  1. Got it at midnight and played two matches before going to bed, mainly just did squash matches for the sake of time. Balor looks amazing with his entrance, they really nailed it. Selfie stick color aside Breeze looks amazing as well. I like the slight change in gameplay where you can sit somebody up to do moves and you can do more with heavy ground strikes. Also really like Savage, he actually looks like him and didn't see anything weird with his moveset. Stardust looks pretty good as well. The graphical detail is much better this time around, down the little things like Stardust and Finn's tassels in their entrance gear. Curious how the women look since last year most of them looked horrendous.
  2. I'm glad to read not only that El Hijo Del Ice Cream is still around, but that he did this. I remember seeing his team years ago and they were hilarious.
  3. Checked his Twitter and would gladly follow him. Except he posts a ton about that Undateable show and I don't want that clogging up my timeline. But cool to see him get some love from the wrestlers, and he said WWE gave him tickets for HIAC. Dude's got a good thing going.
  4. Yep, he sure did. Months ago he also wanted Big E to hook him up with Bayley. Somebody in wrestling needs to do something with him, he's entertaining as anything and would be a great fit.
  5. Different topic, but if you're familiar with the show @Midnight on Comedy Central Ron Funches was dressed as Ric Flair (Halloween episode) He did one helluva job in his impressions, did some of Flair's famous lines including "Meeeaaaannn...Whoo..by God...Gene!" Really fun show, worth checking out.
  6. Not only was Breeze's debut awesome, but the crowd knew who he is. The dueling chants were in effect along with an NXT chant and I was overjoyed to see that. Fun tag match to end what was a fun show. And Miz with a bit of foreshadowing saying it'll be Pretty...awesome in his earlier promo. So if you didn't know Breeze was coming in that was a nice touch. Oh, and Kofi slayed me with the hopscotch leading into the Boom Drop.
  7. Depends on the person but how can it be sad if you hide your wrestling fandom? If there's other common interests for people to talk about then it might not be needed to mention wrestling. In my case I did express my wrestling fandom in the past with mixed results. After the Benoit incident for the people I come across it wasn't worth bringing up. But overtime I just found it's easier to just express interests in other things that others like (video games, superhero stuff, etc.) and that works just fine. I will say though that it might be more acceptable now than it was even 5 years ago. New Day's references to memes and the like certainly help their case. Xavier's UpUpDownDown channel is starting to cross over into the video game industry, and it appears to be an organic crossover at that. Lucha Underground is cool and can draw people in with the wrestling plus cool shit they do. And NXT has the cool factor going on, it's a matter of time before people start to pay more attention to that. And if they don't care for the wrestling part, they just hype them on the stuff they reference and they might be more receptive to it. But again, depends on the person and how they work around it.
  8. Probably not. I think that's very low on their list of priorities. Last year for WM entrance ways that curved were replaced with your regular entrance way, don't see that changing. Considering I'm a fan of Ben's Bunkhouse Buck stories I hope somebody makes a good CAW of him. Everything else is right there for him to finally have Buck dominate WWE like he'd hope it would.
  9. 1. It's not even Halloween yet so I'm likely going to hold off on anything Black Friday until afterwards (even though it appears to be month-long anymore instead of one day). 2. Sweet jeebus that's a sweet deal. I'm a PS4 guy and am saving up for a house, but you can't go wrong with $300 for that.
  10. Holy cow do I love Asuka. She's awesome in the ring, says a ton just with her facial expressions, and as a bonus is extremely good-looking which helps for marketability. If she's on a show, it's an absolute must-watch. Was happy to see Storm, interested to see what he's going to do in NXT. And I'm all in on Alexis as a challenger. Some would say her mannerisms are a bit much, but she's making for a great mean girl to counteract Bayley. Also dug Corbin/Rhyno, you know Corbin's only going to benefit from that. Oh, and I know there's a working agreement with Evolve, but holy fuck was it surreal seeing their footage for Apollo's video. Cool to see though. But what really hit like a ton of bricks is the crowd doing the "Beer! Money!" chant and realizing this isn't TNA. This could take some getting used to. I'm really hoping he's on TV again the same night as he's on Impact in that tournament of theirs. If Bram's any indication they pretty much have to still show it.
