  1. He'll give Baszler/Sane six stars, because he likes to overcompensate.
  2. Hey, Trent Baretta, what do you think about all of this? Oh, okay then.
  3. MJF isn't officially announced for a match, even though he's likely just in the Over Budget Battle Royal.
  4. Martin Kove has to be playing Charles Manson, surely.
  5. Sean Ross Sapp says SummerSlam will be in Toronto next year.
  6. All you guys thinking Ambrose looked like a mini Triple H, while my first thought was a jacked up Ringmaster Steve Austin.
  7. QUILTBAG. Yes. That's what I'm using from now on.
  8. Mr. Robot, Queen of the South, Damnation, The Sinner, Falling Water.... I know it's pretty subjective, but those are all pretty good original series that are on USA Network. As far as I know they're original series, anyway.
  9. I don't think a few months away and new music/gear is going to solve the Roman Reigns problem.
  10. Uh, have you lived in America the past year or two? Just because it happened years ago and there weren't any complaints, doesn't mean that nothing could happen.
  11. One of the Bucks said on Twitter that their 6 man tag match is closing the show. Also, Meltzer said that there's a real possibility of All In being shown in full on WGN America once the PPV window closes. They originally wanted to air the entire thing on their network, but supposedly the Bucks and Cody had a "vision for the show".
  12. I just saw Three Billboards and jesus christ, that film takes so many turns. Not too thrilled about that ending, though. All in all, it's pretty good.
  13. The booklet that came with some copies of De-Loused actually had the concept of the album presented as a short story, if I'm remembering correctly. I was definitely a fan of At the Drive-In before The Mars Volta, but I just remember being so turned off by Cedric's vocals on Inertiatic ESP at the time that I never gave it a second listen until "Frances the Mute" came out and I was in a better place, musically, to enjoy that type of music. It's kind of jarring to hear Cedric do something like Alpha Centauri and then hear him on "De-Loused". It's the same with Omar, too. 98% of the live shows I've seen have been at Bonnaroo, a festival, and I've run the gamut when it comes to show quality. JAY Z was incredible live, but Black Star sucked. My Morning Jacket, Arcade Fire, Ty Segall, James Blake, The Growlers... all fantastic in a festival setting. The only two shows I've seen outside of a festival setting have been Nine Inch Nails and She & Him, and those were both great too, so. It's weird, though, because She & Him sounded infinitely better at the Ryman than they did during the afternoon at Bonnaroo.
  14. the hell is this post-match stuff with Tanahashi? Are they stalling?
  15. It's not about that song, or even the album, but goddamnit De-Loused in the Comatorium is an all-time great album. If they never released Amputechture, they would have had an amazing three album stretch (De-Loused/Frances/Bedlam). Funny story, but my best friend met his wife on the fan board, The Comatorium. Oh, and an extra sidenote: Depending on the day of the week, the Mars Volta are either the best or worst live act. I've heard and watched so many bootlegs over the years, where there will be a stretch of awesome shows where everyone is just ON POINT, and then the next tour date happens and they suck. I didn't know which version I'd get when I saw them in 97 degree heat at Bonnaroo 2009, and unfortunately, it was the version where everything sounds like a goddamn mess.
  16. I can name like 15 movies released in 2008 that I enjoyed more than Wall-E.
  17. Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders will be in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
  18. Black Panther came after Ragnarok, though. Wouldn't the actual "trio" be Ragnarok, Black Panther and Infinity War?
  19. My dad was a huge wrestling fan - when he was little, up until probably about 1996/1997. I know I watched it with him when I was little - apparently I was an Ultimate Warrior fan even though I don't remember any of this. My first memories of wrestling is honestly Attitude Era stuff, so, that would have been when I was around 10 or 11, I guess. Right when I started to really get into wrestling, and not just watching it because my dad was, is around the same time my dad stopped watching it because it got too risque for his tastes. I think this is when his love for NASCAR really started to take off, around 1998, then it kinda fell off a cliff for a little bit after Dale Earnhardt died. Which happened while we were in line to get into WCW SuperBrawl Revenge 2001. I've never seen so many grown men crying in my life. My mom wanted to go to this show, too, because her favorite wrestler was Kevin Nash and he was in the main event. But she had just been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, so she couldn't make it. She ended up being the one to call my dad (flip phones!) and tell him about Earnhardt. Really soured the mood for the rest of the evening.
  20. The winner of the Over Budget Battle Royale will get a shot at Jay Lethal’s ROH title.
  21. Liv Morgan wore my favorite pair of Air Jordans tonight. That's all I know about what happened on RAW.
  22. Cody is going to be the focal point of the NWA after All In, I'd almost bet on that.
  23. Posting Dave's tweet is hilarious, considering a few minutes later he said that Toni Storm should be one of the main focuses of the women's division on either RAW or Smackdown. A blonde headed white female.
  24. You're going to sit there and try to compare a division with 13 wrestlers to the rest of the RAW brand, with 39 wrestlers on it? 205 Live has more workers than the women's division on RAW.
  25. What is this "presented like a star" bullshit? Alexa Bliss is running away from Ronda Rousey and hiding behind Mickie James of all people, that's surely not being presented like a star to the general TV audience. Also, RAW proves your idea of "one women's storyline at a time" wrong because Bliss/Rousey and the Banks/Bayley thing is going on concurrently. It doesn't matter if one program gets 30 seconds and the other gets 20 minutes every week - it's still two female programs running at once, irregardless of how you feel about said storylines.
