  1. This combined with the fact (?) that the first loss match was cut short by a good bit due to an injury to Angle during the match. An epic match, followed by a very tough loss would possibly slowed the dissolution down a little bit.
  2. Yeah, so basically everyone more than a couple of years younger than you would most likely not be of age to find ROH at the time. I don't know how well this describes the current AEW fan base, but I'd figure at least to some extent, right?
  3. It's just that some fans were too young to remember Punk using Miseria Cantare as a theme, so the place didn't erupt as it should have. I only read about Punk using it early on, but at least I have the AFI album (CD) in question.
  4. But hey, I'd rather be here where it's hot than in the middle of rain, which it seems is going on in West Coast of Finland now, and when we get back home as well.
  5. In Belgium, we are about to hit at least Fuck This levels soon, and Holy Fuck later today and tomorrow. Meanwhile in Finland, the weather apparently sucks the other way!
  6. I'm going to have to check closer, if it actually is.
  7. Nevertheless, that's still great, and also a lot more sustainable time frame for such a weight loss. Also, I read that as December 5th (and assuming of 2021), obviously I would not think someone could or should halve their weight in a couple of months, because that would probably be fatal or at least very dangerous. Dropping 10-15% in that time is rough enough business.
  8. I'm currently in Antwerp, Belgium. I was shocked to see a place called "Philly", that claims to serve authentic Philly Cheesestakes. Obviously, l've never had one and I'll be here for a couple of days. Should I give it a shot?
  9. Belgium has done a number on my diet, but that was the plan. There has been plenty of walking as well as push-ups and resistance band work in the hotel room and even one workout at the hotel's Spa fitness room. They are no match for the waffle, ice cream, melted chocolate and whipped cream combo, though! I had one large portion of Flemish Fries and there has been small portions as side dishes on meals, but I haven't exactly gone nuts with those. I had trouble with muscle stiffness all over my body for a day or two, but I was able to massage them away by myself. Traps and glutes seemed to be the source of the problem, once again.
  10. You just about halved your weight in that time? That's an amazing feat. Hope the shoulder will be OK, too! Great job!
  11. (not wrestling related but...) That's nothing! I don't confuse the two per se, but I'm still astounded that Rosario Dawson and James Van Derbeek (sp?) look nothing alike, even though they are both Dawsons!
  12. Dammit! Get well soon, hopefully it will pass quickly, without too harsh symptoms!
  13. Antwerp and Bruges, or the other way around. Landing in Brussels, obviously. Haven't visited the country before, so it should be interesting.
  14. Well, I've kept the running and home workout routine going through the weekend and the first couple of the actual days off. Some 45-60 minutes of running/jogging including the stairs each time for three days straight. My legs are definitely feeling this. The workouts have been OK, but I just can't seem to get a fierce pump with this little weights, no matter how hard I try. Did get some good pics nevertheless and the photo editor works its magic every time. Early tomorrow morning we'll be off to Belgium for a week or so. There will be plenty of walking, I'm sure, and I'm taking the resistance band with me. All of this will absolutely be off-set by Belgian chocolate and waffles (no beer, though) many times over. I consider myself lucky to have gotten this far without totally blowing up. In the next couple of weeks, that's where I'm probably headed, but I don't mind.
  15. This was lovely. It shows that it is totally fine and acceptable to mark out over wrestlers half your age, so the world needs more of this.
  16. Just...no...way!
  17. Not really dissing WMV per se, even the clipped version off TV was watched SO many times over the years! I remember how elated I was when the show started, as the tv-guide didn't specify WrestleMania V, just Wrestling Main Event for 3 hours! That was a good Saturday!
  18. I saw a recap of that on an episode of Superstars, I believe. Heenan apologizes to Rooster, then proceeds to slap him and berate him more and Brawler attacks with a wooden chair, knocking out Gorilla Monsoon in the process. Pretty intense stuff!
  19. @Niners Fan in CT Yes, no one would actually cut Andre-Jake, as it was among the featured matches and the feud had been brewing since the post-SummerSlam'88 Saturday Night's Main Event. It's just a really bad match. The workrate you had come to expect from an '89 Andre, just wasn't there that night (or any other night).
  20. "It's that way!" *twist*
  21. Right, so not that far off! But for the sake of how future turned out, I wouldn't cut out a match with Bret Hart. Rougeaus rule so much that they almost made Bushwhackers bearable (and they weren't at their most unbearable yet, at that point). Hercules vs King Haku was a good match that should not be cut in order to improve the overall quality, but OK.
  22. Garvin-Bravo Andre-Jake Rooster-Heenan Dibiase-Beefcake Duggan-Bad News Bushwhackers-Rougeaus (I guess, but I wouldn't take that out myself)
  23. Did they get chopped by editing or...?
