  1. Been watching Star Wars: Rebels on Disney+ with my 5 year old recently. It's really good. I haven't watched Clone Wars. I've tried. Started it up and watched a few episodes a number of times, but it never clicked with me. This did right away, with me and the kid. Now he's asking to watch Rebels in the morning instead of PJ Masks. Way better.
  2. With the Usos returning last night, what about the possibility of Naomi winning the Rumble? Or at least being the SD challenger for their Women's title
  3. For Ryback, I had figured they were going to head to a Ryback vs The Shield match at Mania. Ryback had been screwed so many times by The Shield, I could've seen him asking for a match against all of them in a gauntlet match. The Shield were undefeated at the time, and my fantasy booking had him beating Ambrose and Rollins before finally getting beat by Reigns. Makes Ryback still look strong, but technically The Shield wins in the end and stays undefeated. Instead, he gets dropped in to a last minute feud with Mark Henry and losing on a fluke pin, and that's when his push and overall mystique really ended.
  4. It was the medal Leia was holding on her death bed, so it was likely Han's medal from ANH. Something that would likely mean a lot to him for multiple reasons, much more than a consolation prize
  5. The 6:05 time limit is a callback to the old 6:05pm timeslot that NWA used to air on Saturday nights on TBS. It's also why the show goes live on YouTube at 6:05pm every Tuesday.
  6. Left the movie entirely underwhelmed. The movie never clicked with me at any point. I enjoyed a lot of individual moments throughout, but the overarching story was lacking and I never connected with it. It was like JJ made his sequel to Force Awakens and then this film as well and just crammed it all in there. It was definitely his response to Last Jedi. Oh you didn't do anything with Knights of Ren in your movie? Well here they are! Rey's parents aren't anybody? Wrong! She's a Palpatine! It was too much movie. Too much happening. Too many new characters showing up with none fleshed out enough to mean anything. But again, that's not to say I hated it. I didn't. A lot of really good moments. But ultimately, as a whole, I'm disappointed.
  7. Keith Lee wins the Rumble and chooses Finn and the NXT title as his match at Mania and wins the title there. Shayna loses to Rhea and disappears for the next 5 weeks. She returns at the Rumble, wins it, and chooses Becky and the RAW title as her match at Mania.
  8. Brock vs Fury Roman vs Fiend - Universal Title Becky vs Ronda - RAW Women's Title Kevin Owens vs AJ Styles - WWE Title Bayley vs Sasha - SD Women's Title Finn Balor vs Keith Lee - NXT Title Charlotte vs Rhea Ripley - NXT Women's Title Ricochet vs Drew McIntyre vs Braun Strowman - US Title Nakamura vs Mustafa Ali vs Sheamus vs Dolph Ziggler vs Baron Corbin vs Daniel Bryan - IC Title Ladder Match Usos vs New Day - SD Tag Titles Kabuki Warriors vs IIconics vs Fire&Desire vs Bliss/Cross - Women's Tag Titles Viking Raiders vs Rey/Dominic Mysterio vs The OC vs Humberto Carillo/Andrade - RAW Tag Titles Rollins/AOP vs Undisputed Era
  9. I was hoping that the Quiet Place sequel would follow another family or another group somewhere rather than continue the story of the family in the original. I want to see how more of the world is dealing with this, not this same family who already figured out how to defeat the creatures.
  10. Nothing in the episode, but if you go to extras there's a "sneak peek", which appears to maybe be a short scene from the movie. I didn't watch it, though, so don't know for sure.
  11. New episode of The Mandalorian dropped today. Really liked it and it did start linking everything together, just as we were discussing how it didn't seem like they were. I hope the last episode is extended a bit more than the typical 40 minutes. I feel like to tie up everything in one more episode will need at least a full hour, if not more.
  12. Found these at my local dollar store earlier tonight
  13. Haven't seen Richard Jewell yet, but Paul Walter Hauser is from my hometown. I never met him myself, but am 1 degree of separation from him and knew of him and his comedy work several years ago. It's just kind of neat to see him breaking through at the national/worldwide level. His interview on the WTF podcast was really good. Seems like he's got a great head on his shoulders. Between him and Alicia Taylor on NXT, pretty neat to see Saginaw making a mark on the entertainment industry lately.
  14. Watched Terrifier on Netflix over the weekend. Will spoiler box my thoughts just in case:
  15. I'm watching Episode III - Revenge of the Sith right now. Been quite awhile since I've watched this beginning to end. Probably over 10 years, if not more. Man, just as with Attack of the Clones, anything involving Anakin and Padme is so horrible. Zero chemistry at all between those two, and the dialogue is just as horrible. All the acting is so wooden across the board. I can't handle any of the prequels. I don't know whether to blame Hayden Christensen for bringing it all down with his horrible acting, or if it's simply impossible for any actor to properly emote when reciting the lines they're given in this film. I mean, even Natalie Portman is pretty bad in this. Yet, Ian McDiarmid just chews all the scenery he can in every scene he's in and seems to make it work. There are good movies in the prequels buried in there somewhere, but Lucas did not bring them to the screen at all.
  16. It's always just Star Wars for me. Not episode 4 or A New Hope. I'm 43.
  17. Loved the new episode. Jarring to see Bill Burr as a featured character, and it took me a bit to recognize Clancy Brown. Did anybody catch what the scrambled message from Carl Weathers was saying? Couldn't make it out. Seems like it will be important. Like @JohnnyLaw said, no idea what the "go home" for the season is. Two episodes left, and it doesn't seem like there's much of an overarching story to tie up outside of who/what Baby Yoda is. It's seemed more like a collection of episodes/stories very loosely connected. Curious how it will all tie together at the end.
  18. I have the Mankind Maximum Sweat figure sitting on my desk in front of me right now ?
  19. Ha..... oops. Missed that part. Good question. I recall there being a ppv somewhat recently that was the first show not featuring any member of the Shield in years, but I think he was injured for that one, too.
  20. So, Wonder Woman is out fully in costume riding lightening bolts across the sky with her lasso in 1984. Why was she completely forgotten about as an existing superhero on our planet by the time Batman v Superman came around and she had to be dug up by Batman?
  21. I don't see Legacy as a HoF group. I feel Rated RKO would be more highly regarded than Legacy, but neither are on my list unless they get desperate some year. And, if Rated RKO goes in, that would put Edge in there as a Three Timer, as the team of Edge and Christian certainly deserve to go in together as well. The '97 Hart Foundation deserves to go in, but they've already inducted the original Hart Foundation and I'm not sure if they would induct another version of the Hart Foundation. Though it would be a way to get Owen in, as you said. Hogan going in with the Mega-Powers could be a possibility.
