All of this, plus our usual news, PPV and TV reports, and DVD and book reviews. Also, in this month's columns, ”Stone Cold” Steve Austin writes about the changes that he has seen in the in-ring style of professional wrestling down the years, and the greater risks that are taken today. Jim Cornette also writes about the legendary Jackie Fargo, who was one of the great stars of the U.S territory era, and Nick “Magnus” Aldis offers his reasons for broadening his working horizons as he simultaneously pushes forward with his career in TNA. Comedian Chris Brooker also pens a personal column about how he introduced pro wrestling to his girlfriend.

if anyone has any feedback for the M-Pro piece I'd love to hear it.

Honestly I learned loads researching for the piece, and I'd like to think there's stuff people will learn from reading it. You can get a free issue by buying the app for your iPhone/iPad (http://www.tinyurl.com/iTunesFSM) or Android (http://www.tinyurl.com/PlayFSM), and of course there's also the print edition at WHSmiths in the UK.

Have you ever thought about reviewing old shows on a consistent basis? I loved it when Power Slam did the complete history of PPV articles for a modern and more informed look on old shows. Obviously you couldn't run the same idea, but perhaps you could review random house shows from over he year which are lucky enough to be on film.

Or just an article on house show rarities? There's been enough great stuff out there on tape which has never been commercially released. I'm sure many would get a kick out of it.

It's not something we're considering at the moment. Other publications use these types of articles to rehash years-old material; we only want to write about the past if it's a relevant date or it regards a significant or beloved figure in the sport's history.

The Warrior article is probably the best thing I've ever written.  There's never been anything like this kind of detail on the topic before and I'm not even trying to toot my own horn when I say that seeing it all laid out in their own words is completely fascinating.

It includes:

- Excerpts from Warrior's grand jury testimony.

- Extensive details on Warrior's 1991 suspension, including what led to him writing his demand letter.

- The absolute burial Vince unleashed on Warrior in the suspension letter.

- Details of everything Warrior tested positive for as part of WWE's drug testing in 1992.

- Exactly what happened with Warrior trying to buy HGH and how it got him fired.

- The customized terms of Warrior's 1996 contract.

- What exactly led to Warrior throwing a fit in '96 and walking out and who exactly may have been responsible.

- An exclusive, never before reported on development that will surprise a lot of people, which I won't spoil here. smile.png

And much, much more.  It's exactly the type of thing I'd expect everyone here to love reading.

Nice to see you took my above amazing advise of covering old shows with a current informed look with Spring Stampede 1999. When am I due a royalty for that?  ;)

Are you an FSM subscriber?

Nah buddy, although I do buy the magazine most months. I work around the country quite a bit and rarely know where I'm going to be two months ahead.

The cheapest and easiest way to subscribe to FSM is via our website. UK subscribers will receive their copy of FSM before the shops (subject to a reliable postal service), and upon subscribing for 12 issues, will receive two additional issues absolutely free. This means that instead of paying a total of £55.86 in shops, the same content is available via subscription for £35.

Still, if you prefer to pick up FSM at your newsagent, WH Smiths and Easons are the main stockists in the UK and Ireland. For other outlets, please consider asking them to reserve your copy each month, at no extra charge.

FSM is also available on iPad, iPhone, and Android. You can purchase the iPhone / iPad app here: http://tinyurl.com/FSMiPhoneiPad and the Android app here: http://tinyurl.com/PlayFSM The app costs just £1.99, but you are entitled to download a free issue of your choice with this purchase. FSM looks stunning on a high-resolution screen, while another advantage of the app is that it links to many hours of relevant matches, promos, and shoot interviews that you do not get with the print edition.

You can also make digital or print purchases directly from www.FightingSpiritMagazine.co.uk .

FSM truly appreciates your support and feedback, and is eager to print the articles that you would like to read. To make a suggestion, please tweet editor Brian Elliott at @FSM_Editor or visit our Facebook discussion forum at www.tinyurl.com/JoinFSM

just want to say that the main reason I pick the mag up is for the feature articles on old British/WOS wrestlers. It was always a bit of a blackhole subject until the Wrestling Channel came on Sky in 2004 and exposure grew and your articles are great at filling in the blanks with the wrestlers I got to watch

Much appreciated. It's a nice compliment we get from those in the industry, too.

Issue 108 of Fighting Spirit Magazine is now available!

In this month's edition, FSM has feature-length articles on:

- Rusev, as WWE tweaks the narrative of the Russian heel of the 1980s

- The Usos, who have risen up the card to become one of WWE's best babyface acts

- WWE's cuts process, and what history tells us about those who are let go

- Gunner, who explains what his life was like in the Marine Corps, before his passion for pro wrestling led him to TNA

- House of Hardcore, and how the group is far more than just an ECW tribute act

- Danny Collins, who describes how breaking in to pro wrestling at 16 was just the start of a unique career path

All of this, plus our usual news, PPV and TV reports, and DVD and book reviews. This month's issue also includes Nick “Magnus” Aldis' column on Gunner and his five favourite in-ring opponents, while Jim Cornette tells the bizarre story of how OJ Simpson changed the course of wrestling history. Former NXT Creative Assistant Rob Naylor also writes about his new passion, SHINE Wrestling, while Will Cooling argues that Froch vs. Groves II proves the importance of boxing on pay-per-view.
