Man those Watts rules just ruined me watching the six-man. Fuck that. I can see it now, backstage. Watts: "Use the top-rope rule, get it over" Arn: "..." And of course he puts his boys on top of the card, forget about Sting. Phew. Hell, Steamboat had been totally emblematic of WCW right then, and was gonna bring with Rude one of the top three matches in the federation of all time, and he doesn't even go last. I dunno. It's just... you don't put tags on last, unless it's enormous, Von Erichs or something. Steiners are WCW 4 Lyfe too but it doesn't work that way, when MVC is surely not as over as them in the fans' eyes. This is like a smark fan's perfect card and not what should have been put in order on air. So, we got the main event that Cowboy wanted. I loved this -- Ross: "Ya know, Rick Steiner's got a degree from the University of Minnesota, in education..." Jesse: "YAH, right. In what, kindergarden?" Then of course, Rick and Steve go over the top rope back into the ring and the ref says nothing. Gordy hits Scotty and his falls off the top buckle, nobody blinks an eye. Everything is gnarly and grinding and stiff, big suplexes, mean mat wrestling, extended legwork. Ring cut off most of the time. Beautiful work. But... they go to a time limit finish, to end a PPV. Reason being, 1. They got to sell a tag-team tournament, and 2. Couldn't have Bill's boys lose! I see his psychology. But more than that, I see the ego. And the lack of heat for the last match underlined it. Jesse's Hare Krishna/Dave Dictor haircut though. Siiiiiiiiick.

That would be like someone filming Rage or "Cain Rose Up".

Cool, if any of it's still on Netflix then there we go. I'm 99% sure I've seen The Living Dead Girl too, at my friend's house totally plastered... on Netflix. EDIT: Yeah not a shred of it on Netflix

Motion-capture CGI anime. With the actors' real faces.

I did not know that Wild Things (prime porn for a '90s kid seeing it on HBO) was directed by frickin' John McNaughton of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer infamy. Wow.

https://www.fangoria.com/lesbian-vampires-french-zombies-jean-rollin-best-horror-movies/ Sticking this here to remind me that I really need to WATCH MORE JEAN ROLLIN. (Fascination and The Grapes of Death are two of my favorite horror films and I have no idea why I haven't seen anything else that I can recall of his.)

Guess what showed up in my Facebook feed after reading this? A post from a page I don't follow with photos of Bayne and Janela. Yeah, they aren't watching us all. No way. Anyway, there isn't any enormous size difference, but Janela did look like a total goof in all of them.

Haven't heard about it, but he seems rather small and she seems rather large? Even though it's only a four inch size difference, according to Wiki. Anyway, none of my business, and happy for them.

Pretty great tag, pretty great main -- and I swear I'm not saying that because both ended up having some blood in them. Garcia just ate shit all night long. That brainbuster, you could feel the crowd just shut up and accept it, pick up their bags and get ready to go. If he's got to lose it makes sense to put him through the wringer. Fletcher is more like a wood-chipper than a wringer. I'm not sure the constant closeups of Cole's Face of Dire Concern with the puppy-dog eyes helped (at least helped me) but otherwise this was killer. It felt like FTR/Outrunners was even hotter than that. They also got pretty wrecked, with the one dude's nose getting smashed (I am not up on the names yet but I screw up FTRs still too) to where he had the dye job get blood in it and turn orange. I swear, if they had won with that Shatter Machine, the roof would have came off that place. My other favorite part of the night was the chola jobber going up against Willow getting pissed and putting her hair up, and the Cali crowd collectively, instinctively pulling out their phones to film a clip for WorldstarHipHop A few more bits were Caster saying "This is my life's work" (oh god I cracked up), the dude in the crowd with a white shirt that just had a GIANT all-over face of John Cena on it, the FLESHER LIGHT SECTION sign from mohawk man (of course), and Yuter's hair now being grown down to Danzig-in-Samhain length. On the Discord, AxB said, and I quote, "Soon it will grow so long, his fringe will merge with his beard, and he will achieve a literal FULL head of hair."

I kept watching even though I hated Pettingill. Clearly, child me already had a latent masochist streak. -

Are you sure that Sierra Nevada didn't just taste like it was skunked because it's Sierra Nevada?

It's what the Cowboy would have wanted him to say.

If you're coming out during a Bash match though, you should be dressed with a local radio station shirt, jeans, and cowboy boots. Bunkhouse gear minus the kneepads. -

My review is in the other thread (WWE News). I have NO idea what they were doing with that tag title finish, hell they apparently didn't either. They could have made a funny skit about Kamala not understanding the golf cart. Also funny is how with the fan attack, they pretty much ate what a wrestler would if they jumped the ring with the same results, guys just getting tossed out of the ring easily. It's like they were plants, but there's no way in that day and age they would do that and actively encourage real fan assaults.
