My sleep deprived brain read the last few comments and I found myself asking out loud "What issue of Marvel Team-Up did I miss where Spidey crossed over with Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark?" Then my brain woke-up and internally screamed at me "ONE MORE DAY YOU NIMROD!" James

Been rewatching The Munsters and I forgot certain things. Like the fact had a twin brother named CharlieChOf course that led to me trying to figure out how you have twins when it comes to Frankenstein's monster James

Some movies you need to suffer through but then you gotvto balance it out good or at least watchable movies. My own viewing was light last week, though Sandra Violet made Daddy sit through Paul Blart: Mall Cop on Saturday. That was a movie I walked out on (to date the only full price admission movie I've ever walked out on and didn't return). I know exactly what needs to be done to that movie to make it watchable AND change its vibe all in one masterstroke! Ladies and Gentleman, i give you my pitch for Paul Blart - Mall Cop but replace Kevin James with a deep fake Charles Bronson. I promise you, it will be a better movie! I haven't figured out how to work in the ghost of Wilfred Brimley yet but give me time. I'd also add Stephen Tobolowsky and Bruce McGill to the cast... somehow! James

So ends The Righteous Gemstones, it ended on a tender note after a rather violent incident. I loved this series and it went out the way it needed to. I'm going to miss these characters James

Picked up the first volume of MADCAVE's Gatchaman comic and... it was a really fun read. They basically put it in the timeline of the original series so no worries about Gatchaman 2 and Gatchaman FIGHTER. Using the idea of a Beta team for Gatchaman in case something should happen to core 5 is a nice story hook and I found myself humming some of the old Gatchaman OST as I read. I'm hoping Vol 2 will be out fot Christmas. I can't recommend this enough! James

Head - I LOVE The Monkees! That being said, their feature film debut was experimental and kinda weird. But when the main theme of a movie is "We want to kill our public image and reinvent ourselves!" lord did thos movie deliver! The thing is? I find it wildly entertaining. It has some really great songs, incmuding a gang busters performance of "Daddy's Song" by the late Davey Jones. The fact that song is in there, given its subject matter, and the movie got a G Rating tells me that the censors didn't get the point and they just liked Davey's song and dance. It's not a movie for everyone though. If you havent seen it, read up on who was involved in the production and how it led to friction within the band. Overall, it is kind of a dark comedy that is kind of a compelling watch and how much you enjoy it might depend on how much love you got for Mike, Peter, Rickey and Davey. James

Sandra Violet turns 7 in June and she will only watch wrestling if a cage is involved. She cares not about what ked to the cage match, just that 2 or more people are in the cage is all she cares about. On the flipside of that, showing her random Great Muta Tokyo Dome entrances terrifies her James

I think the first heels I ever rooted for were the Lane/Eaton MZ just because their double teams were so slick and fun,it was hard not to root for them! James

What's the word on the new Hayabusa who debuted against Masato Tanaka? All I heard is that Ezaki's family gave their blessing James

Even better, 2 fat guys with good punches and both use a BIG Splash as a finisher James

Dude, Helen Mirren killed it on 1923 as well!! Then again, she is Helen Mirren and could play me in "The James Harris Story" and somehow makes my life compelling TV! James

It might just be the WORST movie with Jeff Fahey ever made and that is saying something! James

Eazy Rider: The Ride Back - Just... just don't watch this movie. If you're on plane with a pressurized cabin, and they show this piece of shit, do yourself and the other passengers a favor. Pop the hatch and decompress the cabin and pray the place crashes. No one should watch this James

Rewatching select episodes of The Mandalorian with Sandra Violet. She has developed an intense dislike of Paz Viszla for some reason. However, like her Daddy, she cheers when The Armorer kicks ass in "The Pirate". I'd be all for an anthology series, like "Tales of Mandalore" with every episode being framed by The Armorer telling stories to foundlings. James

Is it wrong that I think that is a decent selling point? I honestly didn't know that was the hook for the movie when I watched it and ended up enjoying despite it (though, man, you can shave 10-15 minutes off that run time) James

I remember American Crime! I remember a group of us digging the first season but the way they went all Brazil in the final epusodemade more than one of go "Why?" It had string performances from all involved James

No matter how many times I watch Annie Hall, the one kid saying "I'm into leather" slays me. It still blows my mind Walken passed on Star Wars to do 5 minutes in Annie Hall. James

So is DEAN~! 2 An Electric Boogallo or DEAN~! Harder? James

If there are physical DVDs to be sold the synopsis on the back needs to be in classic DVDVR! Speak! James

I always get Eddie The Eagle and Spider Sabich mixed-up. Then I remembered Edie isn't the one that allegedly was shot and killed by Claudine Longet. Of course when I think of Claudine Longet I think of the one early SNL skit... James

New Life - Sweet Jesus On A Cheez-it! This was pretty darn engrossing, as tale of one woman trying to track down another on the run but the readin why isn't evident at the outset of the film. When it's revealed exactly as to why Elsa is after Jessica, then the chase takes on a different form. I really liked this. Solid performances, an interesting story and a twist in the middle that kind of swaps the dynamic of who you side with. Is it a great movie? No but it is a kind of engrossing watch as things unfold. Hell, it kept my attention and that's more than half battle right there! James

As I said before, I love Silverado and pretty much the reasons why are what you put forth. The story is cookie cutter storytelling but it makes up for that with amazing visuals and fun acting and of course, incredible score! Kts just a perfect, old school Western made in the 80s. James

Always the Ralph Macchio one. The Britney one I've never seen. I recall her cover of "I love Rock'n'Roll" and declaring it her favorite Pat Benetar song in an interview! James
