment to do it.

I always think WWE's trouble with turning heels face is odd. There have been many, many times that a heel started geting some fan support and they botched the face run. Sid, Diesel, "Sufferin' Succotash" Roman, etc. They got it VERY right twice with Austin and Rock: just have them keep doing what they're doing, but now do it to heels instead of faces. Instead, they insist on neutering everyone they turn face by making them all smiley and nice. It's weird.

I haven't seen much of him, but I just love that Knight's name is a mashup of two 80's athletic shoe brands.
