  1. At least we are still getting the Batman cartoon, which on paper has the best pedigree of all the things shelved or axed.
  2. Guess we know who Pete has on ignore. worst own goal: Luton or Burnley? The Burnley one is just bad for the keeper.
  3. Everyone expected Jacob last night, so debuting Tama instead was an interesting swerve.
  4. The guy who got replaced as show runner has done interviews discussing the episode and how it was inspired by real life events.
  5. This popped up for me tonight. Better late than never. https://youtu.be/fPyj6A-lDYs?si=O7s5LSQbGUagBIcE
  6. Wiki says he worked for a while at WB Animation, including on the GL cartoon.
  7. I've already seen people projecting forwards to a Bloodline Hollywood vs Bloodline Wofpac War Games.
  8. Web traffic to the Mormon Girlz site about to explode
  9. Mistico is probably still doing triple shots on Sunday like he did in his heydey before going to New York.
  10. I didnt learn until a couple years after first seeing him that was Terry Funks name in Paradise Alley.
  11. If you were a charter subscriber to the Criterion Channel, you should have gotten a $20 email coupon,
  12. I saw the agent list for Mania and they were gimmick names. The ECW homage six man was conveniently produced by Abyss. Imagine if it had been produced by Joseph Park instead.
  13. Prob hard to tell, since they shifted money around to different departments. Would WCW have been more profitable on paper if, for example, the PPV money went on their books and not Turner Home Entertainment?
  14. The company had 6/7 bad years (depending on how you classify 1989) and then had 2 red hot years. Easy to belive the bubble would burst (finger poked).
  15. One friend sent me something tonight saying since Privacy/PII laws in the UK are different than the US, there might be issues with people whose faces were not blurred or and not did not sign waivers or such. I guess they were warned about that before the show. Might explain why they copyright struck every video on social media last night and today.
  16. I'd have said the cover would at least vaguely tie into the plot, even if in a sensationalist way. I'd say the cover of just the hero with no particular conflict was the exception. But this is off to of my head at 0100 at work.
  17. Tangentially, Brevoort discussed recently the whole “cover doesn’t match the story inside” way things are done now.
  18. Would Osprey even really improve WWE from a business POV? Would his signing boost their UK business when they already have Drew and the rest (throw in Becky and Sheamus if you want to include the ROI). but he might sell PPV for TK and increase ratings (which we don’t talk about anymore). makes more sense for him too, schedule and money wise, on paper.
