Had a great time at the Pro Wrestling Film Festival. If you've never seen it you need to find I Like To Hurt People. And RODDY PIPER showed up and did an hour routine with the guy behind Pro Wrestlers Vs Zombies that was awesome.

They are probably going to be my only hope of seeing an honest to goodness Sabres win in person this season when I go on the 30th.

5-2 after tonight in Philly. I hope we don't do something stupid after the season like get rid of Nolan. I really think if he gets time he can turn things around for us. Interesting tidbit: tonight's game was the first in NHL history to feature two coaches from the First Nation ( Native Canadians)

Going to Philly tomorrow to see Sabres. Of the 6 times I've seen us play there we've won 5. Also get to see us in Newark on the 30th. Let's Go Buffalo!

This Kings-Rangers game is a perfect example of what pisses me off about the NHL: you rarely see 3 good periods in a game. In this case the 2nd was pretty good while the 1st (which the Ranger announcer described as "a tad boring") was pure shit.

Went to Isles-Kings for $5 via StubHub last night (I gave my ST for the game to a friend). So I check the prices for their visit to Newark on Friday. Devils fans want $40 to see that. Devils are one of the most boring teams in the league, so I'll pass at that price.

Who is/was worse: This years Sabres or the expansion Sens? Was at game last night (#16 of the year for me) and it was awful. Had stupid Rangers fans start crap with me because I was wearing a Gilbert Perrault Sabres jersey. People who go after visiting fans are (for the most part) cowards who only act because they have numbers backing them up. Told them the only reason they are here is because the coat hanger missed. And this is non NHL, but the Danbury Whalers are having their home opener and banner raising at the Danbury Ice Arena on Saturday at 7PM. If you are in the area and want to have a good time check it out!

In a thread on MF entitled "A Middle Finger Salute to All Those Who Deserve It", Corey Vezina, the former longtime head of the ESC (he was the guy with the red ESC hoodie and glasses who (IIRC) brought the shield onto the field and was part of the celebration) posted this: Seeing guys who I've known since 2001 and have been going to games with (and especially those who were there before me) getting to celebrate was the most special part of the whole evening. The fact that every Sons Of Ben tifo is now residing in a Chester garbage can makes me even happier. I even got to touch the shield last night, the Curse of Caricola is dead!!!
