I checked and only got the $10 option. Historically I've done 5000 for $20, so I just bought 2 $10s just in case they pull it for good.

I waited until my 30s to get into the Dead, and I jokingly say the only substances involved were beer while cleaning the house. A band that kind of started my habit of making most of my distance runs and workouts to jam band sets via Nugs, Relisten, Spotify, etc. Otherwise, I'm usually running to podcasts.

For us Deadheads on the board, it was just announced that Phil Lesh passed away this morning.

I think it's a case for they feel stuck with him after opting not to cut ties with him over the summer, and they put themselves in that position by letting him last until the FA Cup final.

It's their rewards program. Some of it's tied to doing things in games they select, but a lot is tied to purchases.

I don't interact with that rewards platform that much. I was trying to make a habit of at least interacting with the app and the jewel game. I maybe get a couple of hours of gaming in a week. Many weeks I get zero. My fiancee's kids use my PS5 for Fortnite more than I do.

Brady Cook and their starting RB Nate Noel are doubtful for the game, and Iine has moved 3 points since the start of the week because of that.

Playstation will no longer give star points for Subscriptions starting in March, which is a bummer because I do enjoy cashing out $20 in points every few months, and I fear that going away eventually.

I've been to a couple of Troy games in the past where the attendance was this depressing. I said I had been to high school games for bad football teams that were better attended. Towards the end of the Blakeney era, it was one of the signs that a change was needed. It's kind of what's a bummer about this year's team as well, and I'm a little worried it's the new normal for them.

MyFaction was honestly its best with 2K22 because it was their first one with the relaunch after the nightmare of 2k20, and the Microtransactional stuff was basically optional. You could get the cards you wanted just through playing the game. I think the towers mode you're referencing was pre 2k22 and was the Million Dollar challenge ones with the Gold AJ Styles. I'm not sure I ever pulled off beating him.

I saw something on Twitter about the theme being there, and thought "maybe I'll fire this up tonight." This bums me out. I may still fumble around with it for 30 minutes.

I'm glad we had a similar experience with this one. I'd add that I liked the use of Nicholas Braun in this one even if it was a bit of a stunt. I was reacting the same way as the characters on the screen were during his final moment in the movie.

I'm happy for Kenny Dillingham. That post game interview was fun stuff and the passion you love to see. We are in for a really fun day of football.

We saw Saturday Night last night, and I did a poor job of expressing my thoughts on Letterboxd. The reaction to it has been quite tepid with some Studio 60 comparisons and even a somewhat fitting Birdman comparison with some of the technique. I really enjoyed it, and it worked for me. We've been watching a lot of SNL in recent years as its one of the shared viewing experiences with the kids.

It seems like a precarious position to be in also in that the management style is clearly not working, but the roster composition for what should be a brand that delivers high level, top of the table play is simply not there. It also makes it tougher to attract top talent via the transfer window because brand perception is soured if you didn't grow up fantasizing about playing in the glory years of those Man U squads, which those players are starting to age out of existence.

The SEC Injury reports are still odd to see this season. With that said, Oklahoma ruled out 5 of their receivers for Saturday, which is not good for a starting freshman QB.

I'm guessing this is about the CTE comment. I saw that going around on Twitter this morning (I still can't call it X).

I heard Simmons talk about it a year or two ago on his podcast (before any of the larger allegations) because people were asking if he was still doing it, and he talked about how interesting it was to be in different meetings and discussions with Vince. I do think this was meant to be more in a positive light given the working relationship of all involved but the case quickly pivoted it.

I wish I watched more of the 80s project than I did. I got the discs for the WWF one when that started ages ago.
