  1. Interestingly enough, one fan said "Hulk is going to lose, retire, and make a movie." He wasn't entirely wrong! WM III was about two years before No Holds Barred which was Hulk's first movie since Rocky III in 1982. I also loved the lumberjack-looking guy "Let me tell you what's going to happen here", proceeds to say one sentence, and then they cut him off. I wanted to hear what he had to say! I can remember they released some footage from Wrestlerock 1986, and the crowd segment for that was GOLD. Those folks weren't from Minnesota at all!
  2. Wrestling With Wregret also did a great episode about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0vU3VI5cbI
  3. WWE Vault released some entertaining Andre The Giant footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvakIWf4zAw Most interesting segment to me was Giant Baba(!) being introduced to Phoenix, AZ to a silent crowd: "They all have no idea who he is."
  4. Allegedly Tony put out at message that said the match was going to be shown in it's entirety on Max and for the West Coast feed; I haven't read about anyone that's actually gotten to see the rest of the show yet.
  5. I liked how he also danced the exact same way for every one of them.
  6. Gladly! On both the TNT and Max feed, the show stopped after the Mongo segment. We were still due two more matches. It went to commercial and never returned. On TNT, it started playing Black Adam with 30 minutes left in the show. On Max, it just displayed error messages including "the event has ended" and was eventually replaced with a scrolling message at the bottom to check the companies website.
  7. Now he's going to jump off of it
  8. My personal favorites: William Regal joining the company, flirting with Excalibur, and forming one of my all time favorite factions, The Blackpool Combat Club. (We won't talk about it's downfall or what it turned into.) The return of Tazz: hilarious commentator. The pandemic being a blessing in disguise of sorts. It caused (perhaps secondhandedly) the greatest era of Dark and Dark Elevation. So many great, great wrestlers appeared/debuted. So many funny as hell commentary moments happened. The days when these shows were released on YouTube were often the highlight of my week, the day(s) I looked forward to the most. The return of CM Punk to wrestling (again, we won't talk about the downfall). Most importantly: making wrestling fun again.
  9. Even better was they just released the episode where The Berzerker tried to impale The Undertake with a sword; I was JUST telling my wife about this the other day! Always love seeing Repo Man. Barry Darsow always looked like he was having fun with the gimmick. I was always curious to see how exactly they'd pull off his long-rumored face turn. Crush on the other hand, during (what I assume to be VERY early promos) didn't sound as Hawaiian as he'd later become. I was also very surprised that he mentioned Sid Justice during one of the promos, I had no idea their time in the company ever overlapped.
  10. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, that was some high quality comedy tonight. I loved seeing all the quotes about what happened, but my favorite was something along the lines of "Mox and Claudio got Collision preempted similar to how they ended Rampage because they didn't want anyone to see Hobbs murder Yuta."
  11. I'm going to disagree, and will mention Ricochet instead. We never had any idea he was going to be this much fun as a heel during his WWE run.
  12. Re: Skye Blue Is she still evil? She didn't have the black makeup anymore. Apparently Julia's mist doesn't last forever (and never affected Willow).
  13. I'm not entirely sure that they're portraying a gimmick but rather them just being their awful, actual selves. I've got an inkling that Garcia was/is going to turn on Daddy Magic and Cool Hand Ang, actually.
  14. Speaking of which, we (again) haven't heard FTR's evil theme for a second time since it's debut. I much prefer that version to their regular one. It's hard to see Sad Tazz. When he took off his glasses I knew he was going to lose it. https://iili.io/3gILdej.md.png Re: Main Event Remember The Authority? Cause that's where this angle seems to be going. Once we saw Gabe Kidd (also hate him, agreeing with everyone else) I knew it was setting up to something, but I had figured to a Blood & Guts match, not Anarchy In The Area, but that's welcome also. Frustrating.
  15. Now if we could only get an explanation for this, we'd be all set: https://iili.io/3UJYqo7.jpg
  16. It's really odd that the WWF logos were erased on the turnbuckles on the above thumbnail.
  17. Are we going to see that weird red spider again and/or will it be explained?
  18. Just caught up on both episodes. Where was Johnny Hungee? What was that red spider during the Willow/Stat match? What was that vape looking thing Cash was holding?
  19. To be fair, it got Avalon a memorable run in The Wingmen. Unfortunately for Cutler, it led to him becoming The Bucks' lackey.
  20. Looking to AEW itself from the early days; the ongoing losing streaks of Peter Avalon and Brandon Cutler endeared them greatly to us.
  21. I didn't care for them. They seemed like a combination of a hippie Bray Wyatt and a Not-Quite Big Boss Man, and not even Jake Roberts could have helped them.
  22. Featuring a rare face/face match featuring Tito vs. Koko (guess which one turns heel?) And plenty of Sean Mooney and Lord Alfred antics.
