Agreed. As someone who really began to drift away after 4-5 years without WCW at the time, it was sort of exciting with that first wave of Rhino/Christian/Angle/Dudleyz/Booker. Past that, where you get into the Hogans and Flairs of the world and the RVDs getting the world belt on the debut, that's I think more the territory that people refer to when they do the comparison.

This is why I get sort of angry when people shit on Janela for even being a part of AEW. Even if you're not a fan of his in-ring, you would have to be insane to deny his scouting and promoting abilities.

Another "end of an era" release. When you saw Garea, and pre-Stooge Patterson & Brisco come out to break up a fight, you know shit was out of control.

I wonder how many of those people are taking the same stance as me when answering, which is: Yeah of course I'll take the vaccine, but I'm just going to stay in the house until round 2 to see if any of the beta-testers become radioactive I haven't gotten to see a whole ton of Impact lately outside of the old shows they play on the Pluto channel, but if they can position themselves as the ECW to AEW's WCW with a nice roster re-build to freshen things up, then that might be a nice little niche to carve out for themselves.

If they go the route of doing the Mox DQ finish people are guessing at, then honestly, I wouldn't be surprised nor unhappy if they open the show with it. If Moxley wins with an armbar or something or if they do an MJF shock victory, I could see it closing.
