  1. So it's the parents we have to blame for Iggy Azalea.
  2. Gangsta Ki was probably Ki's best run anywhere. I don't think it produced many matches that people would count among the best of his career, but crowds were molten for pretty much everything he did. Playing the vicious asshole (being his regular self?) took him to the next level, in terms of being a larger than life character rather than just an Indy Superworker. I don't really know why no one else has tried to use him in the same role. He was instrumental in building up Jay Lethal during that run. On the downside, his relationship with ROH inevitably blew up again before they could payoff Joe/Ki. But I guess you get what you deserve when you try to build a 2 year angle around Low Ki.
  3. Brotherhood is Top 3 in the series for me (haven't got around to Rogue yet, mind you), so you definitely want that. Liberation is a Vita game that came out alongside AC3, and I'd rate it as skippable. They ported it to PS3 last year, but I'm not sure how that worked, considering a lot of the sidequest stuff was designed to utilize all the Vita gimmicks. Like, you have to collect these pieces of paper, then hold the Vita's rear camera up to a light source to reveal a hidden icon, and stuff like that.
  4. If I recall, Danielson and Shelley had a tremendous match at one of the ROH/CZW shows. I might just be remembering the epic shit talking.
  5. God, I love HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER. Despite the troublesome rape scene.
  6. Finally caught up completely on SLEEPY HOLLOW just in time for it to come back on Monday. I didn't really see the significant drop-off in quality that I had heard about and feared. The narrative wasn't as tight, which led to a mid-section where Henry essentially played a Power Rangers big bad, conjuring up the ghoul of the week, and produced a few generic episodes built around supernatural TV tropes (a Succubus! a haunted asylum!), but that's to be expected with the expanded episode order. But when the story got back down to business at the end, it didn't miss a beat. And in the end, Hawley (Blonde Nathan Drake) wasn't as obnoxious as I feared he would be, thought he also wasn't even close to being as charming of a rogue as the show clearly intends him to be, at this point. I think it's more of an actor thing, than a writing thing, though, so I'm not sure how much hope there is for improvement. And, dear god, lose that magic necklace that lets Headless talk.
  7. I think any retrospective on the Reborn era is just going to make me sad that Alex Shelley's carerr went the direction it did.
  8. I remember being shocked at how much better Danielson/Homicide was than the Punk match. I was not a big Cide fan at the time, and I think that match was a big turning point for him in terms of his quality of work in non-brawls.
  9. WHOO TENNERSEE GOING TO TOWN ON MIGHTY IOWA. WE BACK ALREADY SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC
  10. I love that we have both a Military Bowl AND an Armed Forces Bowl, each sponsored by competing defense contractors. "We love the American military!" "But we love them MORE!" "Do not!" "Do too!"
  11. I know who didn't: ESPN. This has to be their worst possible scenario. Bama vs. either Oregon or FSU is a dream matchup. Florida State vs. Ohio State at least would've had the great heel in Jameis and the drama of whether OSU could stop him from going out undefeated. Oregon vs. Ohio State is just, like, another good football game, I guess.
  12. When you're on top, everybody despises you and wants to take you down a notch. Simple as that. No biggie.
  13. What a weird series of plays.
  14. That didn't work, obvs.
  15. That was the best onside kick I've ever seen.
  16. Believe it or not, this was an overachieving year for Alabama. OL and secondary wasn't up to snuff all year. Great play calling by Kiffin and gutsy performances by Sims were what got them this far. Oh, and Cooper, duh. And an awesome punter.
  17. Has there ever been a punter who entered the draft as a junior?
  18. JK Scott is an assassin.
  19. Hey, just cause your team is refusing to do what I demand and beat Ohio to a bloody pulp, don't blame me. Now get them to step the fuck up already. I'M GIVING IT ALL SHES GOT CAPTAIN.
  20. Ragland's a big loss. Best LB by far.
  21. I'm pretty sure this is all your fault, Fowler.
  22. I'm the toast of my living room for calling that QB draw before it happened. *feelsgoodman*
  23. They've actually been light on Kiffin compared to normal. CBS had a Kiff Kam all season long.
  24. Christion Jones cannot be gone soon enough. I have no idea why Saban keeps him as the return guy. It's not like he hits a lot of big returns to balance out his dumb decisions.
  25. Ever since the Western Carolina game, it's been a Code Red on Eddie Jackson. And he shits the bed just about every time.
