  1. And Mark was like "I thought you meant just us two, I didn't mean I want anything to do with these douches!" but didn't actually say anything.
  2. And she married the undead. I sense a pattern here.
  3. Looking at the comprehensive list that others have made in order to answer this question, it brings up another question: Is this the reason why so many wrestlers "just love to have fun"? I mean looking at the list, any attempt to actually have any fun is almost always destined to bring misery! They are so starved for fun, because there is no way to have it in wrestling without it backfiring that it becomes their only goal? "I'd love to have fun, any fun will do! Even this stupid dancing."
  4. One more (half) day and the Winter break is finally here. We'll be going to Italy for the week, so no workouts next week, but we are planning to do some running in the mornings while there. (Ok, I packed my flexi-band in, just in case just now) I put the order in for the usual Spring/Early summer diet supplements this morning, and I guess waiting for the right moment paid off as I paid about the usual amount, despite the inflation. Granted, I had to leave out some of the less essential items, but I'll place another order if it turns out they were essential, after all (which I highly doubt). Today, I should do bench and calves and then I'll be all set. Wednesday was mostly shoulders and lat pulldowns, yesterday was messing around with heavy and heavyish dumbells. I also had one unusually easy shift at work which helped me to get in a much needed stretching for the legs. What I haven't done is make any new sports massage appointments, so I should book some once I get back from the trip. I'm currently at 183 lbs (which funnily enough also nicely translates to 83kg) with about two weeks to go before the diet begins. By the looks of it, I don't have to go too crazy this year, unless something drastic happens in the following 16 days. But if I don't go a little bit crazy, it won't be as much fun, so we shall see. ...edit: Bench and calves done, also made a new Playlist for this year's diet, as in running and workouts with high heartrate! Tested it, working wonderfully!
  5. Using dateline to backup his claim. Ok, I'll allow it.
  6. I think even that lying turd was savvy enough to mean 400 DATES a year, instead of actual days, but who the hell knows anymore?
  7. After some extra rest during Easter weekend, I started the week with the trapbar. Some decent stuff with the lighter weights, with 2 reps standing on the higher platform with 379 without Versas and 4 separate singles from various levels with 478 without them as well. I got the 574 up from exactly the same level as last week, so no improvement there, but after getting 640 up from a nice distance, I put the higher platforms in place and went straight to 674. Got 2 and 1 from similar distance as the 662 last week, so I decided to ante up. Got 3 with 684 using rest pause between each rep, then 3 with 695 with similar method from slightly shorter distance. Was going for 706 from the shortest distance and got it up, but the other platform shifted during the lift, so I had to put the weight down without clearing the rep. Still, that was something else! Quite the start for the week.
  8. I'd say easily and with a considerable margin, nevermind how good the other two are.
  9. That one Inoki vs The Great Antonio (or whatever the big guy was called) has to be amongst them, for more than one reason. If the big guy was actually suffering from some kind of mental disorder or another and Inoki took such an advantage of him inside the ring, that makes it several magnitudes worse than the absolute shit that the in-ring "action" is, until the unprofessional blows start landing.
  10. Only three workouts this week, due to Easter, but the overall mood was positive. Bench started rebounding somewhat, as I slowly started to figure out what was wrong, still only a couple of sets with 253 was highest I got. Tuesday's trapbar was once again a slight improvement with the 662, getting it up once from a better distance than last week and 3 singles from the same height as last week and then a set of 5 from the shortest distance. Before that, I also got one rep with 574 from almost floor level and one with both 618 and 640 from the "usual" platform height. There was some lighter stuff before that but nothing important. Last two mornings we've gone out for a 30 minute jogs with my wife, which is a good warm-up for the upcoming spring/summer diet as I should start get into running once again.
  11. I think they will have to find a new phrase to attach to the end of their firing news now!
  12. It's hard to prove, but the reverberations of the tremors took from 87 to 89 to reach Berlin, so it will always be in the conversation, albeit there will never be an unanimous agreement on that one.
  13. Yeah, this was an entertaining and multifaceted show, obviously had to rewatch it from the beginning once the buzz wore off. During the main event, the announcers were talking about Mike Bailey and Josh Alexander match that went nearly an hour. When was this? I'm pretty sure I'd be willing to throw ten bucks at it, just in order to see it!
  14. The Goddamn Zero Hour left me spent and they start the PPV proper with Vikingo v Komander!
  15. That has not been his job for more than a month now, but you must be correct!
  16. Thou shalt not manhandle The Boys, though!
  17. Losing that much weight makes me think of steroids, but I've never used anything, so what do I know! Edit, but still nice stuff! Wee Bey rules on Impact!
  18. I'm getting drunk while watching Impact wresting and bought this thing! Sounded cool at the time! I'm pumped...with booze! Killer Kelly left her pants at home, but I can't say I'm sad about this turn of events!
  19. 4 workouts this week, 2 leg based, two upper body based, with Wednesday off. Trapbar was pretty understated, as nothing over 574 was lifted from less than the high-ass platforms, but I did get the 662 up from a slightly lower than last time. Not from where I hoped, though. I did 3, 2, 1 and 2. I guess I'll be doing 662 every time out from now on, just trying to get the range of motion somewhere respectful. We still won't talk about the bench, but my pecs are still sore from the Thursday workout, so something is happening despite the much lower weight! Also, @Technico Support yeah, the Nick Cage-style of bandana is way cooler, but for me that is only for the one time every year I go to a bar in the summer! Otherwise it is the Hogan-style. I think I pull it off, though, as per my avatar.
  20. Was THAT Kenny Omega's NJPW theme? What the shit? Cobb needs to destroy him for this! With all the evidence and Occam's Razor pointing at BCC, I guess it's safe to say that they didn't attack Bucks?!? Matt vs Jungle Boy was cool enough, but mostly warm-up for the MJF promo, which was cool enough. Where this is going isn't 100% sure to me, but probably not 1-on-1 between the two. I expected more out of the Castle & The Boys, sad that they got squashed. I'll edit more in once I see more of the episode, but yeah, main event level singles Kenny is certainly just as much fun as trios Kenny, but with all of the spotlight! Willow was robbed, Danielson turned heel or stayed with his friends, take your pick, Butcher was impressive against OC who needed cheating to win and I may need to rethink Garcia, good stuff! I'll do Impact next!
  21. I figured I'll take full advantage of the ten bucks I spent on Honor Club and started watching Supercard of Honor 2022 last night. I got around the ending of the Interim Women's Title match, but just wanted to say that my life is now complete after witnessing a poison rana off the ring apron to the floor, courtesy of Alex(?) Zayne and Swerve in the opener! FTR vs Briscoes I is next!
  22. I second that. I wear bandana most of time, even outside the gym and I'm not even hiding a skullet!
