*Taped for BTI: Seleziya Sparx vs. Tara Rising went to a no contest (7:12) when Masha Slamovich attacked both women with a chain. After the match, Masha challenges Killer Kelly to a dog collar match at Against All Odds. 

Impact Wrestling - Airing June 8, 2023 from London, Ontario, Canada

*Chris Bey (w/ Ace Austin) def. Jason Hotch (w/ Brian Myers & John Skyler) (7:35) with a rollup reversal. After the match, Myers, Hotch, & Skyler attacked Ace & Bey.

*Heath def. Champagne Singh (w/ Shera) (2:56) after the Wake Up Call

*Joe Hendry def. Sheldon Jean (w/ Kenny King) (7:33) after the Standing Ovation. After the match, Hendry debuted his new song "Divas Reject" mocking Dirty Dango. Dango, Sheldon, & King attacked Hendry until Santino Marella made the save.

*The Coven (Taylor Wilde & KiLynn King)(c) def. Death Dollz (JesSICKa & Courtney Rush) (6:23) when Taylor pinned Rush to retain the knockouts tag team championships.

*Trey Miguel def. Bhupinder Gujjar (5:23) with the Lightning Spiral. After the match, Trey cut a promo calling himself a generational talent and putting over his accomplishments as X Division Champion.

*Moose & Rich Swann def. Nick Aldis & Jonathan Gresham (13:33) when Moose pinned Gresham after a powerbomb. After the match, all four men brawl. Heath came down and got involved, followed by Bully Ray. PCO arrived and sent Bully from the ring, standing tall inside with Aldis at ringside, Bully on the ramp, and everyone else down in the brawl.

It would make me irrationally happy to see Santino have yet another retirement break with a match or two, though this is probably just a one-off since they're in Canada. Hell, just let him dislocate Hendry's fretting arm with a judo throw. Pretty please?

Solid show with mostly shorter matches and build to Against All Odds. Fun main event and post-match chaos. Figuring Aldis is a lock for Slammiversary title shot. Trey is the man, hope he retains but could see that going either way.

Joe Hendry's latest song and video was hilarious as usual, made me want to see Summer Rae brought in.

Sparx/Tara was fun on BTI while it lasted, got more time than I expected before Masha killed both. Huge hopes for Masha/Kelly round 2.
