They have a shirt on one of the wrestling shirt sites with them (I think it's ProWrestlingTees). If it's trademarked by WWE now, I wonder if they'll have to take that down. If so I might want to snag one before that happens.

Nah, man, not my style. Moving on, reading the Observer and noticed that apparently WWE trademarked the name The Four Horsewomen because Rousey and company didn't trademark it. That is baffling. You have a group of friends who are seen as much as possible together in Rousey's group and it's been long established that's they're collectively known as. But WWE is using that for Sasha, Bayley, Charlotte and Becky. Yes, for NXT I'm sure they were close friends and if Bayley was called up that could make sense. As it is it seems weird to just take it with three of the four on the main roster. Don't know if that sours whatever relationship they have or hope to have with Rousey, but it does seems odd.

Which has me curious as to what happened after the rumors came out. Did people know? Did he get blackballed anywhere? Did fans know and ditch him in a hurry? I know he's wrestled long after the incident, even in WWF/E for a time or two. But I wonder just how widespread this was known at that time.

Absolutely. I had to overwrite so many CAWs due to the face not matching the color of the body. It sounds like a great idea, but in practice it was anything but. Haven't heard much of anything about that so have a feeling that's going to stay.

If anything I'm surprised a lot of people still found Snuka to be a good guy before this blew up. Would have figured when it became an urban legend people would have pretty much ignored any good he did and wonder why nobody charged him before. If somebody is tied a murder story at all, even if it was swept under the rug, they're a piece of shit. It's easy for me say since I didn't grow up liking him. But is there anybody who was a Snuka fan who is hurt about all this? Kind of find that hard to believe. It is startling they just recently decided to re-open the case since it's so long ago. And Buy Me a Burrito, you're right in what's been discussed in the thread. Don't blame you for ignoring this now, but FWIW it appears her family will finally get closure on this. Way too long to get justice on what appears to be a clear cut case, but it'll come.

Is it me or was the audio a bit low for the crowd? Something seemed off about that. Either that or the crowd was not reacting that much. Ascension just is not good anymore. I don't know what happened to them, but man I couldn't care less about whatever they do. Enjoyed Alexa/Blue Pants, heel turn was the best thing to happen to her. Kind of weird seeing Apollo against Martin Stone. I like Stone's heelish ways and would be cool with them using him more. And it's also a bit of a mindfuck that Gargano and Ciampa have their indy names intact coming into this. Are they full-time or do they have an Joe-style contract? Eva Marie is rubbish, no matter how much she improves I just refuse to accept her being anywhere close to good. I was actually annoyed to hear her get any support from the crowd. Fucking Total Divas. And the main event was awesome, Gable/Jordan are going to be stars. At first I was surprised seeing Neville's team lost, but then it made perfect sense. Given how fucking good they are it's not a shock seeing them win.

So Madison divorced from somebody in the military who she appeared to love dearly. And her next husband is...Josh Matthews? Nothing against the guy but that seems like a downgrade. That and I really can't stand him on commentary. And considering how much wacky shit Daniel's been a part of since joining WWE, WHY NOT have Big Johnny as a stepdad? This is absolutely hilarious. I'm going to need to make a list of all the wacky shit he's been involved with. Still hard to imagine that his career path has gone the way it has and now he'll have Ace as a stepdad and Animal as an uncle. Pro wrestling can be wonderfully wacky sometimes, in and out of the ring.

Trying? They never really did follow-up on that, I just assumed they did and didn't mention it. Considering how much Big E was a smooth motherfucker throughout the whole episode there was only one that could have ended. Absolutely loved this episode. Hammervia and Cristobal had me laughing hard with their observations. I love how they tried so hard to make Daniel an asshole with shutting off the water out of protest. Then later on he just tosses all these expensive clothes of Brie's and she just went with it. Yet despite these efforts it's still amusing as fuck that he is doing shit like this on a reality show, will never get over that.

