So AAA is on Spanish Speaking U.S. Television and I have access to the channel it’s on so I decided to watch the show and make a thread about it.

I got early New Japan on AXS vibes from this. It featured two matches from Triplemania Monterrey from late April and judging from these matches position on the card we will probably be back at Triplemania next week. That is atleast how New Japan on AXS would do it.

That trios match was a hell of a lot of fun. Great choice to feature Dr Wagner Jr and Negro Casas in the first match of the debuting program. I just want to point out there was a video package on the history of AAA which was really well done but they showed Wagner unmasking in that video package and then he’s wrestling with the mask on. So I have a question about that cuz later in the match Wagner’s mask is ripped off and he keeps wrestling like no big deal so does he sometimes wrestle with the mask sometimes wrestle without the mask? Oh the match? A shit ton of fun erupted into full choas at the end with entrance music led run-ins and outside dives and just a blast.

El Hijo del Vikings got a video package and I think it was wise. This kids a star put him on the US show introduce him to the US audience he’s been on AEW before that crowd would watch this seems wise. They got a cross over Star there.

Main Event time and it Del Rio vs Dolph! Patron vs Nemeth! I remembering vividly watching the Raw after mania ten years ago and Dolph cashing in the Money in the Bank on Del Rio. With the way Mania 30 ended and Dolph winning the belt the night after I really thought WWE was heading in a different direction a fresh direction boy was I wrong. Here we are ten years later and Alberto Del Rio is Alberto El Patron and Dolph Ziggler is Nic Nemeth and they are wrestling each other in a giant six sided ring in the middle of Mexico. This match was fun, crowd was into it, they seemed to be enjoying themselves. Nic Nemeth is on his Free From The WWE Tour and El Patron decided to show up so that’s a plus. This show is like New Japan on AXS cuz Patron did a leg drop to Nemeth through a table and the table didn’t break necessarily. Dolph wins after hitting a Zig Zag and is the New Mega Champion. Nic Nemeth has been on a run this year best thing to happen to him was being released from the WWE.

i enjoyed this show and will be watching next week and fro the looks of it Jeff Jarrett will be here next week.

For old times sake here’s Dolph cashing in on Del Rio

WHOA! I am shocked. You'd think it'd be even less organized than old CMLL, which was like three hours of trios matches, half of which was camera-focused on the ring girls and the crowd.

It's actually gonna be on in an hour so I'll watch. This prior one is recorded on my DVR too.

*sigh* Well, I turned on the new episode and it was (IIRC)

Vampiro's Army with the Clowns vs. Jeff Jarrett's Army with the jabronis

and

Mesias' Army vs. Cibernetico's Army

That's... just another wrestling show on my DVR I end up deleting every week to save space. There are several of those.

AAA looks a little better. I've had it on in the background and looked up to see Australian Suicide doing a Shooting Star Press off a balcony! They've also got a Satanic goat dude named Belcegor so that is right up my alley.

You also have Dorian Roldan talking to Konnan so YMMV
