As far as ads go, Adblock Plus or something similar will do the job. I actually have more hassle with Youtube lately, it'll sometimes just freak out if I skip ahead. However, the fact that playlists just randomly disappear, videos all of a sudden are gone from playlists, and that my watch later list will revert to no videos for no freaking reason whatsoever is very annoying.
