I'm not sure if Team Taz is breaking up for real or not, but I wonder if what they're going to end up doing is running Cage/Archer with the winner getting Darby for the title. Or doing Cage/Archer vs Sting/Darby either as a standalone or a pit stop. I won't bore everyone with fantasy booking, but I thought of a couple good ways they could get from there to Sting/Darby eventually if that's where we're heading next.

I can't even describe how happy I am for the two women involved in that main event. Wild shit. Britt has improved so much, so quickly its unbelievable, and Rosa's maybe now officially the best woman they have not named Serena. And big ups to Rebel Not Reba for the queen sized table bump, we popped big for that in my house.

It's kinda weird that Summerslam never had a beach party movie theme, like Clambake or some shit. At least we got Great Balls of Fire

He has a cool name, and I like the Avalon pairing so far as an enhancement team, but I'll agree that he doesn't strike me as particularly unique. Like, you could probably drop one of the La Resistance guys in there and I wouldn't notice for a few weeks

I haven't watched any of the other DC TV shows, so you definitely know a ton more about them than I do, but to your point about seeming regressive from an adaptation view, I don't know if I agree. For me, this has been the most enjoyable screen Superman in my lifetime. Its such a better, more appropriate tone for the character than the Snyder or Singer movies. Just curious, is it that you find it corny minus all the reboot grittiness? (If that comment was more about the centric politics of Supergirl, then disregard - I havent seen enough of it, so I'll take your word for it on that).

And what's weird to me is that it seems to skew kinda young? Like, these aren't old Crockett fans in their 50s or something, not that that would make it okay, either, but at least more understandable. These guys are like a shitty little group of pro-wrestling Alex P. Keatons

Yeah, I agree it's gotta be a Covid/visa issue, especially now with the NWA/Impact/NJPW involvement, unless there's some political aspect to it we aren't considering, like if for example one of those companies had a CMLL partnership (no idea if they do in reality). Along these lines, I wonder if there was supposed to be more involvement from CIMA and OWE pre-pandemic, because I wasn't too familiar with em but I loved em on the early shows.

Well that's a huge bummer. Last I saw, he was having great matches with Bryan and was brought back after being let go.

This is not some weird contrarian thing, because I've always loved Truth, but I'll always feel like he's missed potential. Obviously, he has a great spot with WWE, probably good pay for the stuff he's doing, but no one will sway me from the opinion that a "serious" Truth run would have drawn big time, or at the very least been great TV.

Your post actually makes me realize the best thing for a potential heel Scorp would actually probably be Spears' spot in FTR. Or here's one: how about Cody gets pissed off at Arn for putting the 4 finger stamp of approval on FTR, and then Arn turns on Cody and becomes Scorpio's coach instead. Now he's got both a talker and a built in issue.

I figured the story would be that Scorp beats a weakened Darby from the street fight. But @Jijimakes a great point, we haven't had that full blown turn yet. So now I'm thinking Darby goes over here "against the odds," and Scorpio does the whole "snap after the loss" thing, complete with Jericho chair tantrum, leading to our rematch
