  1. Act recorded a message from her hospital bed. I have no idea what all she's saying (maybe somebody can), but I did see where she said she expects to be back soon. EDIT: I lied, it sounds like she is saying she can't see very well and her face is sore but she will absolutely be back in the ring again. I need to make a loop of her bit when she sounds like she's telling a bedtime story. Great to doze off to.
  2. Carol left Paul Heyman speechless with that promo.
  3. Why do I get the feeling that the producers tried to hire Cherry Jones for the role of Deanna and got turned down. And I'm on the edge of my seat as to whether Rick gets his drink refill in a future episode.
  4. I enjoyed the Io Shirai/Yoneyama match from 1/18 and it seems the Shirai/Koguma match from last weekend is one to watch too.
  5. So, it looks like Act's surgery to repair her fractures went well. She tried to blog herself, but her eyes are still blurry and she wasn't very successful.
  6. YES! OMG YES! I couldn't quite put my finger on what he looked like but that's it! "That dammm Tully Blanchard snuck up on me from beeehind in the bowels of the Bayfront Center and stole my din-dins"
  7. In what context is that ever an appropriate facial expression? When you're unclogging somebody's toilet.
  8. The Act doc director has blogged that Act is feeling better. The swelling has gone down and she has surgery scheduled for tomorrow. http://ameblo.jp/tkhr-lovepunk/entry-11996383125.html
  9. Parks and Rec was always sweet without being sappy, funny without being crass and made Pawnee the sort of place you wish you lived.
  10. I think Act is the one that prevented Yoshiko being banned for life. While everybody is blogging, here is Nanae's http://www.diamondblog.jp/official/nanaracka/2015/02/25/2%E6%9C%8825%E6%97%A5%E3%80%82/. Again, I'm not positive, but it looks like Act said she wants to "wrestle" Yoshiko again one day. It looks like it says Act suffered fractured cheekbones, orbital and nasal bones. As well as damage to both retinas, but I don't think it's detached retinas.
  11. I was hoping that Ron's Ranger team would have been the grown up versions of the Pawnee Rangers.
  12. It looks like he's the director of the Act documentary. Just a couple of things that stood out. (My Japanese is horrible, btw) He says that Act sometimes has trouble communicating with others. He also noticed no heat between her and Yoshiko during filming. (nevermind Yoshiko says she hates her in the trailer) I'll see if I can get a real Japanese person on it.
  13. I have no idea how this is best for the buisness. With this fight they: - Ensured at least one of their girls is going to be out for a while. - Exposed the rest of the show as fake, since this was clearly a real fight. They also forced the promotion to admit their product is fake. - Exposed a heel(Kimura) as not being very heelish, since she was the only one brave enough to stop this - Made everyone minus Act and Kimura look absolutely horrible. Yoshiko surely lost some fans, Rossy looked like an inept promoter and Wada looked like a WWF Attitude Era ref for ineptness. - Got bad press and upset fans Not seeing the dollar signs with this one. Okay fine, maybe Act/Yoshiko might pop a house down the line but the costs to do that don't work out. Yeah, let's expose the business in front of thousands of people by having our champ shoot on our most popular wrestler. Just by his rambling, incoherent posting style, I know I don't have to bother giving any credence to his opinion. What a dickhead.
  14. They want to sell magazines, not cause instantaneous vomiting.
  15. This has all the looks of a worked shoot devolving into a real shoot. I'm not sure what point in the match the highlights were, but it looked like Act wanted to go stiff right off the bat and Yoshiko just thought, "I'll show her". Yoshiko actually seems upset and then at the end goes back into character. Kimura and the ref both look like they are in on it, but once Act's face gets jacked up they realize it's too late. And Act is always gonna try to keep going even if she can't see. My guess is they tried to recreate Hokuto/Kandori and Yoshiko went too far.
  16. Act just blogged an apology for the main event yesterday. My poor Japanese leads me to believe that both of her eyes are swollen shut, but she said she'll be ok and back at it when she's healed up. She almost seems to be excusing Yoshiko, but I'm not sure. She's definitely repping Stardom and hoping people don't look bad at the company.
