  1. I don't know about AJ coming off as a star. Besides the crowd popping huge for him, what did he do that was so special? How many eliminations did he have? 1? He didn't really set up any future feuds, except maybe with KO. He took way too much offense and bumped around like Dolph Ziggler. Like everyone else, I'm tired of the predictable booking. Triple H and Reigns have been the Vegas odds leaders for weeks. For about a heartbeat I thought Ambrose had a chance. Nope. Not going to happen.
  2. It's strange seeing the temple so sparsely attended in these early episodes. Also, what happened to Vampiro as the season went on? He doesn't look to be in too bad of shape early. He must have put on 35-40 pounds by the time Ultima Lucha rolled around.
  3. His liver may be shot but apparently his reproductive organs are doing just fine.
  4. Remember last Wrestlemania when Damien Sandow was one of the top 5 most over wrestlers on the roster? Seems like a decade ago.
  5. To add to what cubsfan said, stay away from Cagematch's Wrestler Database too. I learned that the hard way when wondering what a certain Indy wrestler had been up to the past few months.
  6. I just realized this was from the infamous Wee Willie Wilkens (aka Wellington Wilkens Jr of Michinoku Pro fame) squash that Dusty Rhodes talked about in his book. Cornette also talked about it during one of his podcasts. This is Scott Keith's write-up which I stole from a post that cwoy2j made here a couple years ago. The Midnight Express v. Phil Brown & Wee Willie Wilkins. OK, this is the famous squash that was discussed on the blog a while back. The full story is in Dusty Rhodes’ book, believe it or not, but basically Wilkins was this little guy who thought he was hot shit and didn’t think he warranted position as a jobber because he had a couple of jacked up bodybuilder friends who he brought with him to the tapings. So Dusty decides to punish him with the Wee Willie name instead of his previous choice “Blue Thunder” (cough). And then he got in the MX’s face backstage, so this is the result. Condrey pounds Brown down to start and Eaton drops the flying knee, just beautifully. And we get the traditional rubbing of the belts in the jobber’s face by Cornette, and it’s over to Wilkins. Dennis gets on his knees to challenge him, which is hilarious, and Cornette actually jokes that he should call himself “Blue Thunder” on commentary. Eaton brings Wilkins off the top with a backdrop suplex and Condrey drops a knee, and it’s back to Brown again. Condrey, however, gives Wilkins another round of punishment while he’s leaving the ring, so he tags back in again. Eaton also does the kneeling joke and then starts laying in some pretty stiff shots and laughs off his offense. Like, literally chuckles when Wilkins is trying to make a comeback. Oh man, this is the best squash ever. Eaton adds a neckbreaker on the floor, and back in so Wilkins can tag out again. Condrey chokes him out on the ropes and they do the in-and-out gag, and Eaton suplexes him. Back to Wee Willie again and Condrey suplexes him and really lays into him with boots, as does Eaton. Willie then makes a major error and no-sells the beating, popping up with attitude, so the Express finishes with the Rocket Launcher at 7:00. I’d hate to be that punk in the dressing room afterwards.
  7. Another recap I read said that Finn won after hitting Bloody Sunday. Let the speculation continue.
  8. Who would you rather nail: Mama Murphy or Trash Can Carla?
  9. I'm assuming the Bullet Club are coming in as heels. So that means Balor will have to turn if they plan to reunite. I hope they throw Samoa Joe in the mix too. I expect tomorrow's NXT tapings to be interesting. I'd love to see them make a Nexus like impact during their debut, but I've been burned too many times to get my hopes up.
  10. You are correct on Rush and CZW I did eventually find him on Cagematch.
  11. The first 3 names for this year's Top Prospect Tourney have been announced. They are: Action Ortiz, Punisher Martinez, and Lio Rush. I'm going to plead my ignorance and say I don't know anything about these guys. Cagematch has nothing. Anyone have any insight?
  12. Pete, I know what you are saying but how much more energy are you going to save if you kick out at 2.25 compared to 2.99?
  13. I've been watching the Best of USWA under the Global section. Man, the Sportatorium was empty for those shows. It's not like the USWA sent their B talent either. I realize he never had a huge presence in Texas, but you would think that Jerry Lawler would fill the venue based on his name alone. Good supporting cast with Jarrett, Dundee, and Eddie Gilbert. Say what you will about Global, but they really revitalized the Dallas scene, at least for a couple years. Once the money mark backed out, Global went down the toilet.
  14. All I heard him announce in that moment was "A 70-year-old man is going to cut the sleeves off a ref shirt next week so that we can see his guns." Ed Hochuli is refereeing the main event? Seriously though, wrestlers have to stop watching the ref's hand during the false finishes. Cena was especially terrible tonight. It always takes me out of the match.
  15. A few things Craig... If you aren't aware, your companion can carry a lot of your junk. Also, you can really lighten your load if you come across a settlement with an accessible workshop. Access your inventory and then drop some of your junk. Enter workshop mode, then highlight and scrap the junk on the ground. That 5 pound microscope will now become a series of gears, glass, crystal, and fiber optics which weigh practically nothing. Just remember to retrieve it from the workshop. Better yet, store some of your junk in any container you come across. Fast travel back to Sanctuary and drop off a load. Fast travel back to the place where you stored the junk. It will still be there. Make multiple trips. Sure beats the heck out of walking at a snail's pace.
  16. Is there a simple way to determine which settlers have been assigned jobs and beds? I've been assigning them and then equipping them with striped suits or sequined dresses, but there has to be an easier way.
  17. The description of Vampiro's YouShoot interview features this nugget: You want stories about sleeping in a morgue... CHECK Performing black magic ceremonies at Allister Crowley's house in Sicily?... CHECK Witnessing Meng knock down telephone poles hit (with?) the thrust of his hand... CHECK! The legend only grows stronger.
  18. Finally, Rey Rey on El Rey. Also, who's the special forces dude? His scenes in the trailer were dope. You never saw Craig "Pitbull" Pittman or Cobra shooting any fools in WCW. Oh yeah, one more thing. El Jefe is back!
  19. During the tapings, the tag champs lost in a non-title match and there was another pointless handicap match. Weren't there rumors on Monday about changes on the horizon?
  20. I realized what I was doing wrong. I was placing the walls directly on top of the foundation. I should have added floor pieces and then added the walls.
  21. I've given up on trying to build my own shacks in my settlements and am just going with the prefab versions from this point on. I cannot make a square/rectangular home using the wooden walls. The sides don't seem to match up with the corner pieces. The Sims, this ain't.
  22. It's all about setting precedent. Don't shut this down next thing you know you got Rack Zyder and Zolph Diggler running around the Indie scene. Exactly, I'd hate to have Doc Gallows and Lance Archer running around Japan.
  23. What's the best way to earn caps? I average around 800 caps at a time. That's a long way away from the 40,000 caps or so that some stores charge for a unique weapon. My best weapons are shotguns, so I spend a lot of money on ammo. I think I'm at the first rank of cap collector. That brought the price of shotgun shells down from 9 caps to 8 caps.
  24. I don't know how I missed this earlier. Methinks Mr. Braddox will be corresponding with Jerry McDevitt soon. If Dinsmore hasn't received a cease and desist reference his U-Gene name, I'm pretty sure Mad Braddox will be ok.
