She should get an automatic title fight with Joanna Champion. It probably worked out well for her in the long run, but there was only so far for her to go in WSOF when there was literally no one for her to fight.

Some nice fan art: -
Just started getting into Shokugeki no Soma, and it does not disappoint. Animation quality seems pretty good at the start, so I hope they can keep that consistent throughout the run of the show. I love martial arts type shows, but this is basically Gordon Ramsay's Masterchef meets History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi meets Bleach. I know the orgasm scenes are a point of contention for some critics. Personally, I find them hilarious because they are so ridiculous and over-the-top. The reason the show works IMHO? You know the idiocy in typical shounen type shows where you constantly having the heroes and villains taking fucking hours of time out of a fight to explain EXACTLY what the hell they are doing to the opponent, which is freaking moronic, here it actually makes sense that characters are explaining what they are doing because they are cooking a dish. So it's like they are basically telling a judge how they infused their dish with certain flavors.

Anthony Pettis injured (again) and Edson Barboza takes his place against Myles Jury for upcoming UFC Fight Night in Chicago. Injury bug loves irony.

Agent Carter renewed for season 2. Agents of SHIELD renewed for season 3. Really happy about Agent Carter renewal. Happy to hear the Agents of SHIELD spin-off was shelved. Just makes no sense right now to do another SHIELD series when you have Agent Carter. Coupled with renewal for Daredevil and all the other Netflix shows, Marvel is killing it on the TV end.

Before everyone loses their breath, that looks to be an unconfirmed and unverified story on Joss Whedon. It came from like a podcast rumor. Also this: Do you guys really think Whedon is staying with Disney after Age of Ultron?

Yeah, I have no idea how this is a Captain America movie. How can a romance with Sharon Carter even happen and get developed at this point with the one million characters? -
Now to be perfectly honest, I find some of these numbers less than impressive. Then again, I have no idea the average payout most fighters are getting from sponsors per fight for logos, wearing the merch, etc. The royalty clause is interesting, but it only really helps the fighters if people buy their personal merch. And based on how the market has apparently been drying up for MMA/fight apparel, I wonder how lucrative that market could be for UFC fighter Reebak apparel. Before this deal was announced a lot of stories were coming out that fighters were struggling with sponsors, sponsors were bouncing their checks, sponsors are drying up, or sponsors are only willing to give fighters pennies to do a ton of promotion for wearing their gear or a logo spot. Now the dialogue has changed with this new deal. Based on a lot of fighter complaints, it seems their sponsorship deals were stronger than ever before. Unless some of them are lying. I don't know how the heck Brendan Schaub, who also claimed he made more money from his Fox Sports podcast, is clearing six figures PER FIGHT on sponsor money alone when he's 2-4 in his last six fights. I know he's a heavyweight and was on TUF, but if he's able to manage that type of sponsor payout, what are other fighters at a similar level getting before this deal.

Yeah but that was when Cain was basically at his peak and he was fighting against the sport's biggest draw. Now he's at a point where he's fighting sporadically and constantly injured.

Deej has all but come out and blatantly said that Xur will never never ever never sell Gally, Hawkmoon (PS), Thunderlord, or some of the really popular exotics. Which is odd because there is supposed to be some sick RL coming out with HoW that is supposed to make Gally look like a potato gun. Allowing players to upgrade 300's was smart because you make the VoG raid relevant again. Before that, why bother with getting a six man fireteam for the VoG when you could beat the Crota raid with three guys in the same amount of time or less? I could be wrong, but didn't he sell the Gjallhorn before? Seems like an odd rule to make, especially when Xur has sold the Ice Breaker.

Brendan Schaub claimed on Twitter that he was getting six figures in sponsorships in each of his last six fights. So believe it or not. Granted, Schaub also said before that he made more money from his Fox Sports podcast than he did from fighting. However, if he's hitting six figures from sponsorship money alone for his last six fights, he shouldn't be hard up for money right now unless he's invested it poorly or spent it all. He's also only 2-4 in his last six.

I think that would be smart for Bader to still try and fight. However, like I said, the herd is thinning. Like a fight with Manuwa makes a lot of sense, but Manuwa just fought last month and he's dealing with an injury layoff ATM. Everyone one else in the top 15 like just fought recently or can't fight on that upcoming card against Bader. The only other feasible option I can come up with looking at the light heavyweight lineup is Nikita Krylov. I mean, not a world beater, but he's got a winning UFC record, and he's coming off two wins at light heavyweight. UFC light heavyweight is sadly going the way of the heavyweight division. It's really lacking for an infusion of young, up and coming new talent.
-
I am thinking same time next year.
-
Bader can always sign with Bellator when his contract is up so we can get a light heavyweight title rematch with Phil Davis . Kind of sucks for Bader, but the herd has been really thinned on light heavyweight as of late. Bader has fought or beaten most of the other guys in the top 15. Evans is still injured. Jones is out until his legal issues get resolved. Gustafsson is injured again. Shogun and Nogueira are on Ultimate Fighter, and I think they will probably fight in the summer. The craziest thing about all of this...Bader could be next in line for a title shot, unless UFC just decides to book the winner of Johnson/Cormier against Gustaffson later this year.

I am sure that when it comes to video game companies and Marvel, the ratio of people with people skills to people without people skills is like 999999999 to one. They're there to talk about the tech and not much else. Marvel and DC folks do not assume that stuffing instead of potatoes will sell itself. Then why are they bringing in the likes of Jamie Kennedy and Aaron Priceman to bomb their whole pressers?
-
Joe Johnston would also be my choice, especially since he helped create the character .

I remember going to the pre-E3 show for Konami one year, I think it was 2011, and I remember they showed the crowd there this really dry, long and boring preview video. It was such a let down because Kojima was in it and he was interviewed and basically said absolutely nothing of note for what felt like 20 minutes. There was this bullshit about transfarring that no on there gave a shit about. It was like one big tease for Metal Gear Solid V only for Kojima to not announce anything at all. Just this one long, bizarre and boring preview video. I remember not being so much infuriated by it except for like...WTF. I recall this video was streamed online, so it should be out there if you look for it. I'm like have any of these organizers ever been to like D23 or Comic-Con? Watch a Marvel Studios panel, they know how to play to a crowd.

Yes. I've been a regular attendee for E3 the last three years. Easy trek since I live in SoCal.

I understand the criticisms, but the reason I bought it was because the Empire was starting to see cracks. His boss's girlfriend was dying, and he wanted to put on the big boy britches and handle things himself. I also thought Wesley was trying to trick her and psyche her out about the gun. Obviously it failed. EDIT: Here's some more interesting data on Daredevil ratings for Netflix. Basically, Netflix's most watched original show this year. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2015/04/28/research-firm-measures-ratings-for-netflix-original-series-daredevil-is-most-watched/395824/

Super Smash Brothers for Wii U and 3DS

Already got them on pre-order from Wal-Mart. An Amiibo Facebook group really helped me out with that. I'm not a huge Amiibo completist, but I feel the pain of people who aren't getting the ones they want. I hope Nintendo is sincere. I mean it's nice to make promises, but actions speak louder than words.
