all these “Cody’s gonna be running the WWE soon” tweets sure do like to assume that if Endeavor bounces HHH for closeness to Vince, he’ll be replaced by a wrestling person instead of Endeavor having to learn the downsides of having non-wrestling people run the WWE -
there's also the whole "Chiefs playing a playoff game in the Raiders stadium before the Raiders do" thing

it's been a long while since we've had a wrestling show change commentators for the first and second hour, right? unless i'm forgetting something obvious, that hasn't been a thing since like 1999... guess it's easier to rotate commentators mid-show if they're not at ringside

if managers still existed in wrestling, that could be something CM Punk could do without injuring himself as often or commentating -
would it be too many tattoos for CM Punk and Corey Graves to be 2/3rds of the commentary team on Smackdown? I know they don't wanna do three man teams, but.. it's the WWE and plans change

overbooking fantasy booking idea if they need to figure out a Rollins match and Punk might not be available an Elimination Chamber match for a shot at Rollins at Wrestlemania use Rumble performances as a way to determine who would work qualifying matches for that match put these 12 into 6 matches to determine who is in the Elimination Chamber match Jey Uso, Dominik, Gunther, Andrade, CM Punk(?), Nakamura, Carmelo Hayes, Finn Balor, Bronson, Drew McIntyre, Ludwig Kaiser, and The Miz. With Bron Breakker as the first alternate is Punk can't go. That group is everybody in the Rumble not on Smackdown who went more than 6 minutes in the Rumble, except for Cody and Damian Priest. I don't watch enough weekly TV to know the most logical storyline pairings for those 12. Also, since last I've heard, Gunther can't travel to Australia, this might be a chance to give somebody a non-title win on Gunther (gasp!) with the idea that person is gonna face Gunther at Wrestlemania in a return match. Unless the idea becomes Gunther vs Kaiser since Gunther had fatherly disappointment at Kaiser for being eliminated on Saturday. Or hell, have Kaiser beat the guy who beat Gunther during EC and then both of them have a reason to be in a match with Gunther and you can get the belt off of Gunther without beating Gunther. Although I guess if Gunther can't leave the US, that might slow down his World Title push for a few months. But maybe a 6 man pairing of Finn, Drew, Nakamura, Jey Uso, The Miz, and Punk. Or the first five and Bron. Or the first 5 and Andrade if you want Bron to work Dominik. Then, I guess if Rollins really can't go at Mania, then the winner of that match is beating Damian Priest to determine a new champion. Got 3 hours a week of Raw to fill. Gotta fill it with something if you don't have Seth working and maybe not Punk. -

looking at NewsBank/Access World News and here are the American news sources to mention "Paul Levesque" since Saturday night Non US sources include the Times of India, The Sun and the Daily Mail. But that's literally the entire list. The presser got more ink in the UK than the US and probably more coverage depending on what the Mail/Sun's reach is compared to Sunday CNN. One thing i've noticed on a few stories is that the British media does more work on picking up some US stories that really don't get a lot of coverage in the US. I guess having a million-billion British tabloids competing with each other incentivizes finding stuff that might not be in 10 other papers. Also the UK papers are better about not paywalling than the US ones. But yeah, when it comes to the road of having to say anything in public, it's possible that Triple H can avoid having to say much else before Wrestlemania, aside from Australia, which will involve mostly Australian media and also happen at a time that it won't be seen live in the US anyway. So he just needs to go like 2 months without pissing off Ari Emanuel/Nick Khan. -

Today's BTS episode is the first one done in the period of this current board. Of course, you might have to work a little to find old posts on here. January 2014, when the big WWE issue was fans hijacking shows because they wanted Daniel Bryan to get pushed. How quaint. Also BTS posted their 4 part Titangate Patreon from a few years ago if you have like 18 hours of time to fill. -
this will be the turning point noted whenever Dan Campbell gets fired

probably a good idea to not send Dan Campbell to Vegas for a week

His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy. There's vomit on his sweater already, mom's spaghetti

might get the Chiefs go full heel for a Super Bowl with the Lions
-
with today's win, the Chiefs have as many wins in the postseason this month as the Ravens have had since winning the Super Bowl 11 years ago
-
the Ravens ran the "pass interference play" a few times in this half and it didn't draw DPI on overthrown balls in their side of the 50
-
The Chiefs defense is doing more to bleed clock by chasing Lamar around than the Chiefs offense has done
-
fortunately for Lamar, the MVP voting concludes before the postseason, doesn't it?
-
a lead is the best run defense you can have
-
3rd and 1 is an interesting time for Lamar to become a pocket passer
-
the Chiefs still perfectly content to park the bus and try to win this one 17-7
-
Flowers cut his finger slamming it on the bench in frustration... amazing sequence for him
-
has Zay Flowers ever fumbled any balls botching the "drop the ball on the goalline" move?

Andy Reid calling plays in the 2nd half that'll get blamed on Matt Nagy