I'm hoping for all this talk about EVOLVE guys signing Gabe's getting something out of this. That's a lot of big stars leaving. I know he's got plenty to work with, but that'll take quite a hit on anybody. Speaking of EVOLVE if anybody hears Trevin Adams as an announcer the guy's an old friend of mine. He's a tad annoying but he's a good dude. He's been bugging me to catch that and FIP and it's been a fun watch. FIP had Swann being awesome, Michael Tarver in a much improved role, and this guy named Maxwell Chicago who was very entertaining. I need to see the recent EVOLVE shows to see what's going on, but hot damn is the Roku stick convenient for watching this. I'd kill for a subscription model a la WWE Network/NJPW World.

I used to work with this guy who went to MSG shows in the 60's and 70's. The stories he would tell me. It sounded like strsaight up gang wars in the Garden. every ethnicity had a star they supported and the heels at the time would race bait the crowd something fierce. I need to email him. Maybe he can write me back a good story. If he does might want to send it to Meltzer. I'm sure he'll love to check that out.

Aside from a couple recent posts it seems we've been sticking to the original point of this just fine. There's been discussions on A.) How we're not surprised, B.) How bad Snuka will get it, C.) How Vince may or may not get in trouble and D.) How it will damage perceptions of wrestling. That, and with how lengthy this is going to go there'll be plenty to talk about so I think we're all just settling in for a long ride.

Especially if it was run by Mick Foley. But if they every did do the camps like they used to who would you use? I believe Finlay's still there so why not him? Maybe they can promote Sarah D'Amato full-time to the main roster and do camps with them. Once Sarah Stock gets acclimated to the training she could take over D'Amato's role at the Performance Center.

Honestly, I really like the idea of Brown Strongbad. The old school vibe of super monster being impossible to take down can and will work. Sure, you'll have those who can't take a face like his seriously, but he could be effective. And it's one helluva upgrade from being the strong Rosebud. I feel if anything he needs a hurty-looking slam either as a finisher or a setup to the submission. Build it up that either one can finish a match and it could work.

I feel like I need to call 900-909-9900 to find out the full details of this.

Wrestling doesn't exactly have a pristine reputation to begin with. It was hard to convince people otherwise if they went solely on the "Wrestling is fake" line. Then you toss in people dying of drugs and word on concussions comes out. And of course the Benoit situation, that took a long time to get over that one. What makes it easier is there is a lot of good shit out there that doesn't involve WWE. NJPW, lucha, ROH, LU if/when they come back, good local indies, there's a lot to check out. And WWE's not going to collapse if Vince gets in trouble. If anything it would be a blessing in disguise. There's Steph and HHH and I feel pretty good about them taking over. Sure they'll take a hit but they'll find a way to bounce back. This is of course if Vince gets in trouble. Considering it's been so long he might be fine barring any evidence.

There's pretty much zero equivalence between murdering someone and saying a bad word. Point taken, was a dumb post in hindsight. I do remember when hearing about it around 2005 or so. Always felt that was true and just didn't think much of it. So when I read the case was re-opened it was only a mayer of time before he would get charged. Guess we'll see how bad he gets it and if Vince can find a way out of any punishment. Given Snuka's supposed financial woes he's going to have a tough time for sure.

Hot damn, first Hogan gets caught and now Snuka's been charged. Damn, with all that time Piper was heeling on them turns out they were the biggest jerks of all. I would imagine Vince would get hit in some way with obstruction of justice. Yeah, Jerry McDevitt will work his magic to make the punishment as minimal as possible. But this can still hurt a lot with shareholders if it all goes to hell.

I want to think Tamina would be fine, she's part of Team BAD and taking her out would be too obvious for those that know. It wasn't her fault or anything, just unfortunate that her dad killed his girlfriend.

There's people like them with pretty much everything. You don't hear about them unless they either make the news like this guy or they're associated with a fandom that's hated by most. Lots of fucked up people in this world.

If by some chance Tyson does wrestle again, that might end up being one of the most inspirational wrestling stories you'll find anywhere. A man that should have died or ended up a quadriplegic and he somehow returns to the ring? Tell me you wouldn't get emotional seeing that. Considering all the crazy shit that's gone down the last couple days (including today) I'm down with focusing on the Power of Positivity.

That's quite possible. I was thinking somebody in the Center went crazy and shots were fired. Still fucked up no matter what it ended up being.

I have a bad feeling about that also. Seriously, it's a bit troubling that all this crazy shit has gone on in the past couple days. Just a huge, huge WTF situation all over the place.
