The latest episode of Outlaws to Independents (The Heroes of Carter County) dives into a local promotion in East Tennessee. Good stuff. I could listen to Beau James and Jon Boucher all day. -
I started watching Sister Boniface Mysteries last week. It's light and upbeat and something I've been in the mood for.

This week's episode of Crime In Sports covers Wilhelm von Hamburg(aka Vigo the Carpathian in Ghost Busters II). He was most notably a boxer(but did tag with his dad as The Vikings in various promotions). Not much crime but an interesting listen. -
I've only drank gin a few times. The first time was around Xmas '94. Bought a 750 of Seagram's and mixed it with Mountain Dew. Ate some home made pizza and got sicker than a MF'R. Didn't try gin again until '05. Went to a cousin's wedding reception in early '90 and it was a "Mix Your Own" bar. So I started making myself some strong ass screwdrivers. That went well for a little bit until I ate some of my aunt's cooking. A little bit later I got wobbly legged and left a trail of puke out the door. The groom and his best man(both cousins) told me I needed to get my shit under control because they didn't need the cops showing up. We went back inside and I hurled again. It was time to leave. I ralphed all over the side of my dad's '86 Cavalier. Oh to be 19 again...NOT!

Had a 24 oz. tallboy of Natty Daddy(8% MFR!) and four shots of Jim Beam. Got that all for $8. Log, the interview was what it was. They had another interview after mine. It went well, but I'm susceptible to strong smells(Didn't mention that during the interview). Worked today and learned that another driver had given their notice. Still no word from management on a definite timeline. But notices are supposed to go out to customers (next Monday or Tuesday). Too many fucking rumors and innuendo(because after a while all of those rumors fly out your window) for my liking. Push comes to shove I end up adding either Haz Mat or Passenger endorsements to my CDL. Either one is iffy to me because I don't like explody stuff or live cargo, but I would deliver fuel or drive a bus if push came to shove. The biggest thing is I think I need a palate cleanser(doing something I haven't done before) just to get my head out of my ass and figure out what I want to do until I can retire(another 12+ years), but I'm not interested in anything solely related to the RV industry(because of layoffs). Worst case scenario(not that bad actually) is delivering commercial trucks across the US and Canada. Time will only tell.

Thanks.

The first time I tried it was in French Onion soup at a local diner. The seasoning of the croutons can play a hand(my favorites are Cesar and Garlic Parm) in trumping the nothingness of saltines.

Interviewing tomorrow for a job as a "trash panda"(my word, no one else's(that I know of))(aka driving a trash truck the size of the Jawa ship). Had a phone interview last week(which went quite well). Tomorrow is an in person interview. Hopefully it goes well and hopefully(I use that word a lot) they'll be receptive to me starting after the current job is finished(which we're still waiting on an end date for). If there's an overlap between the end of the current job and the start of the new one I plan on taking a road trip to experience the vibes of Bucc-ee's and Cook Out.

Did some chili in the crockpot on Sunday. I mixed a lb. of ground pork/beef(from Kroger's), 3 hamburger patties, 1 can Ro-Tela diced tomatoes(w/ ghost peppers), two cans of chili beans(beans are beans, but maybe they aren't), one shallot, and a box of Tony Caccitore's "Chili Mix". I let it go on high for five hours and added a 1 oz. bottle of Tiger Sauce(picked up at Wal Mart in a sample bottle size) before stirring for the final time. I let it cool in the fridge and had my first bowl on Monday. It was awesome and me sweating a bit. Tonight(Thursday) I had the last bowl and it was just as potent. I tend to use croutons instead of crackers(but I wouldn't kick crackers out of bed for eating crackers(would that be considered cannibalism?).

First I've heard of Stingray. I do remember catching Thunderbirds a few times when I was a kid.

2024 for actors is looking to be as 2016 was for musicians.

That looks really interesting.

The latest episode of Regional Rasslin Podcast covers the WWA. Outside of Charting the Territories covering it a few months ago I don't recall too many other pods covering it. Listened to the latest episode of Outlaws to Indies. Great episode. Now I want an episode devoted solely to Dale Mann. -
In.

Saw Stryper last night. Really fun show.

Chances are Verne probably wanted to use something by The Four Freshmen but Greg talked him into using something a little more contemporary. -
Found out today that the company I've worked at for ten years sold the property and will close early next year after seventy seven years in business. The property is going to be developed into an Aldi's. I told them I'd stay until the very end. It's going to be an interesting few months.

Glad I'm not the only one that didn't like Knock at the Cabin.

Looks like there are quite a few episodes of both The Snoops and Hec on Youtube.

I had never heard of Kodiak before and I remembering seeing Rockford Files and Police Woman when they originally aired and The Night Stalker from the CBS late night block on Fridays in 1981 or so.

CTT is a great listen. Also Jon Boucher(Al's cohost on CTT) is also the cohost on Beau James' new pod(Outlaws To Indies)(which is another good listen). -

Apparently the wrestler known as Hannibal bought the rights to a Cornette RF shoot video and then posted clips on Youtube. Not sure what the outcome(if any) of this will be, but it's damned interesting. -
I've been at my current job for ten years and a few months before I started there the man who started it all passed away at the age of 110. Pretty sure that made him the oldest person in Michigan when he passed.

Casey's also has great subs and sammies. Driving down I-69 I kept seeing a sign for Bucc-ee's(290+ miles away). I did some Googling and it's in Richmond, Kentucky(a bit south of Lexington) and it might be worth a road trip just for Schmidts and Giggles. Also a Wawa is supposed to be built in Jeffersonville, Indiana(jut north of Louisville) and that could be another road trip.
