  1. I am dying at Big Show co-opting Bryan's chant and not giving one fuck. Hilarious.
  2. The Chargers running backwards to do passing plays at the goal-line? Great stuff.
  3. OR WILL THEY?
  4. That's not a touchdown, but the Redskins' defense will let them in soon enough.
  5. Hibbert coming for that Defensive Player of the Year Award. The stat geeks can't get Marc that award again.
  6. Carlos Boozer is still the Bulls second best score, huh? I get not picking the Heat to repeat, but I don't see this Bulls team, as presently constructed, being the favorites out of the whole league. Oh, they'll be good. Play harder than anybody, play great defense, and win a bunch of games. They still got the same scoring issues though. They must be expecting a lot from Butler this year. That's not to say they can't comeback in this game though. Miami always takes their foot off the gas in these type of games.Barkley already calling the Pacers team "terrific". I expected him to pick them to win the champion by the fifth game of the season.
  7. Sweet Tyrone. The Clippers might scored 80 on that squad before half-time. On paper, this Lakers team might be spectacularly horrid on defense this year. I can't wait!
  8. On paper, the Nets should be in there. Father time and injuries are what they're going to have to fight.
  9. I've enjoyed the Grantland NBA previews too. They've been entertaining for the most part. I don't take the rankings or predictions too seriously so that helps. Plus, it is a quick way to find out who moved to new teams. Richard Jefferson is on the Utah Jazz now? Oh, okay. Things like that... Edit: Yeah, but once Rose stayed out of it, the East really looked depleted after Miami last year. There were more than a few who thought the Heat were going to sweep through the Eastern playoffs. Pacers showed up in the playoffs, but outside of them, the East was not very top heavy.
  10. I whine about the refs and the league at times, but it's always going to be my favorite sport. I'm glad it's back. People have been clowning the East for years now, but I think the top 4 teams are legit this year. East will be fun. The Bulls and Thibs usually play the regular season like their lives depend on it so I wouldn't be surprise if they get a victory over the Heat tomorrow. I want an Oden sighting and at least one Noah and Lebron confrontation. Noah can't help but annoy.
  11. The Dolphins and Pats game is going pretty much how I thought. Early lead for Miami, but they never step on the opponent's throat and it ends with a Pats' victory. From 3-0 to 3-4.
  12. This is obviously what the writers wanted but it took me a bit to embrace the Sarah character. She's still not my favorite, but at least I don't think she's just a misunderstood, brat now. The military boyfriend and the male cop are bland and sometimes grating though. Felix and Alison scenes are fun.
  13. Felix from Orphan Black is probably one of my favorite characters on television. Funny scenes. Without giving anything away, I'm not sure about some of the storylines on the show, and it's a bit too campy for my taste. I'm still interested in seeing where the second season will go.
  14. This has been out for awhile, but it's still great and worth a viewing:
  15. Yeah, but tonight he's facing one of the 5 who do not. Tough night to have your best game.
  16. WE WANT RESULTS AND EASY TARGETS.
  17. 5 TDS... but the inevitable Tony Romo pick will not be denied
  18. The playing calling and the O-line for the Dolphins was pretty foul and tough to watch. Nice fourth down throw by Tannehill, but all for naught.
  19. I'm not sure if overlaying Oppenheimer's speech on a Godzilla teaser trailer is tacky or fitting. Probably both.
  20. I haven't been excited to see a mainstream movie in awhile, but this Gravity flick has me there. The hype has set in. Gravity will at least be visually appealing. This is your moment, Sandra. Well, I'm ignoring your other moment but you get what I saying. Wait, she's not really going to read this so why I am explaining it out to her? Yeah...
  21. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/damon-lindelof-breaking-bad-finale-639484?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_term=hollywoodreporter_breakingnews&utm_campaign=THR%20Breaking%20News_2013-10-02%2010:00:00%20America/Los_Angeles_knordyke Haha, Damon Lindelof always makes me laugh when he gets uptight about LOST.
  22. Nah. Death by ricin through ingestion would not be a more humane alternative to anything. That would be a drawn-out, painful death. Again, I don't have issues with his reasons for wanting her out of the way.
  23. Killing Lydia with the ricin seem a bit extreme since Walt and her didn't have a deep-seated beef as far as I can remember. It seems he decided to take her out with this method before he even found out she got the Aryans to threaten his family. So I get why he would want her out of the way. Along with the reasons already mention, Walt also finds out she was still selling his meth brand overseas during the Charlie Rose(this still makes me laugh) interview too. I just thought the ricin death was a pretty harsh way to go about it considering their history at the point he decided to take her out. Then again, you could argue it's more about practicality than vengeance, until he discovers Lydia threaten his family and put a hit on him.
  24. Well, it was fun while it lasted. The Dolphins aren't ready for primetime though.
  25. They both won Meltzer's poll on who is the bigger star over the Rock. Yeah. Take that, Dwayne Johnson. How does it feel?
