    GmeStop is releasing Doom Eternal a day early (today) in an attempt to thin the store traffic. Doom Eternal releases today, Animal Crossing tomorrow.

    I think it's dumb af to continue trying to run under these conditions. I watched a few bits and pieces and read the recap on Meltzer's site, but it's hard to enjoy anything right now and I don't have much interest in someone trying to run a live show. That said, the show looked and sounded suprisingly good. Definitely better than the WWE shows from the performance center. As someone who thinks Brodie Lee is basically just average, Lee/Harper being revealed as the Exalted One was underwhelming when Matt Hardy was right there.

    I kinda wonder why they haven't dimmed the lights like UFC did and hide the empty arena somewhat. If they put on old Takeovers and pre-USA episodes of NXT, I"d probably tune in regularly.

    Eh, if coronavirus expands the way it looks like it probably will, I can see networks saying F*** it and just releasing whatever original content they have. Seems unlikely shows are going to be able to resume production and finish the last episodes of their seasons. Also, wasn't there talk that the writers union was probably going to strike in May?

    Even before coronavirus, I felt like the Xbox Series X was going to end up selling for more than most gamers wanted to pay. After looking over the specs, what Raziel said. That should probably be a $1,200 console. They really want to sell in for half price. And, do they really want to release a high-priced console (that's still probably being sold at a substantial loss) in this economic climate? After we probably endure months or years or coronavirus, a global recession, and god knows what else? I feel like the people who will most get to enjoy the next generation of consoles will be radioactive mutants and the cave-dwelling remnants of humanity they enslaved.

    Yeah, risking people's health for a one-match show that was mostly a rebroadcast of a PPV match and a few interviews is just dumb. Granted, airing an 8-match card would be even dumber, but still..... If Vince wants to fill the timeslots, air old PPV's and Takeovers. Hopefully, you draw something resembling an audience from casuals who don't subscribe to the network.

    I kinda want wrestlers to play through the card on 2K20 and stream it just to see their rage when bugs render the matches un-finishable. Also, AJ Styles raging his way through any game is usually entertaining.

    I guess people are hoarding Switch consoles now? My neighbor wanted to pick up a Switch for her son and no chain store in the area has one, apparently (I did call a mom-and-pop retro store for her and discovered they have a couple). Amazon is out of stock too. Chains like Best Buy and Walmart seem to have Switches available for online orders, but I'd be a little leery of that. No idea what their supply chain is like right now. Also, who the f*** knows if mail will still be running end of the week. Looked around. Supply of PS4 Pros and Xbox Ones seems fine. Amazon seems ok on game stock, though I did notice that delivery for Amazon prime members is usually four or five days instead of 1-2. Nioh 2 is out of stock already on Amazon, backordered until April. Yeah, that sounds like a bad bet. We'll probably be living without electricity and internet by then.

    They confirmed Edge for tomorrow night's show, and Undertaker is supposed to appear to sign a contract with AJ. I won't be at all surprised if they keep building WrestleMania without talking about a firm date or location.

    Saw an article on Twitter about Bernie Sanders calling upon Nintendo to release Animal Crossing early due to the coronavirus. Read about half the article before I realized it was fake. Feel kinda dumb.

    Crawl on ESPN during the MMA coverage said WrestleMania would “probably” be canceled.

    How long do UFC telecasts usually last? Apparently, the main card doesn’t start until around 6 pm and they just mentioned SportsCenter starting at midnight? Is the show really going to go on for another six hours?

    Yeah, dimming the lighting definitely helps. I don't really notice the lack of crowd noise, but I"ve only seen a handful of fights before in my life, so I'm not sure what a bout normally sounds like.

    I will say this translates a lot better to a mostly empty arena than the WWE does. Maybe it's because they have higher production values than last night's show, or because I don't watch enough UFC to really notice the difference, but I notice the empty arena a lot less.

    Anyone actually seen Bloodshot and want to comment? I assume it's terrible since the studio decided not to pull it and (hopefully) release it when conditions are better. Edit: I wouldn't have recognized Cush Jumbo in that trailer if I wasn't looking for her. That hairstyle... is not flattering.

    This show is airing on ESPN at 3 PM today? (I don't follow MMA at all, but I'd probably tune in to catch this show since live sports are kinda scarce right now.)

    Agreed. I thought it was interesting, but not overly watchable. Personally, I';d prefer they fill time slots with old ppv's and Takeovers or something similar. It is what it is, though. I don't think it will last long. Sooner or later, someone tests positive and the roster is quarantined or sponsors get jumpy because it looks bad to be virtually the only company in the world holding live events.

    Never heard this before. Er, how does this work since every televised show is held before a live audience? 3-min chinlocks? I assume they don't typically just forget the match and stand around like Alexa and Bayley did last night/

    Ten minutes in, and the empty arena episode of SDL is surreal. I’m fascinated for how odd it is, but not particularly interesting. i still can’t believe they are actually running this in the face of virtually every other group canceling events.

    "Who is Kindred?"" is the only thing that interests me in Marvel right now, aside from what Hickman's done with the X-Men (and I'm mostly interested in Hickman scripts and the world-building, and not so interested in any book not scripted by Hickman). Although, most of the theories as to who Kindred could be seem really dark:
