The algorithm has recently started recommending fake news sites with BS news on the eruption. I notice some of the fake news sites have blue verified check marks and there is no way to block these sites. I click the button telling Google that I do not want anything from this site but Google and their algorithm keeps sending me videos from these fake news sites. How does fake news proliferate? Google spreads it via the algorithm. It does not matter to Google if you don't want to watch something. They will send it to you anyway.

Now the alt right feels emboldened by their actions so they will start going after people on the left. Then the left strikes back going after people on the right starting a sheetstorm on Twitter and social media. Meanwhile, the people who run the bot armies are laughing all the way to the bank because they could care less what side they are on. The color of money is the same.

Funny thing, back in the days of the Forum Wars, we were all trolling each other pretty hard and we were civil to each other. We argued one day in one forum and agreed in a different forum over a separate topic. We all got along and laughed it off in the end. Today, once you disagree with someone there is a rush to label you, put you in a silo, and make up how you stand on various issues. We lost civility in daily society. Politics and the news caused a lot of problems. We made rock stars of individuals who had no reason to be put on pedestals.

The key is giving kids the right kind of opportunity to play 30+ minutes a game with NBA level coaching and understanding what pro life is like for development. I don't think that playing 10 minutes a night or sitting on the bench will develop an 18 year old as much as playing 30+ minutes a night in the G league.
