The L.A. Raiders one was disappointing to me. I went in hoping it would be an "NFL Films" style focus on what happened on the field with season recaps/highlights and interviews with Bo, Mark Schraeder, Jeff Hostetler, Tim Brown, et al. Obviously, that wasn't what I got.

Okay, prior to The U: Part 2 I had never heard of Randy Phillips, and I wish to God I still hadn't heard of this idiot. He single-handedly drags down the "post-Ohio State" part of the doc, and is featured way too much in the second half of the film. Could they not get Jacory Harris or Robert Marve to sit down for an interview, or insert more footage of Ed Reed? I guess Billy Corben wanted to reinforce the "Thug U" stereotype so he filled the second half of the doc with Randy Phillips running his mouth (Antrel Rolle telling critics to "kiss my ass" didn't do himself any favors either). A quick Google search shows that Mr. Phillips played one year with the Lions before washing out of football completely, so I'm not sure why he was chosen by Corben to serve as the main spokesperson for the post-Coker era players.

They should have had Cena say "This is for my buddy Matt" and then turn his back and just stand there until Rollins finally gives up and cripples Edge.

"Paging Torts!" Unless Torts is going to bring Vinny Lecavalier, Martin St. Louis, Dave Andreychuk, Nikolai Khabibulin and a rejuvenation machine with him, that would be pretty pointless.

This has just been an awful year for WWE in general so it's fitting the year ends with the return no one wanted of The Authority. And fuck that last segment just would not end. I know the point was to get over Seth Rollins as a killer heel but that crowd was so dead they should have called an audible and ended the show with Seth and the Stooges getting Conchairtos and a Moment of Greatness.

With the Jets, I feel sorry most for Bill Barnwell and that "Yes, John Idzik has the Jets in the right direction" piece he wrote for Grantland back in October.
