  1. Q: Who has the best theme music of all of the times? A: Yoshi Tatsu
  2. I get that he's a nuanced guy and like I said, I've enjoyed his interviews. I feel like I've explained myself pretty well in a few posts. I just tune out when the guy is in the ring. I just have no desire to see the guy wrestle. It's not about MOVEZ or FLIPZZ. Hell, I grew up watching Barry Windham headlocking Ric Flair for 10 minutes of a 60 minute draw and enjoyed the hell out of it.
  3. I'll give Mark Henry props for having a comb over with cornrows.
  4. Who's the Tommy Dreamer to his Raven? Perhaps Alicia Fox could be the fat girl from summer camp.
  5. I liked Vader and enjoyed a lot of his work in WWF actually. Lots of underrated matches that people sleep on b/c he was basically on jobber duty after 1996. Also, don't know if they count as "big dude" wrestlers but I'm a huge fan of Stan Hansen and Terry Gordy. Those guys just seemed to do a lot more in the ring. I'm going to outright say that you don't get it and I'm honestly sorry for you, because there's so much more to wrestling than "doing a lot in the ring." I think mostly all of us felt that way at some point in our life though. We grew out of it. I know it sounds hard to believe, but so much about why Henry is so good is because of what he DOESN'T do in the ring. Well we're just gonna have to do the dreaded "agree to disagree". I've watched a ton of wrestling over the years and Mark Henry just doesn't do it for me. Sorry.
  6. I think a Kofi heel turn would be pretty interesting. If he just snapped and took out Punk or Cena. It would be so out of character for him that I think people would get into it. He's real life friends with Punk so that could be played off of.

  8. Not arguing that. He should club guys down. I just don't want to see it.
  9. Yeah, he does.Really and why is that? "NOT ENOUGH FLIPZZZ"I wish Davey Richards would grow dreads. What else don't you like about big Mark though dude? I'm willing to hear you out. I just get really bored during his matches. He's a great interview in my opinion and I do like his character but once the bell rings, I just tune out. I've watched him quite a few times but he's just too plodding for me. He's just some guy that people bounce off of and he doesn't do anything.
  10. Yeah, he does. Really and why is that? "NOT ENOUGH FLIPZZZ" I wish Davey Richards would grow dreads.
  11. Yeah, he does.Well, golly, you sure told us, Dorothy Parker. Do you care to elaborate, or will you just move on to telling us all you banged our moms? No, I won't. I just find his matches pretty boring. Cool trashtalk doesn't make up for not having compelling matches in my opinion.
  12. I don't know what you all see but Mark Henry kinda sucks.
  13. Can you imagine what it must have been like when those two went out to party after a show? Andre drinking gallons of beer, Dusty calling up Dick Murdoch looking for that dangol mule.Imagine the mufflers. Big Johnny, ya got ya muffla in baby?
  14. If Bryan turns heel again, I would love for him to be all smarmy and actually insist that people call it "The Knee That Beat John Cena".
  15. You really think Bryan vs Cena is better than the recent Tanahashi vs Okada match? I do not. Both are terrific and you can't go wrong with either. I underrated the recent Tanahashi/Okada match on a first viewing when tired till I watched it the second time today and I was wrong. It's their best match now. I cared about Cena/Bryan because Bryan is a long time favourite of mine and THAT ending: Hey, that's the Knee That Beat John Cena!
  16. Something has always struck me as dangerous about that move. I wouldn't be surprised if the WWE banned it. I think it was Lance Storm who said that people don't like to take the move because you don't have much control over how you land with that bump. You're basically relying on the other guy not to break your neck. Hall and Sheamus always seemed to do it relatively safely while I don't know what amount of money you'd have to pay me to take Hernandez' version.
  17. IIRC yes, it was. The F5 was improvised. For Brock to finish that match after spiking himself like he did was unreal. When Skynet builds the Terminators, he's their prototype. You can hear the referee screaming very loudly at Brock to kick out when Angle covered him after the missed SSP.
  18. Also, according to Bob Holly, Stamboli is one of the main reasons for the dress code. He wore a t-shirt that said "Suck my dick" or something like that on a plane and reportedly Vince flipped out when he heard that and implemented the dress code.
  19. I thought Bodie's story arc was the best arc on the show. Omar's was really good, but his downward spiral was a little too much for me. Bodie telling Wallace to stand up like a man before he shot him paired with him standing his ground when his time came made Bodie my favorite character in TV history. You can say how dispicable some of Bodie's actions were, but you have to give him credit for standing up and walking the walk when shit hit the fan. The show had so many examples of people taking the easy way out(*cough* Stringer *cough*) that Bodie's refusal to leave his corner when Chris and Snoop came for him stood out as honorable. Even though he was like one of those "little, bald headed, bitches," in the grand scheme of things, on that corner he was a king. Bodie was my favorite character as well. I was also a mark for Kenny "Bricks" Wangler on Oz too. Regarding Stringer and Marlo, I read a commentary a while back (can't remember where though) where they compared the fates of those two. Stringer was a guy who didn't really care about street cred as much as his cronies wanted legit power, came close but was really out of his element despite all of his schooling (Clay Davis playing him like a fiddle for example). Marlo was a guy who cared a great deal about his street cred, didn't really care much for legit power but somehow got it anyway; witness him walking out of the party at the end b/c he clearly felt uncomfortable in that world and then just randomly challenging those guys on the street who were glorifying Omar. I thought that was an interesting observation on those two.
  20. I thought for sure Sandow was going to bust out a piledriver against Cena.
  21. I've seen Ambrose rake a guy's face along the top rope. The one thing I hate now is that sometimes an eye poke is treated as a DQ. Could you imagine if that was the case when Flair or Piper were in their primes? Hell, Hogan used to rake the eyes a ton.
  22. Foley vs. Flair's I Quit Match is the last one I can think of.
  23. They really should give that suplex into a stunner that R-Truth uses as a transition move and give it to someone for a finisher.
