I can shed some light on the Sunshine press conference insinuations. It wasn't as sleazy as you think... "The tapes" refer to Garvin's entrance to World Class, his gimmick was initially where he would come to ringside during other matches and would tape them with a home movie camera. He also initially refused to wrestle on TV because he did not want his opponents to have the same advantage he did: able to study and find weaknesses. -

It would have drawn much more but there was a horrible downpour for a couple of days and rained the day of the event that hurt attendance. -

I honestly think it was like the time Show called Kaientai 'gooks' when he meant to say 'goofs.'

Well considering how far behind Vince is, he's due to see There's Something About Mary any week now. Can't wait to see him do the "baseball behind the ear scene" with the redebut of Festus. -
Seriously...no masked Neidhart in the background? That seems like a gimme considering the band.

My intro to the legend was on some old bootleg RF comp mix from the late 90s...I believe it was the Death Match with Funk and Pogo against Tanaka and "Hiya-boosee" (as the Funker referred to him as)...I saw the fire, the barb wire and explosions. Made quite the first impression.

Ok I think I should know the guy on the right...who is it?

One of his hoes is already in the HOF. Thinking about it, maybe they're going to induct a member of the Bone Street Krew every year to keep Taker happy. So, Savio goes in next year? No, Penis Godwin.

Watching the intros to the Taped Fist Match from the Cotton Bowl with Iceman Parsons and One Man Gang...Gary Hart could be heard on the boom mic saying "He's gonna beat you like he just bought you on an auction block!" Yikes. -

Don't blame him because workers don't know when to cinch up. -
We're right by the Dallas World Trade Center (and the AA Center apparently). Someone recommended Lockhart's which also seems to be in this Oak Cliff area, but the places you suggested look pretty legit too. Appreciated! Lockharts is good too!
