  1. I finally got a copy of Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2nd Gig, one of the series that I was missing for my collection. I also got a Bloom County collection book (Classics of Western Literature), a nice pair of work gloves, some Cubs apparel, some cash and gift cards, a ton of food, and two growlers of beer from a local brewery. My wife and son got a Kindle Fire HD that they'll share, so that was the big thing in our house this morning.
  2. The reverse kick off return. When all else fails...
  3. So I... it... I... Pardon me, I need a drink. Quantum NFL Mathematics gives me a headache.
  4. I think this is the way it goes: Ravens win and they're in. Ravens lose and Dolphins win and the Fins are in. Chargers will sneak in if they beat the Chiefs (possible) and the Ravens lose to the Bengals (very possible) and the Dolphins lose to the Jets (ew...).
  5. Well that's a costly false start.
  6. Imagine that immediately bit them in the ass? And now... it's Flynn time!
  7. Wait, why wouldn't the Steelers just take two knees and kick the field goal before the clock expires?
  8. I collect Yugioh cards, though I sold a bunch to finish building a couple of decks to compete in bigger tourneys, and my wife and I collect maneki-neko figurines. And co-signed on the "Magic cards are selling for HOW MUCH" line. I've had multiple playsets of fetchlands, Wastelands, and Force of Wills in the past, and now the prices for them are near astronomical.
  9. Borderlands 2 is on sale on Xbox Live for $7.50, and the season pass is on sale for just over $20. CATCH A RIIIIIIIIDE! Also, Tiny Tina's DLC is god damn great. And challenging, too. I blew through Captain Scarlett and thought I would have the same cakewalk at least at the beginning with Tiny Tina, but I nearly died multiple times right away. Made me screw my head back on right as opposed to walking though anything in my path.
  10. I was pretty tired to comment on Thursday's game, but it was a good win. And it was a textbook example of how to beat the Broncos: keep Peyton on the sideline and chew up the clock. A fortunate bounce with the interception late helped put the game away. Chargers still need to win out against the Raiders and Chiefs to really have a shot at the second wild card slot, but it's still very possible.
  11. I took a diversion from the story line on my first Axton playthrough (heading into the finale) to try to get a little better equipment. Took me an hour, but I raked in a Bee which, when combined with the Good Touch and slag bullets from my turret, is making my life easier. I also decided to do the 1 piece of DLC that I have at the moment (Captain Scarlett) to gain a little more loot and exp before the end of my first playthrough.
  12. I think this bears repeating, but I'm a more mobile quarterback than Philip Rivers.
  13. Oh my GAWWWWD. We're going to tie!
  14. And that may be the worst penalty I've seen in a long time. Just a bad mistake.
  15. Matt Cassel is putting together another multi-million dollar drive!
  16. And we finish with Mitchell, my favorite episode. Hopefully Shout Factory will do this again next year!
  17. All right, but this is the FINAL sacrifice!
  18. And now, WAR-WILF... I mean, Werewolf. Another beautiful episode.
  19. We're off to the races with a DVDVR favorite: Space Mutiny!
  20. I think at some point, both defenses decided it was too cold to reach their arms out to tackle.
  21. It'd be nice if the Chargers had cornerbacks that could play defense outside of just holding receivers.
  22. Meanwhile in Kansas City, the Chargers are doing that cute thing they do where they drive down the field and then settle for a field goal.
  23. The Patented Scott Tolzien Spin Move!
