Mainly watched the women's rumble before switching to the cage match on Collision. We got P'Cock because the wife asked, "Have you heard of this show, 'Twisted Metal'?" She watched the match with me. We joked about how gaudy the outfits and hair situation was, with soooooo many colors and extensions, and when somebody's extensions had fallen out, she was got a kick out of that. Chelsea Green was the MVP. It's shocking how good and crisp Jordynne Grace looked compared to basically everybody else. Jade had a great debut, but being taken out briefly by a ring post spot and then lying around playing dead was a real drag. Bayley winning was nice, always loved Bayley.

Just finished Alan Wake 2. Hot damn. Felt like playing a movie, but not like a Telltale game. A million billion stars.

Despite Rosa's sloppiness, I think Red Velvet has looked really damn good in the ring lately. Push her, dammit!

It's interesting as he's a respected vet with legit credentials that never seems to lose his aura, yet he comes to AEW pretty much solely to put other people over. I can't think of a huge amount of other folks who can consistently lose and still come off as a massive threat.

Not much to add, another solid night of wrestling action and FIGHTS~!! Not that he has many singles matches, but apparently I had totally missed that Matthews had been coming out to "Eyes Adjust" by Twitching Tongues. Cool cool cool. For the uninitiated, TT's singer is Colin Young, who's also the drummer/main songwriter for God's Hate. Colin has also helped put together themes for Julia Hart and Kings of The Black Throne, and was a part of that wonderful Ass Boys theme a lil while back. Dynamite looks stacked, this has been a damn fine run for AEW since we got past the MJF/Devil nonsense.

The Copeland open challenges have been great so far, especially loved the end of last week's match with Moriarty. Makes me wonder how many times we need to have "ex-WWE guy comes to AEW" and actually kicks some ass before the bad faith posters stop using that talking point... *insert J Jonah Jameson laugh gif here*

I'll admit, this idea came WAY before Gracia's rise. Starks, I can take or leave. I'm sure there's plenty of folks you could sub out, just figured that list of names would give you the exact vibe I had in mind.

I maintain that Perry would be potentially phenomenal in a "Pussy Posse"/Entourage kinda faction. Have it be him, Starks, Garcia, Kassidy and Quen as douchebag wannabe D-listers who's main concern is hooking up at the club after the show. Wrestling's done pseudo-Hollywood/rich prick characters before but I feel like this would be a different twist on that.

We just watched the whole thing and yeah, really dug it even if it wasn't something phenomenal. Honestly, can't lie, we both loved Reservation Dogs so a familiarity with the setting and a LOT of the actors helped - but really, they couldn't give us just one "shit-ass"?

I don't care about his last opponent(s) but I wish we could see him wrestle Danielson just so it goes down in history as having happened. One of those "would you ever have believed this?!" situations.

Sting/Darby/Shingo vs The Bucks/El Phantasmo was at the first Forbidden Door and it was fucking excellent - and I skip most Bucks matches, tbh...

Surely Sting had zero say as to who he'd face in his FINAL MATCH EVER. Fuck's sake...