  11. One of my friends hate Jeff Gordon with a passion, so it's very easy to troll the fucker. I couldn't care less who the other two like or hate though.
  12. Ain't that the truth, I have three friends who are obsessed with Nascar, much to my dismay. God forbid I want to watch New Japan on Axs TV (why is this not on my TV yet? Stupid Comcast) they bitch about it. But given all the shit I've had to hear about being a wrestling fan it's hard to put it out there you're a wrestling fan and not feel self-conscious about it. Even at work where half the guys are mainstream wrestling fans, I just don't want to talk to them about it. I've heard way too much about it being fake and full of rapists/murders/roided guys to feel fully comfortable about it.
  13. There's always the other shirt they have with the logo on the front. Or wait until their socks go on sale.
  14. So they apparently went to Baltimore during this, looked kinda like Mt. Vernon. Granted, it could have been anyplace else with a setting to resemble Baltimore, but on the chance it was for real I would have been down with seeing them film there. And I'm glad they're going to talk more about what Simmons saw, something like that should take time to flesh out.
  15. Sherri and Parker as managers, Blonds theme is in, holy fuckballs this alone has me excited. Add to that the other cool shit that's been talked about and I'm really looking forward to Tuesday.
  16. I could be wrong though. Can't wait for next week's Simmons-centric episode.
  17. I was amused by Ms. Neudermyer needing that damn pasta maker again, she was asking for that last season too. Too bad she won't get one after all. Badass Carol plus Morgan finally killing a fool made for entertaining TV. Thoroughly enjoyed this episode.
  18. I never heard of Fu Sheng until El Rey put a bunch of his movies out. He was just so unbelievably good and I was saddened when finding out he was killed in that accident. If any of his movies are on today I'm going to have to check it out.
  19. Found this fairly amusing, as reporting on Observer site: And I think I saw that sign in the crowd last night if it's the one I'm thinking of. Will have to re-watch it. As for the show itself, considering they had these legends come out a whole lot of nothing happened. Sure, Owens/Henry was fun as was the main. Heck, the opening 6-man tag was fun too (brutal offense from the Dudleys) But they really could have used the legends better, at least those like UT, Stone Cold and HBK were in Texas anyway.
  20. I know I'm a week behind on this, but just checked the New Day segment on that Atlanta show Rippa posted. The people there knew their stuff and it made for a really fun 5 minutes. And I tried to access the link for the mini-sleaze thread at work. It blocked it on the grounds of being tasteless so I guess this has to be good.
  21. The conversation started off wonderfully. The talk about grilling, beer, whisky, country and metal music and hunting was all kinds of manly. If they did a truncated interview that focused on non-wrestling stuff I would have been highly entertained. As soon as they started talking his career that's when it looked like he started to lose interest. The guy is just not comfortable talking for a length of time, there's a good reason Paul talks for him. That said I certainly enjoyed it. If they were going to do the WM match something would have happened, but when the show ended so did the chances of that happening. With Steve's neck it's for the best.
  22. Weren't they thinking to re-package Los Matadores? Carlito comes back, they take off the masks and help him beat Cena. Can't say I'm a Carlito fan, but I wouldn't be mad at that.
  23. Mia Yim's TNA run is odd. From what I heard she does great in places like Shine and is a good wrestler. But the matches haven't been as good as I hoped, even against people like Gail Kim. It is possible it's because it's TNA, but I was expecting more. That said, I still think she'd be a good fit for LU because it's hard to take stock in much of anything associated with TNA.
  24. It's super cheap on Steam? Unless it just went on sale I saw it was still at $50. I think Michael Sweetser has this on PC, he might be able to help you out. But best bet might be to get a controller and use that for the PC. I personally can't imagine using the keyboard/mouse for something like this.
