TNA Impact Wrestling - Airing April 12, 2016 from Orlando, FL

*Maria def. Gail Kim, Madison Rayne, Velvet Sky, Jade, Marti Bell, & Rebel in a Ladder Match to become the new Head of the Knockouts Division. Rosemary interfered and took out Gail with Decay carrying her to the back. After the match, Mike Bennett celebrated with Maria.

*Drew Galloway comes down for a promo. Galloway announces he has broken ribs from Lashley's spears last week so he's not cleared to wrestle tonight. Drew calls out Lasley but gets Rockstar Spud instead. Spud came out to new theme music, "Zero" by the Smashing Pumpkins. Spud talks trash until Tyrus joins him in attacking Drew. Tyrus announces he's cashing in his Bound for Gold title shot next week.

*Trevor Lee (w/ Gregory Shane Helms) def. DJ Z & Eddie Edwards in a triple threat match when he pinned Edwards after Andrew Everett interfered and pushed Edwards off the top rope.

*Eric Young and Bram come to the ring. Eric Young talks trash about hating everyone in the building and says he's taking his King of the Mountain title and leaving TNA. Young declares that he and Bram quit TNA but Bram informs him that he's tired of being his lackey. Bram challenges Young to a title match but Young low blows and piledrives him. Young went to the back and returned with scissors. Young then cut Bram's beard and declared he's the only one in TNA allowed to have a beard.

*Mike Bennett hosts a segment he calls Fairy Tale Time with Mike Bennett and his guest is EC3. Bennett claims he conquered EC3 so he is the new face of TNA. EC3 goes over his accomplishments and points out that Bennett only beat him by DQ. They argue back and forth with Bennett saying he'll never face EC3 again but EC3 says he will haunt Bennett for as long as it takes. They eventually set up a no DQ match for next week which will be the Impact: Sacrifice special.

*Al Snow def. Mahabali Shera after hitting him with brass knuckles. Prior to the match, Snow cut a promo about hating the fans and how guys that used to be fans in the crowd are now wrestlers.

*Decay return to the ring with Gail Kim held hostage. Rosemary cuts a promo about being the puppet masters and says they could cut Gail's strings or cut off her head. She says the only thing that can save Gail is Beer Money so they come out. In order to save Gail, Decay force Beer Money to defend the tag team championships against them in a match of their choosing - a Valley of Shadows match. Beer Money agree so Decay let go of Gail.

*Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy in an I Quit Match for the rights to the Hardy name ends in a no contest after Jeff hits Matt with the Swanton off a balcony leading to Matt being stretchered out.

Like literally all the guys I loved in TNA have either left and gone to NXT/WWE or ROH.

Loved the EC3/Bennett segment here, great build up to their match next week that had me looking forward to that. Both guys came off looking strong. Also solid build towards Drew/Tyrus with Drew's injured ribs. Not a whole lot else to this show but evil Al Snow is fun.
