  1. I'm interested to see who's in that smazz at the end, it should be everyone who's in the Rumble. What's IWC? International Watch Company: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Watch_Company Wade is always sending shots at the Swiss.
  2. At some point this year, Punk is turning on Bryan right? Plant the seeds
  3. It was Hogan in a rental. To start the Cena/Hogan feud for Mania.
  4. I never thought I'd feel bad for Carmelo, but dude clearly wants to kill himself. If they can't get him to commit, they need to start entertaining offers.
  5. You guys are slippin. How come you aren't talking about the big story of last night? Who was driving Orton's getaway car? I need answers.
  6. The Heat's defense has been awful many times this season. Not sure if it's effort or scheme, but it's probably a bit of both. It use to be their signature, and now it might be a weakness. They still can do their "clamp down defense with 4 minutes to go" schtick, but it doesn't always work and sometimes they have given the other team too much confidence by then for it to be effective. Also this:
  7. I don't think the league is going to agree with you and Bill. Somehow "one of the worst plays he's ever seen" might go unpunished.
  8. Oh yes. Bill Belicheck: guiding the league's disciplinary hand toward evil doers.
  9. Yeah, I actually thought the movies Niners Fan mention were all doing reasonably well or very well considering budgets/limited releases/etc.
  10. Richard Sherman gave a candid response seconds after an emotional game, guys.
  11. People are going to go on and on about Sherman, especially with a week to kill, but the Harbaugh interview was the real tough watch. You know that guy was steaming on the inside. I could feel the discomfort. No way Erin Andrews facial expressions aren't going to become a meme: The best defense vs. the best offense should make things fun. I always enjoy a good heel, but I'm jumping on the "I want to see Peyton shutup the critics" bandwagon and rooting for him. Bill Simmons excuses should be fun tomorrow.
  12. I ain't saying shit until the game is over. Edit: Oh wait....I guess I did. ~Fuck
  13. Damn. My library had the first two trades of SAGA available(1-12 issues) and I couldn't resist, despite all my whining about waiting until it's finish. I wasn't sure I was going to dig a story about parenthood and relationships even from Brian K. Vaughan, but of course, it's working for me so far. Vaughan's dialogue in SAGA is better than in Y:The Last Man or at least more mature. I know Vaughan wants to keep it within the comic world(no films), but I can't see them not at least making a video game out of the thing. I think I'm going to read Vaughan's Runaways run next.
  14. Intelligence doesn't interest me, but I hope it does well or at least Holloway finds a way to get a better role out of it if it sinks. Sawyer was my favorite LOST character and Holloway actually seem like a decent dude. Not sure he's great actor or anything, but he's likeable and that can go a long way. Speaking of Hannibal, here's the season 2 trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPi4ytN19Ow
  15. Too many good lines in this episode. The "millions of dollars" line from Troy, the hawk story, etc....but this exchange killed me: "Stop giving The Grey 4 stars." "But I like Liam Neeson!" "Then send him a message about the roles he chooses." This season has been grand so far. I was only indifferent about episode 3, which wasn't even bad. I"m just tired of the Annie-Jeff carousel that leads nowhere.
  16. They(Kevin Hart, specifically) promoted the hell out of Ride Along. TNT had them all over the NBA games, they did a skit on Conan, I'm pretty sure Hart did spots on ESPN, the commercials, and I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of other things. It was on Anchorman 2 levels. It needed to do well and looks like it did for the first weekend anyway. I think Kevin Hart has a bunch movies coming out this year too. This won't be the last we'll see of him...
  17. Fuck them man. If they couldn't do it while he was alive, they sure as shit don't deserve to have him in their bogus hall now that he's dead. Yeah, I just want the video packages/montages and maybe another DVD. The integrity of their Hall of Fame isn't a draw for me, but it's nice for the wrestlers/families/etc.
  18. The Raw thread got posters drawing a line in the sand over WWE's preplanned booking and trustworthiness. Shit is hilarious. And yeah, that Kane stuff is going to factor in somehow down the line. They finally going to put Randy Savage in this year?
  19. Sounds like another average to below average CW superhero show with just enough elements from the comics to make yall watch every single episode of it. I haven't watch the premiere of True Detective yet. I'm preparing myself for the dialogue/monologues after reading a couple of reviews though.
  20. CHALLENGE THE FIELD GOAL for the laughs
  21. Does Michael Bay have anything to do with this? I can't tell from the trailer.
  22. I believe that it only had 6 episodes. Twas quite short - what I saw was fun though. For a comedy, Fresh Meat is quite good. I checked out the first two episodes of Fresh Meat through Hulu. I'm not sure if it's actually good or not, but I'm such a sucker for coming-up-age shows set in a college environment that I'm sure I'll watch the whole thing.
  23. Studios just blowing 70 million dollar budgets on whatever sticks. When did Hercules become a hot property? I know the Rock is in one too, which should do better, but who was asking for two Hercules depictions?
