I don't know if this along the lines of the topic, but I really like the "Return of the Living Dead" BTS on the first release of that film. Dan O'Bannon is very interesting to hear talk about his work. Along those lines, the BTS off the first Collector's ed of "American Werewolf in London" is also quite good.

Are there any movie nerd sites that have tried to do a power ranking of every Tarantino film character ever? I'd be keen to look at such a thing, even though I like the time, effort and motivation to watch Jamie Foxx "act" in "Django Unchained" to do one myself.

What exactly is going on w/ Nigel? I remember his TNA run got cut short, but I never saw anything that suggested why. Heard some rumbling, nothing certain, about possible hep. Then I saw some stuff to suggested concussion issues, but again, nothing clear. And everything else has been "poor Nigel," "a cautionary tale," suggestions of poor in-ring decisions (those stupid face bumps into the ringposts!), but still nothing clear. If it's not sleaze, can somebody help me out?

Most fights are over in like 30 seconds so cardio doesn't mean anything. Maybe those bar fights where people just wrestle each other to the ground. but I've seen plenty of fights that have gone over 30 seconds. Perhaps but I highly doubt cardio is the deciding factor in most fights unless you're in a controlled environment. I dunno, I was attacked by a guy who was floridly psychotic, but in such shape that a couple of whiff punches had him winded and incapable of carrying on.

I just don't understand. I state a reasonable opinion of dislike for something that David Richards did in a match, an act that I found offensive. You called me a hypocrite and "full of shit" (before the edit) and tell me that I should dislike El Generico because, in your reasoning, he's just as offensive - yet in a far more longitudinal manner - as Davey's one-off behavior. I agree with you, in the spirit of what you're saying, and yet now you take a mocking tone with me. I don't believe I wish to engage you in discourse on this matter anymore, as this exchange has become most dissatisfying. My life was much more enriched before you came along this day.

I'm actually curious about this matter, myself. So, all this time, I've been assuming that El Generico The Character was obviously supposed to be a Canadian (read: white) guy who happened to get wrestling training in Mexico, and so enmeshed himself in the culture that he adopted behaviorisms indicative of the indigenous people of Latin and Central America. Instead, I have been understanding that character all wrong. He's aping the worst behaviors of standard Mexican and Latino stereotypes, not as parody or lampoon, but as a crass, demeaning commentary *against* Mexicans. So, El Generico is like, say, Daniel Tosh, in that being racist in an ironic fashion could be just be justifying in a backhanded way one's own permissibility to be a racist. Wow. Mind ... blown.
