I want to start a kickstarter of a full length movie based on the meeting between Slick and Blassie when Blassie turned his guys over to him.

It's a really good series. A Toronto match, a couple of Boston matches, a MSG match, I think. Some of the blowoffs had Ronnie Garvin as the ref. Obviously Summerslam 89 which was the six man with Andre and Duggan. I like the series a lot. It really shows Demolition's versatility as they're able to play FIP far better than the Road Warriors ever did and Ax was an amazing hot tag for it, unleashed and slamming people and what not.
-
They had a run with Demolition but the most visible of that was when the Brainbusters had the titles. Yeah, what Josh said.

it could be that Dave realizes that everyone else internally realizes that the problem is the announcers/the writers? We're in a world where things that WWE thinks will get over, like Batista coming back, bomb horribly. I doubt people are worried too much about Adam Rose relatively.

Ok, so is Arrow actually good, or is it just CW low expectations good?

Invest in a AAA membership. Never know when you might get FOUR flat tires.

To be fair, I think Sin Cara was a big merch seller, even if he was more or less a failure. I think if they had brought Averno in like he wanted, Averno might have been the one to really get over.

Gorilla always made a big deal out of the fact that the brain never had any titles until 1989.

Hart didn't get a guy into a big show main event until Summerslam 90
-
Doesn't he use the Regal Cutter ? That move is great.
-
Bundy might not have been in that spot without Heenan though.
-
Also Link. Hart got Link too. According to cagematch.net Adrian Adonis got 12 title fights with Hogan. So it wasn't a total bust. You're a scholar and a gentleman for looking that up. How many title matches did Bundy get though?
-
Why the hell did Jimmy Hart agree to trade away King Kong Bundy to Heenan?
-
I have nothing productive to add, really, because I've got another Rush/Shocker trios match to watch and this Valiente match, so I don't have time to do heavy Gran Markus Jr research, but imagine the value of that guy. it's SIGNED.

You will believe that a bird can fly.

Jimmy Hart selling out the Natural Disasters for Money Inc was a pretty genius move though.

I think that once you get past Allison whose character is genius and gets every single great scene and just how good Tatiana Maslany is, the show is just okay. I don't find most of the characters particularly compelling and some, like Felix is hugely grating (though he works really well paired with Allison because her stuff is just that great). It's a show with a very good actress, a pretty good gimmick, one amazing stand out character, and Matt Frewer chewing the scenery. I do think it's fairly well paced in that it's always moving despite being serialized, but it's not the best show on TV. It's some pretty really good candy with some legitimately great elements.

He was great on the JBL/Cole show. my biggest complaint is that he doesn't work his gimmick into his matches more.

I read that as Conquered the Steak for some reason. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlq0l2vEO-M

Fuji was actually a really good manager and the WON was just reactive or deadset in its "Oh god, wrestling can't be embarrassing. It has to be serious." views. I think he was pretty effective in laying in interference and really, for a lot of matches his teams were involved was critical for either the finishes or the heels taking over and he was good at hitting his marks. His promos were fairly effective too. Were they stereotypical? Sure but they were also pretty memorable and deeply insulting to the babyface. Add in the fact that he could get in the ring occasionally and be effective at playing the role he had to there, and he's hugely underrated. I also think he's underrated as a wrestler, but that's beside the point. When there were guys like Frenchy Martin or Johnny V running around, Fuji was great.

That's easy. Mr. Fuji dumping Demolition without stealing the titles first. Also, Sting letting Flair convince him to tag up against AA and Pillman. Fuji also issued an open challenge to a fresh Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania with his champion exhausted. Macho Man picking a fight with an enraged Hogan while reigning champion was a really bad decision. Though I guess he had to beat Hogan to live with himself. But Sting knew what Flair was going to do. He was trying to do what he thought was right and even warned Flair. This was not Tommy Dreamer trusting the Bruise Brothers. Actually thinking about it, Flair was pretty stupid to pick that fight with Sting. One great thing about Flair is that every time he pulls shit like that, he wins the title shortly thereafter.

No power moves? He should do this and roll around the ring three times with it then.

Unhinged Alicia is going to be a little weird when unhinged AJ comes back.

I can see that.
